This album is absolutely awful. Boring, repetitive, whiney, and cringey. The vocals are like nails on a chalkboard, and this is coming from a metalhead, who can justify all manner of screams, growls and off-key warbling. I can't ever think of a time when I would voluntarily listen to this. I like weird. I love The Residents album Duck Stab/Buster Glen. This? It's different but, not in a good way.
Not bad. I'm not a Neil Young fan. I don't like this album but, I understand why people do. Folk music, for me, gets boring and repetitive, and the same can be said about this album. I'm sure his lyrics are somewhat poignant, but the music isn't interesting enough to care.
I'm not a reggae fan. It's a bit repetitive. I used to work venue production and had to do a reggae fest. 10hrs of reggae is too much. But, as far as this genre goes, this is a nice album. I used to listen to this record in college so, right from track one, I'm reminded of smoking sessions, good people, and good vibes.
Every song sounds the same. I was bored by them in 2001. I'm still bored by them.
Beautiful sound but still not really something is find myself listening to in rotation.

I had not heard of Jeff Buckley before he died, and not until the mid 2000's when a new friend had said that this was his favorite artist. Immediately, I wrote it off as, "this pretentious prick loves a one-album nobody?" Thanks to this project, I finally gave it a listen and admit, I was wrong. Grace is wonderful. I don't typically listen to music similar to this but, I appreciate the tone and content. Soulful, ethereal, beautiful. I see myself popping this on periodically in the future.
The very best of Mom Jazz/Yacht Rock. Not really inspiring stuff. I remember my mother listening to this in the early 80s. As a kid, I didn't register how bad a singer Sade was. Now, I hear the flat notes, the constant corrections, and I'm in disbelief as to how she was considered a quality vocalist. Oh, she was gorgeous. Now I've got it.
I have always preferred The Who to the Stones. I feel like their music was just more interesting than that of the Rolling Stones. This live album, is wonderful. Great music with a great stage energy. Great stuff.
As far as, electronica, trip-hop, techno-pop goes, I'm sure this is a great record. It is not my thing. Each song becomes tedious until they finally end. I don't think I'll ever listen to it again.
Generic mid 60's, post-early Beatles pop. Not bad. I'd listen to it again but, I'd probably just put on Rubber Soul, instead.

I love this record, even though Drive became an insufferable radio hit. I still turn it off when it comes on, or skip when I'm listening to the album.
