I tapped out at “swimming in the fallopian/of an Ethiopian”

I do not like The Doors but this is probably their best album. Bonus points for being short.

This was a great listen. Almost soothing in a way.

I'm sure this is very influential but there is nothing fun about this record. At all. Perhaps that is the point but decades later it is just a chore.

Not my style of music at all, and a little racy for the morning at work.

Influential but not great

I can hear this album in its entirety in my brain, and for 30 years no less.

I swear I'm not a hater, I just don't care. "Blank Space" is an all-timer, though.

This is one of those records that is important for its influence but not something you'd be throwing on all the time.

I have better memories of this record than it really deserves.

This is legitimately one of the greatest and most important albums ever made. I don't trust anyone who listens to punk/hardcore/metal and does not listen to the Ramones. It indicates a lack of joy/whimsy.

Really 2.5. This is one of those records everyone says they love but doesn't actually hold up when you listen to it over and over again. Is Henry Rollins REALLY just blasting this in his apartment?

I've had every word of this album memorized since the day it came out. It is more or less perfect.
