The Cars
The CarsEvery song on this album is a banger! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one.
Every song on this album is a banger! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one.
Loved this Album. Love Queen. Grew up listening to their greatest hits album. It was great listening to this album and reminiscing. I recognized/love most songs on this album, and my favorite unfamiliar song from this album was Tenement Funster; great upbeat track, replayed it a couple times.
Not a big fan of Bon Jovi, but I do appreciate this album and his music.
No surprise the third album on the list is another Queen album. Feel like this album has had just as much of an impact as Sheer Heart Attack. Fav song from this album is Seven Seas of Rhye, such a classic
Not too familiar with Isaac Hayes, and was pleasantly surprised with how good this album is. Not my typical style of music, but I love and appreciate all the instrumentals.
Not a fan of Green Day.. but this was probs their best album. Where is Offspring?!
Amazing.. no surprise this is on the list. Love the guitar (of course..), also all the melody/rift changes
First time listener.. I enjoyed the story telling and easy listening.
Fight the war, fuck the norm! Love the passion, love the Rage.. this album is one of a kind.
Sure.. I like blues/jam music. But this was a litter to silly for my liking.
The Smiths are an excellent band and very easy listening. Enjoyed listening to this album over the weekend while doing yard work.
Love Jack and his sister! Appreciate their genius in melody/writing. Unfamiliar with this album and I enjoyed listening/getting to know it.
Love Bowie! This was his last album before he passed, and you can hear/feel his decline on this record. Made me sad, but also such a beautiful album.. definitely not my favorite album of Bowies, but still enjoyed listening. Bowie is surely missed.
Yeah I’m good to never hear this band again in my life.
First time listener to Air.. and I dig it.
Pretty jammy
Despair reminded me of Western World theme song.. maybe there was some influence there. I’m very unfamiliar this album and band, and I enjoyed listening and am now a “fan”.
Brian Wilson is a musical genius! I feel the music of today would not be the same without his influence. Love The Beach Boys and thoroughly enjoyed listening. No surprise this album made the list.
Mannish Boy is an iconic song, with that guitar rift.. been duplicated by many. Good album, lots of jamming. I dig it.
The king has arrived! Gotta love Bruce.. and if you don’t, you’re not American!!
Love this album.. wish Lauren Hill was still spitting. Can’t believe the longest album so far is a rap album haha. Funny
Ya know.. I thought I was a fan of REM. But I guess I’m not.
Thoroughly enjoyed this album while working, even smoked a bowl to these sweet melodies. 10/10 would recommend
Beatles!! If you don’t like or appreciate the Beatles, you can get the fuck out.
Yeah I dig it.
If only I was near a body of water yesterday. Bob always reminds me of Lake Powell or the beach. You can’t help but sing along while listening. Love this album
I did not like this album/band/music.. Assuming “Bauhaus” was a big influence on “RadioHead”.. and I personally would rather listen to RadioHead for some “sad bastard” music.
Love Queens of the Stone Age. Unfamiliar with this album, and I enjoyed getting to know it.
This album reminded me of Coffee house music. Feel like I should’ve been sipping on an espresso while listening. First time listener of Nick and this album.. I enjoyed it and would be down to listen to more of Nick’s catalog.
Love David Bowie. I feel I liked the first Bowie album in this 1001 albums a little more though. Enjoyed listening to this one over the weekend. More Bowie please
I liked this one quite a bit.
I think I like the candy more than the band. Pretty chill vibes though. Loved the cover of the Beatles song, that was fun.
I see where Green Day got their influence.. too bad they’re not as good 😏 I feel like Frank Black was one of the original “punk” bands. It was a good listen, but some songs were a lil too much for me.
LCD is pretty ok by me. Easy listening, and made me groove a couple times.
J5 is the best! I’ve seen them live at Lollapalooza in 2001. Love this album! Definitely a classic in the hip hop genre. A lot of amazing features, too.
Bob Dylan is always good/easy listening.
Billy Joel is the best. I loved this album.
No vocals huh? I guess they don’t need em. Nice melodies. Not my cup of tee though
Love 2Pac. But I like All Eyez on Me album the most.
Love this album. A lot of bangers/classics.
Yea more Bob please
I liked this one. First time listener of the band/album. They remind of and sound a lot like Portugal but with more of an electric sound.. kind of like if David Bowie were the lead singer for Portugal. Does that shit make sense?? Either way. I dig it.
What the hell was this album!? Felt like I was being abducted.
I get all the hype.. Fiona is one of a kind. Wish I had some fine wine to sip on while dancing in my kitchen
Black Tongue was my fav song. Great album. Would listen again
Not a bad listen, but really couldn’t get into it. Good background music though
Love the Flaming Lips! Thoroughly enjoyed listening and look forward to more album like this, and from Flaming Lips
Listened to the first CD and most of the second.. it was hard for me to enjoy this one, not my type of music. 2hrs of grungy jams is a lot to get through in one day.. they should have gave us this album on a Friday.
I didn’t request “darker” but Leonard definitely brought it anyway. I was taken back at first but enjoyed it overall.
Really enjoyed this album. Lots of influence these guys had. I think all of the songs have been covered on this album. Great album!
Whoa guys.. is this how “scream-o” started? Not a fan.. volume was at 5 and it still hurt my ears..
