Green Daya nostalgic listen. Not the type of music i really listen to anymore, but a nice trip down memory lane for maybe a once a decade ride
a nostalgic listen. Not the type of music i really listen to anymore, but a nice trip down memory lane for maybe a once a decade ride
Has a Bosa Nova-esq feel a-la Astrid Gilberto, but with hints of Roberta Flack and a lil Joni Mitchell high notes at times. Loved it, saved it, will listen again.
Bowie's posthumous album. His final gift to the world. Given the setting and the lyrical composition the album gets extra points. Its not a regular listen, but it is impactful and gets played at least on his death-aversary if not a few other times each year. Missing Bowie every day.
leans into hair metal/the ballad rock of the 80s, but still holding on to that classic 70s rock and roll feel. Definitely high energy and some classic rock n roll jams
Excellent. That late 60s early 70s psych-pop. Definitely can tell he hung with the Beatles. Is a regular listen
excellent album, does Radiohead have a bad album? this one in particular is reminiscent of high school. That classic downtempo psych rock sound Radiohead has been come to be known for. Always worth a listen
folky, weird, kinda Bob Dylan esq without the lyrical prowess. Didnt love it, but happy to of heard it
a classic jazz album. Miles Davis is the king, never disappoints, fits so many moods/settings.
A pivotal album in Rap and my own personal initial exposure to Rap music. That classic East Coast style that led to me some favorite artists. While it doesnt have the replay value it once had, its still a classic.
high energy, fun, reminds me of high school. A great blend of that post punk ska-esq without the horns upbeat feeling.
excellent 60 pop a-la jim croce but less southern influence. Will definitely listen again
excellent, really a beginning of something new in music that has blossomed into a big and beautiful scene. Would listen again
Some songs that are classics in their genre. Not an album that ill personally return to often but I appreciate what it did for music
hard pass on U2, Bono's voice makes my skin crawl
enjoyed it, have never heard of artist or album previously. Felt like would hit better on certain days depending on mood etc.
loved it, soulful jazzy r&b. checked a lot of boxes
Bowie could do no wrong imo. While not my top Bowie album (Ziggy). Still an excellent album
The Band is underrated in modern music. Levon and Robbie were both genius's. I love this album. I love The Band. A never skip for me
just not a T swift fan. Respect that she has built the following she has, just not for me.
excellent, James Brown was a master of his craft
wonderful album, something special in the early 90s while being in the grunge vein but somehow still outside it
excellent 80s metal
quality album, special for what it is and its time, limited replay value in my current life
eh, beats were good, raps were fine
the mans a legend. This album is great but not my personal fav from him. That post war blues though is something special
love that 70s Prog. Truly something special and often overlooked
really enjoyed it, had never heard of him but was relaxing and a pleasant listen
an incredible album. Really nothing else needs said. A never skip
classic 90s album. He's got an all time voice
feels like high school
feels like middle school
A sad genius
fine, not something id listen to regularly
amazing, Neil never disappoints and this is definitely some upper induced Neil Young
interesting, very early in the electronic movement at 92. Would listen again
loved it, was a great change of pace and a dip back into "Brasillia"
can truly never go wrong with Sir Elton John. This album has got some bangers on it, hoping that "Honkeytonk Chateau" is on this list somewhere - my personal fav Elton album
id heard the name but never the music. enjoyed it, not for everyday but worth another listen
enjoyed it, felt like something i should have found in highschool and built memories with. Since i didnt it doesnt have that same level of nostalgia similar music does so doesnt hit quite the same way.
incredible, that old country is timeless and a never skip
Great for its time, not something i will revisit often
gotta be in the right mood for that level of 80s. but "holding back the years" is a bop
LOVE Deep Purple. Cant say this is my favorite album of theirs but its certainly an excellent 70s rock album
Its Bob Dylan, what more really needs to be said.
its The Boss. Not what im looking for on a reg basis. But it definitely has its place.
a classic, still throw on the live I love you New York from time to time
Steely Dan is just all time. Never skip. Incredible.
not really for me, musically was p good, but didnt care for voice
enjoyed it, that calming late 60 Pop.
Al Green is an all time. That voice is top tier
Not my favorite prince album. But it’s still prince
seems a little teeny boppy, but i enjoy the beats/music
love it, that early Flaming Lips is classic.
really enjoyed it, powerful voice, good musically.
so many great songs, Love the Gorillaz. Damon is a genius
love the talking heads.
enjoyed it having never heard of it. Beats and melodies. Definitely a precursor to things that came later that i love
Hard not to love, as popular or "popular" as they are. At the end of the day the music is still great
space jazz? improvisational psychedelia? weird but good? Like early Pink Floyd
honestly not bad, better than expected. Do i want to listen to it everyday? nah. Would i bash my brains out if it was stuck in my CD player? definitely. But there's only a select handful of albums that wouldnt elicit that response. Id give it 3.5 stars if i could but dont quite feel like it deserves 4 so 3 it is
Enjoyed it WAY more than expected. Some late 80s electronic. Its like New Wave meets Nine Inch Nails meets something i dont even know how to identify. Maybe because i went in with such low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Would listen again, not daily, but again
not a bad 70s albums, some replayable songs, prob a 3.5 but gets a 3
Not a bad album for a dude that married his 13 year old cousin, some classics, but a little too eh in the country/blues to have regular listen. needs to be about 10 years earlier or 10 years later. Sorry Jerry
eh, not for me
really enjoyed it, didnt recognize the name but once i started listening i recognized the voice. 10/10 would listen again
it has its place, but this brand of 90s rap isnt for the regular play
Ray Charles is a legend and this double album has a ton of classics. Such a soothing voice
A female Bob Dylan lyrically. Love what she did for music and what she was doing at the time, but not my cup of tea for a regular listen
Love the Who, this album did so much for music, Keith Moon just bangin away leading the band thru the who album
top tier reggae, one of the few actually worth listening to. Excellent musically, lyrically relevant and i mean its Bob Marley, how many people can name another Reggae artist?
kind of similar to how i feel about Bruce Springsteen.
p dang good album that i had forgot about. Combo of molly and acid really did somethin for these guys. A special place in time haha
i love this album. Captain Beef is severely underrated in my opinion.
classic Karen O. Love her, album has some great songs but many that i would skip on a regular listen
Wish i could give it 10 stars. This album is incredible. Nico's voice over the psych rock benzo induced music is like a snip of a moment in time and ill never get enough of it.
i think on a different day it may hit better. I liked the weirdness of it but need to revisit on a day where im more open to it.
enjoyed it more than expected, love the addition of the symphony to bring new life to songs ive heard countless times
fats was cool, and a kingpin in his time/genre. appreciate what he did for music
maybe my favorite Talking Heads album? Always hard to say.
a classic, pivotal for its time and music going forward
just an all time album. Clapton really operating on all cylinders
i mean its an incredible album. while it may not be my personal favorite album and i wish they would return to the in your face funk/punk. Still a top album from start to finish
some days i love it, some days i skip it. Shes got a beautiful voice but just not a never skip
some days i love it, some days i skip it. Shes got a beautiful voice but just not a never skip
feel like i say "a classic" a lot, but this certainly also falls into that category. Perfect for a rainy day or just a relaxing drive.
didnt love it, beat/lyrics were pretty repetitive but had a good voice
Just not the biggest fan of "the boss"
10/10. Marvin Gaye was incredible.
Enjoyed the punk rock feel with the occasional blues riff thrown in. Not an everyday listen but enjoyed more than expected
a beautiful snapshot of 1960s West coast psychedelia. Their best album by far and an iconic 60s rock album
