1001 Albums Summary

Really enjoyed this album. The instrumentals and the progression is nice to listen to. Can't say I enjoyed any of the original tracks more than the others. The 'alternate' version and extras on the deluxe album were not as good as the three before them. Not a massive fan of the vocals but all the interesting stuff in the background makes up for it.

track 4 was alright, rest was meh for me.

Generic. All tracks sound the same and have the same feel. I had listened halfway and was hoping it was gonna be over cause I was so bored. Honestly cant highlight anything.

The vocals and how they were used with the music was nice. Enjoyed most tracks.

Going into it I didn't think I would enjoy it but they already had me on the first two tracks. The songs 'Poison Arrow' and 'The Look Of Love' stood out to me.

The opening was interesting and then it fell of hard. 'The Light' was good but it's followed by 'Funky for You' and 'Questions' that are probably my least liked tracks. Sometimes the instruments just cuts completely and it doesn't feel like there is any flow to justify it. Multiple times I had to check if a new song was starting or they just decided to change up everything in the middle of the song. This would have been a 3 for the often chill instrumentals and pleasant voice. Instead the bad tracks and repetitive beats takes it down to a 2 for me. Not a fan of the weird homophobic lyric either but I guess its 2000's murica'. This comment is almost as drawn out as the album.

I didn't enjoy this that much. Its just alright. Maybe if the vocals and drums were better.

Alright to listen to, didn't really jam to it or hate it.

Pretty good. Nice vocals and lyrics. Don't think any track stood out but they were all above average to me.

Did not enjoy that much since its boring. It's well made but didn't stop me from snoozing.

Not something I would listen to otherwise but it is well done. Some tracks were a bit boring to me.

Good album, I liked it a lot. Very close to something I would love but doesn't hit all the marks.

When I set aside the impact and 'being the first to do X', judging it purely on what I hear. It's alright, maybe I expected more.

Long chill jazz songs and pleasant sounds, good listen. The final song slaps even if its a children's song :-)