Literally (one of) the OG. Listening to Ice T’s lyricism, is very reminiscent of my boy Marshall Mathers. Guaranteed Ice had some (if not a lot) of influence on young Slim and other mc’s. Big fan! How many copy rights did this man buy for this album..?! Sheeeeeeesh
This Album was just “ok”.. couldn’t get into it. Not my type of music
Every song on this album is a banger! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one.
Yeah ok.. I’m down with the Meat Puppets. Nirvana must’ve been somewhat influenced by these guys, cause I noticed they covered one of their songs. I enjoyed listening, but once again.. not really my “cup of tea”
Too “punk” for me. There were a few riff’s in there that I enjoyed though
Loved it. Fred has a smooth yet raspy voice. I could listen to this again. Roadtrip music for sure.
Amazing! Bravo! Such a classic.
The kings of riffs! I appreciate Deep Purple and all the influence they’ve had on all my favorite bands.
All I can hear in this album is “Shaft!”.. it was just ok.
Banger after banger on this album. I like ABBA, and forgot how good/influential they are. More albums like this, please :)
Didn’t get through it all. But enjoyed what I heard
Pretty solid album! Big and long time fan of Metallica! I would’ve replaced this with the “black”, Kill ‘em All, or Ride the lighting.. as far as how much influence they had on me, personally. Maybe we will see those albums later on. I love all of the orchestra versions of these banger's.. but can’t help comparing them to the original's and immediately wanting to hear the original over the renditions. 4 out of 5 rating for me.. cause you know, it’s fucking Metallica!! 💯🔥🤘🏿🤘🏻🤘
No need for me to review..as I am verify familiar with Trent and his beautiful melodies.
This music gave me anxiety. No bueno
If you don’t like Jethro Tull, you can get the fuck out!! Loved this album, a lot of bangers.
First time listener. Really enjoyed this one. Excellent beats and lyricism. I’ll be listening to more by Mike Ladd! Good album
Hello from the “larger” side!!! Great album, full of catch tunes and sweet vocals. This one brings back a lot of good adventure memories with the spouse. Big fan of Adele.
All I could hear is Good Will Hunting..
Great album. Love Bruce. What a patriot!
So hip, up beat. Whip it, whip it good.
You’d think this was her “best of” album, but nope.. just that amazing of an album! Love Aretha, and that fact her name sounds sexual..
This one brings back a lot of good memories. I like everyone of theses songs, but MAAD City is one of my top Kendrick songs. Big fan of Kendrick, and appreciate his lyricism and influence on the hip hop genre.
Not familiar but enjoyed listening.
Boy Named Sue is one of the best story songs! Love Johnny and this album
Yeah ok.. I dig it. Definitely an influential band for the Punk genre.
Wu-Tang Clan ain’t nothing to fuck with! Love Method Man, Redman, and the gang.
I would’ve enjoyed this album more if there were more lyrics than these wild beats.. but I dig Public Enemy
I recognized the album as soon as I saw the cover pop up. This is Johnny Cash’s last album before he passed, and what an outro! I love that he covers Nine Inch Nails and the Beatles. Beautiful renditions.
This was a pretty hectic listen. Kind of reminded me of Nirvana without Kurt.
Electrical.. first album not on Spotify. Had to listen via iTunes. Not bad
Pleasant listening. Very nice on the ears. Sounds like adventure the whole album. I dig it
Live jam album. Loved it.
Wow! They brought the funk with this album. I heard a lot of familiar beats, used by Kanye, Rage (had no idea Renegade was a cover!!), and I heard a lot of lyrics mimiced by other hip hop/rap artists. This album must’ve been a heavy influence on the hip hop seen. I think I have to give this 5 starts do all that.
Pretty chill vibes
Ok Steely.. I dig it.
The Clash is fantastic. Lot of good music comes out of London.
Love this album and Massive Attack
I don’t know how I feel about this one.
Pretty chill vibes
Musical genius. Been a fan of Jack since Highschool.
Banging album. Lots of hits.
The king! How can you not enjoy his sultry smooth voice?!
I surprisingly really enjoyed this album. Heart warming and catchy tunes, with a nice/random female vocals song in the middle.
Pretty chill vibes. Enjoyed listening to this album, and pretty easy on the ears :)
Rolling Stones is always a good listen. Pretty easy listening for this album.
I know Wonderwall was a big hit.. but I don’t understand why this album is on this list.
Loved it
Lyrical genius! Thoroughly enjoyed listening, and appreciate the heavy influence Raekwon has had in the Rap/HipHop genre.
How perfect for this to be dropped on a Monday.. with the first song being “Monday, Monday”!! Love this album. Definitely a classic. Easy listening and catchy tunes.
Not a big fan of Morrison.. but it was a good listen. I love live albums, but this was a lil difficult for me to get through and into.
Liked it.. didn’t love it.
This album brings back a lot of fond memories. Might be the best rap album released in the past 10yrs.. I love Kendrick. What an artistic thoughtful lyricists. You can hear his past pain and struggle in his rhythm and rhymes.
Electric masterpiece.
Couldn’t really get into this one. Reminded me of Bowie without the upbeat vibes.
This album reminded me so much of Empire of the Sun
Punk with some pop. I like it.
This was nice. No vocals, all instruments. Pretty easy listening, but didn’t tickle my fancy
