Incredible instruments. Bass steals the show. Not a fan of the vocal style, but that is more personal taste than lack of artist ability.

Every song drags a little too long. They find a cool sound, but do nothing but repeat it. It felt like they didn't know how to close off their songs. Decent sounds, but lose their effect by running too long.

Takes me back to being a teenager. Fantastic album that finds a good balance between cutting chuggs and melodic, technical riffs. Perhaps not for everyone, but a clear winner for the genre.

Incredible singer. Her talent is likely to be generational. However, the tracks themselves are the musical equivalent of a stock image. I'm not familiar enough to know where this album fits in with her portfolio, but it struck me just how safe and samey each song was. Unfortunately, Adele's incredible voice was not enough to break the monotomy.

Always found Nine Inch Nails to be an aquired taste. I've heard the album a few times before, but it's only recently started to click. Unnecessarily pretentious at parts, but an undeniably important cog in the musical niche they've created.

I just don't get it? There was nothing musically impressive and the album just drones on. It's only saving grace is that it was over quickly.
