Abbey Road by Beatles
Jan 25 2023

Good for an afternoon at home.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jan 27 2023

Pretty unremarkable. Sure it was good for the time, but I’d be fine never listening to it again.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jan 29 2023

Forgot about this band- great stuff, really like the vibes

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Feb 04 2023

Not bad! Easy listening 70s funk enjoyed on a cold snowy day.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Feb 05 2023

Hated the first several songs. Second half had some cool sounds, especially on bass. Still don’t love the singers voice, but you know, les claypool was a not great either. Idk felt a little too chaotic in some parts but overall a great composition.

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Feb 06 2023

It’s alright

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Apr 02 2023

Horribly annoying

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Apr 03 2023

Phenomenal - how have I never heard of this man? Very chill bluesy type vibes.

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Apr 08 2023

I like the vibe, but not the voice. It’s alright I guess. Kelsey liked this one.

Roger the Engineer by The Yardbirds
Apr 25 2023

Not bad. Held back by recording equipment of the timr

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.
Apr 26 2023

More political than I expected, lol. Beats are okay, lyrics are okay, but I mostly just appreciate what these guys did for hip hop. You can hear the sounds of a different time in their voices and inflections. I think it’d be cool to remake this album with modern sound tech and design.

More Specials by The Specials
May 01 2023

It’s like the Beatles went to the beach lol

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
May 06 2023

The only album I’ve turned off. How boring and bland. Trash tier music

Face to Face by The Kinks
May 09 2023

Great example of 60s music that doesn’t suck. Enjoyed the listen. More up my alley than the Beatles, i think

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
May 10 2023

Hated it. I think there was one song where instrumentation was okay, but it was ruined by Bruce’s voice. It’s not bad, just boring and not for me.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
May 18 2023

This was fantastic! What a pleasant surprise! It’s like industrial piano / avantgarde-adjacent / spoken word.

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
May 19 2023

Played this while prepping some snapper for dinner so I didn’t get to listen as actively as I normally would - but I love the doors. I’ve listened to this album before and it’s a banger every time. 5/5 for the spies out there

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Jun 24 2023

Ehhhhh worse bestled

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Jun 28 2023

Really good, but pretty repetitive.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Jul 01 2023

It sure is the beatles

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Feb 22 2024

Boring

High Violet by The National
Feb 25 2024

Surprisingly good for driving!

Metallica by Metallica
Feb 27 2024

Love this album. Every song is a banger. And I don’t even love Metallica because I feel that the drums could just be so much better, however it was the early 90s and real metal was only just coming into its own so it’s fine. Still a 5/5

Cut by The Slits
Mar 01 2024

Kinda okay.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Mar 02 2024

This was surprisingly good actually. Didn’t know what to expect. Would listen again! Genreless, great lyrics, smooth. Loved it!

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Mar 04 2024

Cool rock ska man! Unremarkable for the most part, but was a great listen!

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Mar 07 2024

Captures the 80s vibe decently. Not super remarkable though.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Mar 08 2024

New respect for NIN. Solid. A little grating at times.

Lost Souls by Doves
Mar 10 2024

Not bad so far! 3 songs in.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Mar 12 2024

Turns out I know so many songs on this album already lol. Banger. Wish more rock went this direction in the 90s/00s

Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney
Mar 13 2024

If primus was punk and less weird lol. I liked it!

En-Tact by The Shamen
Mar 14 2024

Weak start. Not my jam off the bat. HOWEVER, considering the age it’s decentish production and I found it pretty decent to drive to actually. In a tune-it-out-and-think kind of way. Thinking it’s a 3/5 just for that. Otherwise 1-2. Nope. Second half was shit.

Boring and cringe. Quimby wannabe lol. Fuck U2. I’ll never forgive them for that iTunes debacle. Coldplay is better.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Mar 16 2024

Pleasantly surprised by this. I listened to this while heading into work 90 minutes early before the sun came up. Was really really nice. Idk if I’d listen to it again on purpose, but really enjoyed it.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 17 2024

Not as good as I hoped

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Mar 20 2024

This sucks honestly. Lead singer sounds great in lows, but the higher pitch stuff is awful. If pop and opera merged (popera?) this would be it. Too bad because the instrumental sounds/tones had potential if it wasn’t so boring note-wise.

Scream, Dracula, Scream by Rocket From The Crypt
Mar 21 2024

This was great! Not even a punk fan much but now I might be!

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Mar 27 2024

Trash. I’m sorry to the artists but I hated everything about this. Boring, Christian, nothingness. Get this tape out of my face.

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Mar 28 2024

Not bad! I liked it for country

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Mar 29 2024

Fannnnntastic! Weird yet accessible. Very cool.

Apr 04 2024

Fucking everybody in these stories is armed to the teeth. They love their hip iron. Musically, pretty boring, but nice enough. The stories are okay haha

1984 by Van Halen
Sep 09 2024

Very solid, wish I grew up when this was cool

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Sep 27 2024

Couple tracks that are solid on their own, but a whole album? Harsh. Couldn’t make it through.

Low-Life by New Order
Sep 30 2024

Solid but very unremarkable. Most songs sounded the same

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Feb 19 2025

Oh god, here we go. Kinda wild this is almost 75 years old. No thoughts. Seems fine.

Smash by The Offspring
Mar 15 2025

Solid. I’d have to be in the mood for it but very well done

British Steel by Judas Priest
Mar 22 2025

Good album, nice to hear metals roots

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Apr 29 2025

There’s a couple good songs but otherwise found it pretty average. His voice is an acquired taste I feel. Not my favorite, but the vibe they go for requires it I guess.

B-52's by The B-52's
Apr 30 2025

Weirder than expected! Like.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Jun 26 2025

Couldn’t get through this one. Mono sound quality too bad.

Pink Flag by Wire
Jul 07 2025

Pretty good with listening again

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Jan 08 2026

Insufferable and lazy

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Mar 18 2026

Solid. It’s oasis, they’re a bit boring, but overall really solid what they do.
