i'm summoning ALL the patience my body has to offer, i WILL listen to this in its entirety. well it payed off around 4 minutes into the first song so that's great haha this is much more my thing. second song is going to be a banger can tell from the start. i love this so much lol this is so exciting. the title track is great too ugh. i got curious about the lyrics but i'm having trouble finding translations :( i'm used to listening to music in languages that i don't understand but lyrics are normally more easily available D: found rough translations for a couple of songs so that's better than nothing. vocals aside, the last two tracks sound way more like my idea of music from the 80s lol they're pretty different from the rest of the album. well i'm done, i enjoyed this a lot and i saved pretty much all songs so i'll probably just come back to the album.

Started off really nicely this could totally be my thing. Oh yep I’m into this. Well after 4 songs I’m still liking it but kind of had my fill lol I don’t mind one song to change things up but an entire album is a little too much. I still think I’m enjoying it. It’s just instrumental apparently. Well this was nice it’s a 3.5 for me but can’t have that so it’s a 3 for the annoying bootleg ending lol.

Not liking this so far. Dont really like the sound, dont like the lyrics (dislike them aesthetically and the overall message), dont like the dudes voice. Its like U2 but even worse. sorry if they precede them im sure theres good reason theyre in the list but i cant get into this it sounds generic, maybe it wasnt at the time of release but i actively dont care about this. was very annoyed while listening and it was difficult to get through.

Some songs in the middle sound nice: war on war, jesus etc, ashes of american flags, im the man who loves you, pot kettle black. A 2 cause the songs/parts of songs i dislike i dont absolutely hate. I can say i like some parts of it but i wouldnt even replay those songs i mentioned to reconsider. Some of those parts i like remind me of some chill parts in rainbows which obviously came out later. Maybe a 2.5? Eh.

super pleasant ah. brazilian singer fits right in, he participated in the songwriting for like half the songs too im too lazy to look up more though thats just whats on the spotify credits say. his singing alone is a nice addition. honestly i have to say its not my thing at all but i really liked it, sounds really nice and i can see myself coming back to it when in a particular mood lol maybe. only thing i don't like is the occasional ding ding ding sounds that someone's making??? is it antonio doing that orrr?? the two last tracks are interesting, normally i dont want to listen the same song twice in the same album but this is just short bits stitched together maybe i kind of lost track at some point but i was enjoying still, felt like little behind the scenes moments. but each day when she walks to the sea she looks straight ahead not at me the entirety of 'if you never come to me' and maybe 'how insensitive'

i love live albums. nice music, nice voice, goes really well with the last album i got lol (sinatra & jobim). it got a bit boring at some point and its not even long? but it was nice.

ok better be good cause its the longest album i got so far lol. reissue is not on spotify but og album has all songs minus the bonus track so i could look that one up on youtube if i care enough. its whatever so far. dont hate it yet. its nice enough bg music at least, there's enough variety in sound and song themes that im not bored yet. im surprised im okay with it still 8 tracks in. no standout songs though, maybe stroke it noel. nature boy, till the end of the day, dream lover was a nice 3 song streak. looked up the bonus track on spotify it was on a different comp album or something. its the most different song to the others i actually prefer the album without it. i kinda liked the album overall? not sure id go back to it but i did save the tracks i mentioned.

i know a couple of their popular songs and i like dazed and confused. from this tracklist i only know immigrant song. which is so short btw. doesnt do much for me. second song: meh sound and i dislike the lyrics. synth at the end was delicious. LOOOOVE how it carried over into the next song. i like 'celebration day' a lot better in all possible ways. song fades out which is okay but ill be thinking about the previous transition forever. OH i do know this song too ('since ive been loving you'), love it. nice. love a long intro when its this good. next song is good too it was just the second song really that i didnt care about and even then the ending was cool. overall album is very listenable cause i like chill rock songs but i dont think its all that. didnt blow my mind but its good and perfectly enjoyable. i added 'since ive been loving you' to my playlist for songs over 7 plus minutes :)

It’s about time I listened to nirvana I think. From this track list i know Smells like teen spirit and Come as you are. I quite like both so I have pretty high expectations. SLTS is a banger. Album name drop :o nice. Second track is still a vibe. Omg are they dissing a certain type of fan or am i reading it completely wrong. Could just be about being immature i guess. If this album continues like this it might be a 5 im really into it. Second gun mention. This album goes a lot harder than i thought it would. Lithium is a bit meh. Some more questionable lyrics in Polly. First 4 tracks were really strong. Following 3 were whatever. Drain you is trying hard to be gross but it's okay, i still like it and its lyrics. All songs give me something to think about so that's cool whether i like them or nah. Lounge act is okay. Stay away was ???. LOVE Something in the way, im obsessed with his barely audible singing for the verse. The second half of the last song is really nice. Ah I'm really glad i listened to this album, at times i really loved the lyrics, might give it another listen just for that. About the sound, its okay, not what im normally into but its pretty accessible for someone who doesnt like a heavier sound, harsh vocals here and there but they're not the norm.

