In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jul 25 2024

Fucking biblical!

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jul 26 2024

The whole experience feels like a movie and I found myself loving every song. Though it dragged a bit by the middle with The Gumbo Variations but still, great record from a great musician.

Yeah, I didn't like it very much. The instrumentals in some songs sound actually powerful and "rebellious?", especially the guitars but I couldn't stand the vocals one bit and there's practically no bass to be heard in 99% of the songs (it's fucking Sid Vicious, of course). Yeah it's influential blah blah blah, but it's definitely not something made for me.

Blackstar by David Bowie

May one of the best rock musicians of the 20th century rest in peace.

Nick Of Time by Bonnie Raitt
Aug 01 2024

Boring, repetitive and horribly produced.

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Aug 04 2024

I apologize in advance for the shitty review but oh my god I fucking despise country. The shitty guitar strumming, the same chords over and over again, the same electric guitar arrangements, the same vocals, the same shitty lyrics (this mf literally opens up saying "pretty baby") and on top of repeating those factors over and over again in every song, you'll find them within every song, there isn't a single interesting change in any track, ever. The only times I actually enjoy country is when I played Fallout New Vegas and random 1950s country music would play in the radio with banger after banger (Johnny Guitar) or if I'm listening to CCR which are amazing.

Femi Kuti by Femi Kuti

It goes on for way too long and the songs get very repetitive but the music isn't bad. I really like the saxophone works and some of the instrumentals. I'd give it a 2.5 but I'm rounding it up to 3 instead of 2.
