This is "elevator" punk.

Classic Beatles.... even the "helmet" hairstyle is as is to be expected of a respectable rock band.

Works well as hangover cure.

Totally 80's juice.

Some nice and dreamy songs, but overall not that great.

I've enjoyed this for all the reasons mentioned in the reviews. I'll give it a 4*, not for the abum greatness, but for it being a testament to a bygone era.

I thought it wld be better, a bit disappointed.

I discovered Franz Ferdinand relatively late in they career, and I was NOT impressed. Really didn't understand what the "buzz" was all about. But now I get it..... It is because this is good shit! I'm not surprised that after an album like this group took off like crazy. This is awesome stuff, pure raw energy. Really, really good!

While not my favourite Radiohead album, it still has (long) moments of absolute awesomeness. I might be wrong and Knives out are the songs I liked the most. Morning bell/Amnesiac is a masterpiece.

This album meant a lot to me age 14 or 15, I really wanted to learn enough of the English language to understand what Caroline said.

A Czech friend made me discover this 29y ago, and it is still very good, there is so much happening in this music, it transports you places. I absolutely loved it! But, its not as good as I remembered it was. Hence, 4*.

Masterpiece.

This album means a lot to me. At a certain time I've listened to it probably 10k times.

Mostly boring.... some good baseline occasionally.

Actually, it's much more hard rock thank I remembered.

Acoustic punk. WOW.... Didn't know such thing even existed. It's awesome. Very punchy.

While "acoustic punk" works well, "rockabilly punk" does not

Nirvana ripp-off. Song #1 is the only one worth listening to, hence "2".

Raw energy, enjoyable re-listen.

Cosmic dancer is great, the rest not so much.

I've genuinely tried very hard, but I really don't enjoy anything from Artic Monkeys..... can't help it. It's visceral. The only exception is Mardy Bum, hence 2*.