funny cause i listened to this recently after i read that it was an inspiration for pet shop boys' 'behaviour' which was also on the list and i kinda liked. i listened to violator twice and i'm liking it even more on this third listen. the hits are amazing but sweetest perfection is the best song here. honestly there are maybe 2 meh songs but im giving it a 5 cause of the replay value, i like it more with every listen.

first song: not awful, but boring. ofc i recognize the second song. always fun to listen to slurs in hit songs. third song is another popular one. fourth song: ive heard this one too, and its the first one i like. saxophone is so good. fifth song is okay too, almost like a lullaby. sixth song is pretty nice, wasnt expecting this reggae feel lol. this album must be super popular because i feel like ive heard most of these songs on the radio. dont care about the seventh track. eight song is okay. lets see if the title track is good or nah. i wasnt feeling the buildup but it turned out okay kinda. well im done. it was okay i guess, didnt feel strongly about anything here, didnt love or hate anything.

oh this is exciting, i like happy house from them. not impressed by the first track, i like her voice though. i like the second song better. third song is okay too. well i'm done. night shift was my fave track. overall it sounded good kinda but i didnt love it.

should've expected the scream from the song titles/album art. fuck them though! 32 short ish songs, streaming game on point. 'fuck shit up' is my new anthem. so funny. they were just doing whatever. from then on it's just boring rock songs with a little something different but not even close enough to be interesting. until sticky when it gets a little fun again. this was kind of a chore to listen through but whatever.

nice album art. music is exactly what I'm into but I'm not digging her voice/delivery. not into the lyrics either. her voice reminds me a bit of miley cyrus, or the other way around i suppose, especially during 'the ballad of lucy jordan'.

i wasn't sure about the first song, then i liked the second one but thought "yeah of course i mean it's the hit" but then the third song was super nice too. well i'm done, honestly i just let this played and greatly enjoyed it, i don't have a lot more to say.

an okay start. look at me liking country (?). kinda sounds like the toy story song around 0:50 lol. okay so this happened: heard the n word, thought huh were slurs THAT acceptable in the 70s he said it so casually too, clicked on his profile and bam he made the toy story song. it's been less than 2 minutes. second song started. OH so are all songs going to remind me of toy story lol. things are mostly going over my head probably as i'm not that knowledgable in american history to get most references. a ballad now. ugh i'm bored. songs are pleasant enough but i can't wait for this to be over. at least it's shorter than you'd think given the amount of songs. it's always fun to see certain parameters align with today's trends, like song lengths here, these short songs are perfect for the streaming era lol. what the hell is naked man about lol. bizarre. it's the closest thing to a pop song so far too. well it's over, it was a bit of an interesting listen but i'm not coming back to this baybe.

i don't have high expectations looking at the tracklist. first song sounds okay. second song: can't ever stand clapping in songs, wonder why that is. well, i'm done. there wasn't anything special about this album. nothing stood out. but it wasn't awful so, a 2 it is.

singer kiiiind of sounds like the panic at the disco guy lol. oh can't stand it when they sing in unison. music sounds okay, repetitive though. i'm bored.

not into this first song at all. tracks 2-4 were okay, they sound so lifeless though. the tracks that lean more heavily into the country sound are not for me at all. 'triad' is the best song here, the only song where i can feel a little bit of emotion. 'i don't really see why we can't go on as three' oookay poly king.

hmmm. i don't know what to make of this intro. it was nice enough, let's hope the singer's voice doesn't disappoint. oh second song starts out even nicer. his voice is okay! real nice and imperfect. oh i love this song so much already. "rising up and taking back, the property of every man" uhhh lol. third song: oh so this album wants to be a 5, i see. love the instrumental tracks so far. loving the feature in 'the paris match'. oh i do not like 'a gospel' this will be a 4 after all. also dislike the 'strength of your nature'. the the last couple of tracks are better but not mind blowing like the first seven.

