Nevermind by Nirvana

One of the best raw rock album. On the level of physical graffiti and London calling. Obserdly catch vocals, powerful loud production, punchy drums, groovy bass and don't get me started on the guitars. This album made me love playing it for the first time. Kurt maybe is not one of the best guitars of all time but his ability to make a amazing and catchy riff is jaw dropping. Rest in peace

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Apr 09 2026

This shit was low-key depressing. The opening track really sets this album my beautiful with haunting sad lyrics and beautiful instrumentation. The second song in the album is the only one I think I'm not huge on yet but I'm sure it will grow on me. Listening to this was my first time hearing the song pale Blue eyes which was great and I really liked how it showed guilt throughout the song before the reveal at the end. I thought murder mister was also really good it sounds like revolution 9 wanted to be. the closing track was also pretty and depressing just like the first one. The album flows pretty well then a couple places which might be intentional. One problem with this album Is the order sounding production with the hard panning but it works really well on murder mystery when they use it properly. I think I would give this a strong 9.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Apr 10 2026

This was really cool. It had some great energetic guitar. Eddie has a great voice and made some amazing hooks. I really like The way the album was laid out. The first couple tracks been super energetic then some more mellow/baldy tracks it really made the album immersive. I think I'll need to listen to it paying more attention to lyrics but the songs that I was able to really comprehend the lyrics had great storytelling. This album was great and I think it'll just grow on me over time. I'll give it a Strong 7 to a light 8

Apr 11 2026

I found out that I was going to listening to Irish punk I was really excited to see what it would sound like. I was not expecting Pirate music. This album was pretty enjoyable especially in the early tracks. It had a lot of energy and sounded fun especially if it were to be live music. The one major problem with this album Is that it drags. I felt like I was done with it about 40 minutes in then I had another 30 minutes to go. That might be more of a problem with me though. I don't particularly enjoy the lead singer's voice although it did fit the music well. I don't know much about Irish history but this album has got me interested in learning about it threw the lyrics. I would give this album a strong 6 to a light 7

Blackstar by David Bowie
Apr 12 2026

What do I say. Let's start with context David Bowie is the goat.he is an amazing story teller and has an amazing ear for musicians. Making this project full vary dense. Whenever I'm listening to one of these songs I'll notice something new every couple seconds. On this album you can feel pressure threw the tones and production. This compliment with the lyrics with David Bowie grappling with the end. The complexity of the instrumentation also adds to it.Truly beautiful stuff. Strong 10.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Apr 13 2026

This album is great bailed after great bailed. Thats is no sprise because it Elton John after all. This could be a mr.flaw because of the repirishon but John keeps it interesting. I love the singles especially tiny dancer because it feels so nostalgic. Indian sunset is probably my favorite song on the album. The story telling on it is amazing and it has a cool song structure. It's vary emotional and told an important story. The closing track was also great and somber. I like how it can flow in to the first track. This hole album was vary theatrical. This album just made me feel good. I give this album a 8

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Apr 14 2026

Axis bold as love is a powerful and psychedelic listen. This is no sprise because it's a Hendrix record so it has his powerful and psychedelic guitar playing. The opening track is a cool skit with aliens invading a talk show with a cool use of station. The first real track "up for the skies" is a nice funky rnb. I'm not sure if it's the best opener for such an epic album but I am still glad it's on the album. I like the use of his icon waa pedal on it giving the track a smooth feel. I think the second track "Spanish castle magic" would have been a better opener because of how epic it sounds. I don't think the placement ruins the album or anything. The guitar and bass tones on this track are vary punchy and the riffs are vary exiting. The lyrics are super psychedelic and fun. The solo is impressive but the style is not quite my thing because I prefer more Melody based ones. "Little wing" is a butifal balide about a the felling of free spiritedness and loving. The guitar work is crazy on this song.I love the how effortless it sounds as if the guitar was playing it self. It's just an amazing song. One of the best on the album for sure and definitely deserves it's praise. The next track "if 6 was 9" is another one my favorites. You can definitely here we're Kurt Cobain was inspired by this song with the interlude. I like the guitar tone. Jimi Hendrix was a master at tone. The final track the self titled Is an amazing one and it has one of the greatest solos. It's moldic and epic this track is just amazing. This album is vary constant and entertaining threw out. I don't think there's a bad track. I'll give this album a strong 9

