It’s enjoyable, but music of this era/style sort of blends together for me. I would like it more if I could watch the performance as well as hear the live album. Sounds like he was a great performer. Wish I didn’t read about his personal life/death while listening.

Couple of his best tracks. Overall a little too disco sounding for me.

Best rap album of all time.

Had no idea he was such a revered musician. Only knew “Put the lime in the coconut” before this. Absolutely love Without You.

I like new wave more than I am willing to admit more often than not, but a lot of songs sound too similar if you’re not well versed in the genre.

Very relaxing. Great for a quiet morning. I may keep it on deck for mornings or nights when I want something a bit softer. No stand out songs, but I enjoyed it for what it was. My dad was a big fan of Ray Charles so it made me think of him a lot which was nice

Not typically my thing. Maybe I don’t “get it”? Folk rock is just boring to me. I can feel the substance, but I can’t get deeper than a surface level listen.

Too long by about 35 tracks.
