Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners

Third/Sister Lovers by Big Star
Jan 22 2024

Oddly compiled which varied from songs that delighted to songs that I felt were dreadful. The tone felt all over the place, hopping around from upbeat swing vibes to downturned sad wintery songs. The album also included uninspired covers of classics like "Femme Fatale" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" (Have they not taken enough from Big Maybelle?). Standouts included "Holocaust", "Kizza Me", and "Big Black Car". With songs like "Nature Boy", and "Downs" being very forgettable.

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Jan 24 2024

Filmic vibes for sure but nothing to write home about. Decent album with an interesting sound.

Jan 25 2024

I mean it's alright... This album doesn't feel like it's meant for me. 3 songs in total for 37 minutes, just don't grab my attention. That being said, nice sound.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Jan 27 2024

Rubber Soul is in many the Beatles' first big step into greatness. Although it is not their best album by any means, Rubber Soul showcases the early experiments of the band that would lead to incredible sounds in the future. Stands outs on the album include "I'm Looking Through You", "Nowhere Man", "In My Life" and "Girl". My least favorite songs: "Drive My Car"

Let's Get Killed by David Holmes
Jan 28 2024

David Holmes’ Let’s Get Killed presents a submersive experience of an adventurous late night in New York City. The album feels like a love letter to the city; complemented by its busy sound. Tracks I loved include: Gritty Shaker, Radio 7, and Slashers Revenge.

Pretty Solid. "Dont Want You to Know" is a standout

The Rolling Stones by The Rolling Stones
Feb 09 2024

Nothing Special, rips from Chuck Berry and Chip Skylark, an interesting listen to see the early beginnings of an iconic band but incredibly uninspiring

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall

Lost In Music, I'm Going to Spain, Paranoia Man in a Cheap Shit Room, and The League of Bald-Headed Men all bangers

Mar 01 2024

I wish I could give it negative stars. I can't believe somebody would go to the lengths to make such horrible repetitive dull music.