Stephen Stills by Stephen Stills
Apr 15 2026

I was not familiar with Stephen stills before this but I guess I have to see more of his stuff because this record was pretty good. The album cover made it seem more acoustic but this was a Great multinational album. It had great guitar solos and I like his voice. The lyrics on it were good especially the closing track. Over all I think this album is a strong 7

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Apr 16 2026

I don't know it was good I just don't really feel like reviewing it. I'm tired and it didn't really click with me I'll probably have to look good a few more times and I know it's the most popular one on the app but I don't know it's probably just a 7 for me.

Apr 17 2026

Ts was crazy. It sounded just like the album cover. I thought it had really cool production were every thing is punchy and distorted. Over all the songs weren't that consistent. I know it's a concept album but after listening to it I'm not really diving to dig deeper(I probably will at some point).I don't particularly enjoy the lead singers voice. The brum and bass on this are pretty good though. I'll give it a strong 6.

Graceland by Paul Simon
Apr 18 2026

I really enjoyed this album. I liked all the African and German influences on it. This album really used all the features well. I also think that the time period can really be herd on Graceland because of the 80 system production. I'll give it a 5 or6.

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips
Apr 19 2026

The soft bulletin was a very interesting record.

Microshift by Hookworms
Apr 22 2026

This exact album has been done better by many different artists. the opening track is cool and made me excited for the rest of the albums. Unfortunately most of the rest was bland and repetitive. Most of the songs were a drag.i feel like hookworms were trying to be unique It was more intensive than anything.some of the songs are way too long for what it was. It does not belong on this type of list. Strong 2 to a light 3

Scum by Napalm Death
Apr 24 2026

Great bass, amazing guitar, meaning lyrics, heart pounding drums and the worst vocals you've ever heard. I've ever heard what else could you ever possibly want.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Apr 25 2026

This album is very ronchy.amost fells like a old horror movie.

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Apr 27 2026

Pretty good but not nearly his best. Love the atmosphere and production

This definitely deserves to be on the list. One of the most important punk albums of all time creating the style and traditional sound. It can be pretty cliche at times though because lots of albums have copy that.

Ys by Joanna Newsom
May 01 2026

Not currently on Spotify if I find a fisicly copy I will listen

Dirt by Alice In Chains
May 05 2026
Pink Moon by Nick Drake
May 12 2026

Vary interesting finger style guitar but the vocals don't really do much for me not that they are bad or anything but over all I liked it because I am a sucker for folk music

Nevermind by Nirvana
May 16 2026

One of the best raw rock album. On the level of physical graffiti and London calling. Obserdly catch vocals, powerful loud production, punchy drums, groovy bass and don't get me started on the guitars. This album made me love playing it for the first time. Kurt maybe is not one of the best guitars of all time but his ability to make a amazing and catchy riff is jaw dropping. Rest in peace

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
May 18 2026

I'm not really in to electric music but I still got a decent bit out of this album

The Wall by Pink Floyd
May 19 2026

Great epic album but I feel like most of the pink Floyd albums from when it came out body it. I also prefer tommy.

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
May 24 2026

Good but I don't understand why it's on here over songs for the deaf

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
May 25 2026

I thought I would like this more. I in the past had listen to the opening track in the past and loved it but unfortunately this album has vary few songs on that level. The production and song writing rarely feel great at the same time. Both of witch have their moments but over all the production is just too much. Not that I hate this album it does have some great highs but overall it just felt like I was confused

May 27 2026

I loved this album.I thought the mid evil aesthetic was great and I liked in the first song how it almost changed to early metal.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Jun 03 2026

I'm not fully sure how I feel about this album some of the songs have amazing elements to them and some of the social comintary is on point but there are some parts of this album that are just bad. It committed to hard to the Beatles slander at point without any of the good elements of the Beatles. I don't know if that point makes sense but I just don't love or like this record. I feel like I want to give it a 3 but I also want to give it a 1 at the same time so a 2 it is .

