Exodus
Bob Marley & The WailersCool stuff but reggae vibe is too monotonous for me
Cool stuff but reggae vibe is too monotonous for me
Cool
Funky drum loops cool Songwriting sometimes unmemorable and long winded Some good hooks Great voice Very soulful
Great tunes, harrowing war song, lovely hooks, dreamy voice
Boring, not dynamic enough. Timid atmosphere is cute but doesn't hold its own for the entire runtime.
Exceptional lyrics, nice songs. I really want to like Dylan, but I can't get past his vocal timbre and delivery.
Great drum loops, cool bass lines. Works well if you get lost in the repetition, not so well if you're too actively focusing on it.
I can appreciate the soundscapes the band creates with the guitar effects, drum loops and bass lines, though none of the songs really stick.
Fun as hell
Cool record, great production. Unfortunately held back by its length and monotonous tempo choices.
Splendid. Love the moody songs, production and varied songwriting. Will come back to this.
Something about the sleazyness of it all annoys me to hell.
Excellent riffage. If not for Mustaine's vocals, I might have actually liked this band. That blues cut in the back end is weird as hell.
Nothing crazy songwriting wise, but definitely a fun listen with some good tunes
Rock and roll.
Excellent.
There are albums in this book that make you appreciate other albums.
Starts out fun, but drags on. Monotonous, overstretched songs.
Meh
love it. love stipe's voice, love the songs, love it.
Weird, kinda fun but not memorable
Cool tunes, not loving using voice still
Great piano playing, not quite engaging enough for me
Some songs great, some songs just okay
The wrong Elvis
Nice singles, boring as fuck otherwise
Can't handle his voice, also wtf those racist lyrics in "Rednecks" ???
Classic
Fantastic songs, great guitar work, I love the production and sounds.
Not bad just not my jam
Old people music
Band sounds cool but his voice
So much swagger, so much arrogance, so much fun
Didn't expect to be so bored by this
Vocals and monotonous songwriting ruin it for me
Guitar sounds are great, bass as well. I appreciate the thematic sounds in the production (the car sounds indicating a journey of some kind). I don't connect with the lyrics at all. They actively make me want to vomit and turn the record off. So that's what I did.
I appreciate the production and I love the sound of her voice on this record. The songs are nice enough, though I don't think I will be coming back to this one because of the strong disconnect I feel with the lyrical themes.
Lovely to hear a legend like him in what seems to sound like his prime. Much charismatic talk in between that slows it down a little too much, but a fun record nevertheless.
Harmless; but also, nothing memorable.
Vocals throw me off. Guitar work is cool.
Couldn't be anything else than a five. Sometimes horrible but truly iconic vocals, fantastic songs and some greater-than-the-original covers.
The goofy vocals are.. goofy - but the beats and samples are so fantastic. The record is weighed down a bit by filler tracks and skits that don't always land, but in general, I had a good time with this album.
Opens with a great drive to it - really feels like a ride. Slows down a bit with some nice emo and shoegazey elements which I don't mind at all. From there, I can't help but feel like it drags on a little bit too much...
Great. Will come back to this 100%. Lovely tunes, a great voice and thoroughly enjoyable instrumental breaks that are written with care.
Okay, but it didn't make me feel anything
punk rock 👍
The hits are the hits, the rest doesn't do anything for me.
A chaotic though reasonably enjoyable collection of what essentially feels like background music.
Well, it's ska... but also kinda catchy...
HEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
