1001 Albums Summary

It's probably been about 5 years since I last listened to this album. In that time I've discovered that I love this era of music. The sound just really gets me, especially Grace Slick's vocals. Great album overall, White Rabbit goes so incredibly hard, but some of the other tracks didn't really stick with me.

I thought these guys did car ad music? I apologise White Stripes, I was not familiar with your game. This is one of those albums where I can see the vision but it isn't really what I'm looking for. Favourite track: Forever for her (is over for me)

2.5⭐ The thing I love about country music is how often the songs are just fun stories about chasing baddies and riding cool horses. Sometimes the songs are about shooting women though so ya know... Not my thing usually, but I can't deny that I enjoyed listening.

Not for me. I just find this kind of music a little boring. She's a fantastic singer, and I'm sure it's good for the genre, but if I have to give my own personal subjective opinion, I don't like it.

Fantastic album. First time listening to The Kinks, I love a good concept album. No real misses either, just an all around great album.

I don't love live albums by bands I don't absolutely adore. The upside is that it's basically a greatest hits for that era. It was perfectly fine, but I think I'd rather just listen to a Who album

I'm ashamed to say I only really know Lou Reed from Lulu, which means I only ever heard people speaking in a derogatory way about him. Incredible album, will definitely be listening to more.

I always love when an album like this has an absolutely banger opening and then the rest of the album sounds nothing like it.

This album probably sounds a lot better when you're not sick with a headache. I love songs that go from one extreme to another, the little piano and acoustic breaks between the industrial sound was great.

I was worried when I saw the cover but I live this type of indie music. Really good, made me feel things.

I have a soft spot for jazz, but it's not my favourite genre to listen to.
