Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Aug 13 2026

Listened at work so it was mostly in the background. I didn't really hear any of the lyrics but it was overall fun to listen to and had a good vibe. This was also my first rolling stone record, I don't fully understand the hype yet but I can get why people like them. Probably like a 3/5 for me, could definitely change with a few more listens. Favourite Track: Didn't listen well enough to have one Favourite Lyric: Didn't listen well enough to have one

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Aug 14 2026

i am not looking forward to this... Yeah this was definetly not for me, id give it like a 1.5/5. i can see why other people would like it tho, he has a nice voice and good flow but i just cant get behind a some of the stuff here especially about the beating women and the sex in the interludes and stuff. i dont really like or listen to alot of rap music and this kind of reminded me why. I did think some of the songs had good storytelling tho like the one where he was robbing something and the beats were pretty good overall. I am glad i listened tho.

The Clash by The Clash
Aug 15 2026

they’re so British holy I think this is my first punk record…tbh idk what defines this genre Ok so I didn’t mind it, it’s not something I would return to tho. I liked the electric guitar stuff and that was about it. The guys voice was ok it kinda got annoying after a bit and I didn’t really care for any of the lyrics like BACK IN THE GARAGE (with heavy British accent on garage) Um overall not my thing 2/5

Aug 16 2026

I think this is my first soul record I enjoyed this! I loved all the horns and the guys voice had a nice grit to it. There were a couple songs that had arrpeggios throughout which annoys me but I would definitely listen to it again 3.5/5

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Aug 17 2026

I liked this one! The instrumentals were good and there was a good variety from rock songs to acoustic piano ballads. The only thing for me was the guys voice was kinda annoying but that would probably go away after a few listens. I would listen again. 3.5/5

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Aug 18 2026

ooh first mj record.... I liked this! I'm probably more biased because ive heard alot of these songs before and the more i hear something the more i like it usually. But yeah this was really fun to listen to, i didn't notice any ''hee hee"s tho. This was a good time and i would definitely listen again 4/5

Pump by Aerosmith
Aug 19 2026

after reading the reviews…I’m scared. I really hope there’s no sex interludes this time After listening to the first track I like the vibe. I feel like it would be fun to sing along to if the lyrics weren’t just about sex tho. Okayyy tbh I liked this one, I enjoyed all the electric guitar parts and one of the songs had a really pretty intro that suprised me and I really wished the song continued like that 😭. I think I would listen again but I would definitely have to be in a specific mood. Probably either a little sad or REALLY happy. 3.25/5

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Aug 20 2026

why is this album 2 and a half hours long :( about halfway through and im enjoying it so far. idk if its bc im not listening close enough but their vocals kinda sound like the beatles in some songs. actually nvm NOW im halfway through.... theres so many british rock bands in this list holy. omg finally done...the more i listened to this album the more i didnt like it. I enjoyed it at the start but about halfway through i started to get sick of it. Also the closer i listened to it the more i didnt like it either. I feel like it doesn't really stand out from any of the other british rock stuff ive listened to. The cover of the album is pretty tho and im sure there are some songs i would like if i listened to it more but i don't want to listen to this album again and hear I CAN BE YOUR SMOOTHIE (i think thats what it was saying). If it was just like the first 12 songs i wouldve given it a 3/5 but now im giving it a 1.78/5.

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Aug 21 2026

after reading the reviews im excited for this one ooh yeah my soul feels buttered after this one. I think this is my favourite so far off of this list. I loved all the strings and the grandiose feel of the album especially the 1st and 3rd tracks. The 2nd one was good but didn't stand out to me and the last track was half spoken word but it told an interesting story which i enjoyed. I also liked the fact that it was only 4 tracks but the total run time was like 45 minutes or something, which really gave each song time to develop its own unique feel. Yeah definitely the best so far, would 100% listen again, 4.75/5

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Aug 22 2026

ooh ive been meaning to listen to Sufjan Stevens!! im super excited for this this album felt magical it was incredible. I loved all the strings, horns and piano and his voice was beautiful. I can't wait to listen again and focus on the lyrics. Though the album cover is of the city, this one definitely felt like being in an open field just before sunset. I'm happy this list is finally giving me some good shit, 4.75/5

Elastica by Elastica
Aug 23 2026

once again…so British I almost can’t understand what they’re saying. also the first song had these like burping noises which was definitely a choice😭 and the last song saying ‘if you’re stuck like glue give me some Vaseline’ or something like that I don’t think I would listen to it again, it’s not really my vibe kinda similar to the other British groups on this list. I was happy that we finally got a female singer tho. Maybe I would like it with more listens but I doubt it. I also think that the vocals were kinda drowned out by all the other instruments and could’ve been more upfront in the mix. overall like 2.1/5

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Aug 24 2026

Ok…whoever made this list is definitely British There are a lot of interesting electronic sounds on this album. I liked how the first track built by adding in different instruments gradually and most of the tracks are instrumentals, my favourite of which was lever street Overall not too bad but it’s definitely not my vibe, I probably wouldn’t listen again 2.6/5

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 25 2026

Old friends has stunning strings omg I especially like the transitions from track to tracks This was good! I liked the first half concept album part the best though the latter half did have some good tracks like A Hazy Shade of Winter. I only wish the whole thing was more related to the concept album, I feel like it could’ve been more fleshed out, especially since it was only 15mins of a 30 min album. But yeah I liked it and would listen again, 3.75/5

Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub
Aug 26 2026

ooh this one’s Scottish apparently Man I wish they had more strings on December, the little string parts that were there were so pretty I really like their bass lines tho and the songs are pretty catchy. Overall that was good, I think I’ll have to listen to it at least one more time to know if it’s something I’d want to return to. Really catchy songs though I was suprised. Overall, 3.3/5

Trio by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

women finally😭 Crazy coincidence that I’m getting this just after Dolly passed away (rip), but I’m very excited for this 2 seconds in and omg their voices are beautiful and mesh so well together I loved that, all three of their voices are incredible on their own but when they sing together and harmonize it’s freaking stunning. That combined with all the guitars and fiddles made something that was right up my alley. Especially for the country music genre. I would 100% listen again 4.66/5

Aug 28 2026

I didn’t mind this, I haven’t listened to a lot of funk or jazz records before but i enjoyed some parts more than others, I liked his style of singing, the horns and the groove of the songs but some of the sounds that are maybe bass or percussion? I’m not sure but there were some sounds that just don’t really sound good to me. Maybe that would change with a few more listens but I don’t think this would be something I would return to. I am glad I listened tho, 3.33/5

Is This It by The Strokes
Aug 29 2026

uhhh interesting album cover…I have been meaning to listen to the strokes tho I really do not like how the vocals are so muted I can barely hear what he’s saying 😭 ok I really like all the electric guitars especially on the modern age, barely legal, and hard to explain. I would enjoy these songs so much more if it didn’t sound like the recorded the vocals, put it on a cd, put the cd in a barely functioning cd player and then played the cd as everyone played their instruments, recorded that and then used it as the final track Yeah I’m conflicted on this one. On one hand I love the instrumentals of the songs and on the other the vocals bother me so much. I don’t even know if I would want to listen again, maybe I would get used to how his voice sounds after a few listens but idk everything else was great tho 2.51/5

Damaged by Black Flag
Aug 30 2026

I don’t think this is gonna be for me based off of the first track repeating ‘rise above we’re gonna rise above’ for 2 minutes yeah this is not for me…I don’t like the guys voice and I don’t really care for the instrumentals of this one either. And on the last track it sounded like the singer was throwing up for like 30 seconds. Tbh this is the first album on this list where I really don’t see why it’s on this list at all. Maybe there’s some historical context I’m missing cause it was release in 1981 but regardless this was not something I enjoyed. 1.2/5

Entertainment by Gang Of Four
Aug 31 2026

very British again… Tbh this one really didn’t stand out to me. I listened to it while on a run and the whole time I wished I was listening to something that I liked lol. It wasn’t bad though but everything about it was just meh to me. I couldn’t remember a single song if you put a gun to my head. I’m beginning to think the punk genre is not for me (suprise). There were some nice bass lines though I think and the drumming was good, I would not listen again. 2.3/5

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Sep 01 2026

This album cover is pretty neat Man I wish I listen to THIS on my run omg I loved this. There was a good balance of upbeat rock songs, some slower songs and even a piano ballad or two. His voice was great and paradise by the dashboard light featured a women whose voice meshed incredibly well with his. I also loved how piano forward this record was with it being featured prominently on alot of the upbeat songs and not just on the slower ones. I feel like piano is mostly used for slower songs these days which is fine but a fast, upbeat piano can be so fun and it goes well with like every instrument including electric guitars. Anyway I loved this, would definitely listen again and I hope there’s more of this guy on the list. Apparently this is like one of the best selling albums of all time and I see why, it was so fun to listen to, I had a great time. 5/5

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Sep 02 2026

I was due for another rap record… This one was kinda boring tbh, it really just sounded like the guy was talking the whole time, I didn’t really care for his flow. The beats were fine but not really my style and his lyrics were pretty meh, just a lot of I’m the best, my rhymes are so good, I’m so smart. Tbh even with the sex interludes I liked the other rap record Ive listened to so far better bc at least that was interesting. I would not listen again, 1.25/5

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Sep 03 2026

Man 2 rap albums in a row?? Dude Oh this wasn’t really rap at all. For some reason it wasn’t available on yt music so I had to go on yt to find. I liked it though, it was fun! I will say the beats did get a bit repetitive but the members of the group brought a really nice energy and it was just generally fun to listen to. Idk if I would listen to it again purely bc it’s not on yt music. Probably a 3.1/5

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Sep 04 2026

I think this is the first metal one…my eardrums aren’t ready. Ok so um first song in he says the N word and he’s not black so this automatically gets 0/5. But I can’t give it that so it gets a 1. I actually can’t believe this album is on the list I didn’t mind the music that I heard but still.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Sep 05 2026

This is the first album to have an average rating of over 4 so I’m pretty excited for this Ok so this is Rolling Stones #1 metal album of all time? I’m not a metal person so maybe I don’t get it but I don’t why this is like the best. I liked some of the guitar licks and the guys voice wasn’t too annoying so it definitely wasn’t bad but I really don’t think this is for me. I’d say it was fine, I’m suprised it was at the top of any list but maybe I would like it with more listens….though I probably won’t listen to this again. 2.4/5

Sep 06 2026

Bruh another album that’s not available on yt music😭 FRIED ICE CREAM IS A REALITY Whoever sang into you has such a nice deep voice I love it. That was good, I enjoyed it! The guitar solos were nice and I liked the vocals and grooves. I wish this was on streaming so that I could’ve added stuff to my playlist but bc I have to go out of my way to listen to it I probably won’t return to it. There were a couple boring tracks that I think it could do without especially cause it was almost an hour. Overall 3.34/5
