First rate. No sleeper songs. Good variety

Heard of Mr. Drake but never heard his music. Mellow jazz-folk works for me.

Earlier Eagles albums better. HC lacks the edge of On the Border, the freshness of the Eagles, and the heart of Desparado

Fine setup for Revolver & Sgt Pepper

The #1 headphones album of my youth! So many great songs. Forgot how awesome 1983 is. Jimi is still king of the wah-wah pedal.

Love Her Madly, LA Woman, & Riders on the Storm crush it. Now I wish I’d bought it back in the day. Loved The Doors first album

A couple of these guys also recorded with Boston Spaceships - I dearly loved their Let it Beard album.

Prefer OK Computer & the Bends, but this is fine Radiohead, too

First few cuts had heavy guitar to offset that voice, then not so much

My favorite cut was the Orc Battle Hymn - just kidding. Most cuts sound like Orc Battle Hymns. Disposable Heroes was interesting. Well-executed metal is still angry af music and just doesn’t appeal.

Good variety. Jack by himself or with Meg is far superior to Raconteurs

His album Jeff was stuck in my CD player for a long time. This is not as good. Rod Stewart vocals are distracting

Blew me away on first hearing and it still does

Back in the day I had a CD player in my office cubicle. I gave Charlie my supervisor Bright Eyes’ Digital Ash in a Digital Urn & I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning to have a listen. He came back the next day with OK Computer for me. That disc was stuck in the player for a long time! Still blows me away to this day, especially Paranoid Android. Charlie didn’t like Bright Eyes (too liberal for him, I’m sure), but he also loaned me Radiohead’s The Bends which is also quite good. Nate, another office music lover asked what I was listening to and responded “Figures!” when I said Radiohead. What a nice compliment