title track brings back memories of playing guitar hero in like 2007 or 2008. this song is so good. look at the gap in streaming numbers between this song and the other album tracks. on song number 2, yeah this is perfectly listenable for me. singer's voice is super nice and music is interesting enough to keep me interested*. song 3 has so many little things i love and cool switch ups and it kind of sounds like a song from a musical lol. oh next song does as well. oh it's just an interlude. lyrics aren't that idiotic or if they are, fittingly so, i'm satisfied. i'm having a great time actually. i was in a little bit of a weird mood but thankfully this album was a lot of fun so it wasn't affected by that. it's also nice and short. it's an easy 4 baybe. *rereading before posting, i'm leaving that sentence as it is to show how tired i am haha

this is exciting. i've liked her features in songs and i know her hits obviously but i don't know how an entire album of her will go, tons of features i see. first second of music and i'm into it lol. on the second song. take a shot every time someone rhymes missy and pissy. song sounds great though. i'm about halfway through now, i love the vocal layering. okay i'm done. my fave songs were friendly skies, best friends. a really nice listen.

this is my third time trying to listen to this, let's see if i make it past the second song this time. plan 9 channel 7 was the only song i kinda liked.

interesting title, this is going to be political isn't it lol. nice intro. really nice voice. oh second song's awesome too, this is going to be a 5 easily. 'if you want a good life, best look into yourself'. interesting lyrics, pretty straightforward messages but you could probably tune them out if you're not really paying attention, he sounds so calm all throughout. it's a good balance then i guess. also i love the song lengths, they feel fully realized, hate when songs that sound good end too soon or go on for too long and become diluted, here they're perfect. it was a very satisfying listen all in all. i guess the album could feel a little bit samey but it's just over half an hour long and the variety in song themes makes up for it. first three songs were my favorites but they're all pretty good. it ended it up not being quite a 5 cause 'jesus' did nothing for me but really good otherwise.

got berlin some time ago. first song: still dislike his voice. music is not awful but it does nothing for me. really, really want to emphasize how much i dislike his voice and monotonous delivery. on the second song now and i appreciate when he sings a little bit louder with a little more power cause at least it's giving something, can't stand his murmuring. 'walk in the wild side' is surely a song, seems like the most popular one but i can't say i've ever heard it. huh 'satellite of love' sounded familiar, there's a remix that i still hear on the radio. i do like the remix so kudos to him for providing the base for it, hopefully it can be on spotify someday. so, i'm done. really don't dig his lyrics, which i guess is the main appeal for ppl that do like this. it gets a 2 solely because of satellite of love.

nice start. *takes notes* apparently the dj's name is premier and this dude's the guru. well so far it's exactly what i expected from the intro + year this came out. i like this well enough. i'm on song 3 and i'm bored already help. 'you puny protozoa'. this whole song is too much. he's not like the other rappers. 'strangely enough i've been struck, affected by her smile' lmao. it's a short thing but my fave track was 'say your prayers'. other than that one i liked 'precisely the right rhymes'. i'm most likely not coming back to this record but his lyrics were fun, the music was boring though. 2.5.

hmmmmm idk that i'm gonna like this. ugh music is okay but his voice annoys me. i don't think these guys know how abortions work. i do like how fast paced the song is though. honestly while i don't like the sound so far (on song 3 rn) it's quite entertaining at least. can't be awful and boring both. i really dislike his tone though, or is it his accent that bothers me. so whiny. the lyrics are taking me out. 'problems': i like the lyrics, there's songs with the exact same subject matter across all decades, funny how we're/life is always about the same stuff. the f slur used to be so popular in music. i don't feel like i've been hearing it that much in the last decade as i have since i started listening to albums from this list. did they finish up the album with a fart sound, and here i was considering giving this a 3. music was okay though repetitive, his vocal performance i disliked but at least it was interesting, lyrics were fun. so, not as awful as i thought it would be initially but i can't say my brain enjoyed this. it's like a movie that's kinda interesting maybe but it looks bad.

this is long but hey it's music i'm kinda into so i'm good. on song 2 and it seems like it's going to be pretty varied. 'i love you so much it hurts' perfectly captured the feeling of falling in love. songs so far are just lovely. my soul feels soothed. i'm afraid i got bored about 8 tracks in but it's still super pleasant music lol. it's good background music i imagine they played this at like fancy restaurants and events lol. i didn't dig as much the tracks that lean more heavily into country territory. but it's whatever, not the worst thing ever. adds more variety at least. the heavenly choir started to get a little annoying somewhere in between 'i'll never stand in your way' and 'make believe' lol. thank god it was about to end. in smaller doses and w/o paying it my utmost attention, this is gorgeous music. as most almost 2 hour long albums, it'd be better if it was 40 minutes long with just the best songs lol. 3.5.