I can't dance but it was still enjoyable

No Other by Gene Clark
Jun 10 2026

This went way harder than I thought country could. I think their was a lot of pink Floyd inspiration on it with all of the syths and guitars and it works perfectly. I love how atmospheric this record was.

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Jun 12 2026

To make this kind of music you have to be good at story telling

Jun 15 2026

Goblin music

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Jun 16 2026

One of the best live acts ever.

In The Wee Small Hours by Frank Sinatra
Jun 17 2026

I feel like I should give sinatra a 1 is unfair because he is so musically important but I'm going to because this shit was so boring and repetitive and unoriginal and has aged bad. Also he might have been in the Mafia and he beat and cheated on him wife.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Jun 18 2026

The 2 and last songs were good but everything thing else I didn't enjoy. I don't really like the dudes voice. All the solos were great. the drums were cool.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Jun 20 2026

I love her voice and the use of dynamics on this record

Jun 21 2026

Probably my least favorite post 65 Beatles but still one of the most important album in the past 100 years.it has someone of the Beatles best and most creative songs.

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Jun 22 2026

This dude seems like a fucking loser

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jun 23 2026

I hate most nu metal. I think that most of it sounds like white trash music .their are a few good artists from this shit genre, Linkin Park being one of them.

NEU! 75 by Neu!
Jun 24 2026

First track was great but the rest reminded me of the stuff my school would play when it was time to study

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Jun 28 2026

The songs are good but as a hole it could feel same same at points

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jun 30 2026

Possibly the best grunge album although I have only listened to the big ones

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Jul 03 2026

Can be a tad bit corny at times but it's fun as hell. I love you too percussion.

The White Album by Beatles
Jul 04 2026

Possibly the best Beatles album, that it may not be as consistent as some of their other work but it has some of the bands highest peaks. I would say about 1/2 of the songs are some of the best songs ever made Then some ok songs and two through aways.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Jul 07 2026

the best Beatles solo album? Yeah probably.

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jul 09 2026

Objective great. Well recorded and very historical important. Unfortunately I'm brain rooted so to me it's a bit boring. I just feel like it it's missing some rock.

Jul 26 2026

Soul Mining by The The
Jul 27 2026

I remember enjoying it but I don't remember a single bit of the music so I'm not sure how to feel

B-52's by The B-52's
Jul 28 2026

Really fun. The groves are great. The vocals are off putting I a good way. Over all a really good time

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 01 2026

I can't stop relistening to this, their are just so many musical and lyrical layers. I regret not listening to this soon. I'm adding this to my main music rotation for sure. It has so many different types of songs. Some of the ballads that might be my favorite ballads beating out some of the best of Sir Paul McCartney, it will take a couple days to now for sure and I will probably change my mind all the time.

Sincere by Mj Cole
Aug 02 2026

So boring it's painful. All of the other albums even if I didn't like them at least have so possible way of arguing they should be on the list but not this one.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Aug 04 2026

Vary loud and energetic but at it feels like Most of the songs shows all it has to offer immediately

The Bends by Radiohead
Aug 08 2026

Good but like most of Radioheads discography absurdly overrated

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Aug 09 2026

I don't like it but the system and theory the music is made with is different than western music

Aug 11 2026

This album is hella overrated. Kanye also became evil. I think their are some great songs but I don't know we're the line of separate art for the artist is. I love led Zeppelin even though Jimmy Page is a pedifile and I think that is probably worse than Kanye but being a Nazi is also pretty horrible.

Pornography by The Cure
Aug 17 2026

I love new wave and I think the cure is the best new wave band