i'm summoning ALL the patience my body has to offer, i WILL listen to this in its entirety. well it payed off around 4 minutes into the first song so that's great haha this is much more my thing. second song is going to be a banger can tell from the start. i love this so much lol this is so exciting. the title track is great too ugh. i got curious about the lyrics but i'm having trouble finding translations :( i'm used to listening to music in languages that i don't understand but lyrics are normally more easily available D: found rough translations for a couple of songs so that's better than nothing. vocals aside, the last two tracks sound way more like my idea of music from the 80s lol they're pretty different from the rest of the album. well i'm done, i enjoyed this a lot and i saved pretty much all songs so i'll probably just come back to the album.

this is the newest album i've gotten since lorde's melodrama (2017) about 80 albums ago, so that's exciting. really liked the first song. i kinda forgot to write here, i was vibing, i liked this record lot. i loved all the features. i didn't looove his voice but it works just fine here, and i disliked some lyrics.

second outkast album for me (but this one's older), i liked the other one well enough but it was way too long. really liking this first song 'gasoline dreams'. okay this album's going to be a 5 lol. it's amazing so far. snappin & trappin sounding a bit disjointed, but i kinda like it anyway. killer mike was awesome i love you killer mike. okay i'm done, fave songs: gasoline dreams, so fresh so clean, B.O.B. great album, i'm giving it a second listen rn, snappin & trappin just clicked for me so that's cool.

looking at the tracklist, 'it's the falling in love' is a fave of mine and it has the least streams lol. i wonder if i've listened to all these songs on the radio or smth, let's see. never cared abt the first track. 'rock with me' is probably my favorite single of his. idt i've heard most tracks before. well i'm done, songs new to me were either meh or just fine, except 'i can't help it' which was really nice. fave songs: rock with you, i can't help it, it's the falling in love. idk i feel like it's really good but it didn't do that much for me.

about time i listen to a prince album. looking at the track list idt i know any of these songs. lyrics are insaaane in this first track. didn't love the sound though. loved the last minute or so of 'play in the sunshine'. 'the ballad of dorothy parker' is the first song i like the sound of. really nice. 'slow love' is okay. some songs are annoying, like 'hot thing', and others do nothing for me like 'forever in my life'. i'm bored. i had to look up who was singing 'if i was your girlfriend' it's just prince pitched up lol. 'adore' is so cute. well i'm done. pretty good i think. didn't love a lot of the songs but even those weren't awful and the good ones were pretty great.

i don't know if i can do this album tonight, let's see. this first song is pretty good once it actually starts. i love the weird noises/interruptions in the second song <3 i liked 'the garden...' within 5 seconds lol. i've been loving the lyrics so far ah. huh who's this man. every song is doing something different, 6 songs in i've no idea what's to come next. 'where is yesterday': lyrics are so good, melodies are so good, the harmonies, the eerie vibe, everything i love. track 10 was a journey lol. 'no love to give' is the only song i don't totally love so far. track 13 is pretty much the same as track 5 but they switch singers, idc about different versions of the same song. well i'm done. the songs that i love make me want to give this record a 5 lol they're that good. it would be a 5 if the album was only tracks 1-11, around 40 minutes long, way tighter.

the breathing at the beginning of 'i want you now' is one of the worst things i've ever heard. everything else has been marvelous so far. i loved Pimpf especially. the following track was instrumental too i think? i kinda zoned out from that point onwards, didn't even realize when it ended lol. but i enjoyed myself a lot.

the intro was nice. doubt i will be into this but hey it's 39 minutes long so it gets all my attention. okay i actually am into this first song. his voice is sooo nice. okay songs 2 and 3 were nice too. i wasn't crazy about 'fly' and the title track. everything else i enjoyed.

meh. did these guys pioneer cringe edgy lyrics lol. 'i'll stick it deep inside cause i'm loose' huh. i liked 'tv eye', though it made little sense to me. fourth track is okay as well, it's just the first two tracks i wasn't into, either that or i got into this record as it went, so i'll give this another listen to reevaluate. it's a short album anyway. i'm having so much fun now. i feel like this could very easily be grating but it's not annoying at all to me even with all the repetition and the screaming. i'm just in the perfect mood for it apparently. 3.5.

my second sonic youth album! ooh this started out great. still don't like this dude's tone and vocal performance lol. tracks 3 and 4 were pretty great. at times this music is cool but never enjoyable lol as intended i guess. lyrics are cool too, especially the entirety of 'stereo sanctity' and 'pipeline/kill time' and "i'm wasted in time and you're never ready" in some other song. but i can't get into the vocals.

1998! i'm quite liking this. i was going to unwind (after a long day and too much driving) listening to megan thee stallion but this works too. didn't like the last three tracks.. i'll comeback to this album for tracks 1-7 which were amazing. my brain's too fried to elaborate.
