Great album to give yourself a kitchen scissor home haircut to
Assigning a song to each of my next 69 hinge matches
Any time someone listens to this album on shuffle, Syd Barrett turns over in his grave

Pros: only 37 minutes Cons: those 37 minutes were painful
No notes❗️🧑🍳🤌💋

An icon. Legend. Prince of pop. But every song could have been ~2 mins shorter.
Made for excellent background music while reading my book club book (Verity) on the green line
My favorite part of this was the title

Safe As Milk would be a sick band name
Mostly enjoyed this look inside the mind of Lucy Dacus
My bad for expecting Santeria
It may have more to do with me being in a car for 5 hours and less to do with the album itself (will never listen again to find out) but I was so bored by this, I’m going to sue Bob
Call me a mumble pop fan (I hope the title track is never not stuck in my head)
Great getting ready music, not great driving music
2020?! Damn, how recent’s this list?
No, thank you!
Dissociating at the dinner table to this one 🔥
Should they be talking about Terry like that?
The trick is to hit play on the album of the day and then keep your hands busy. Perhaps too intimate a soundtrack to cut fruit to, but I got it done
Thrilled Catfish is making a comeback, but I probably could have supplemented with the guys
Kunetz said it all
Kinda crazy only British bands existed in the 60s, eh? And this one had a drummer named Twink!

Not for me but we got it done 💪
Haven’t touched the genre since R Kelly music videos were popular 15 years ago, but D’Angelo fucks (I bet he has so much sex)
Jig of Life had me feeling like I was climbing Old Man of Storr

He would have loved Julien Baker
I liked Teach Your Children so much, I almost added it to a playlist
Opening a song with “clowns caress you:” -bold -not helpful at all, contrary to the title
Surprised to learn Alec Baldwin was relevant back then
Sauerkraut(rock)

Theatre kid Bo Burnham. Does that make sense?
The Randy Burns mixes go craaaazy
Didn’t pick up any machine gun manners/best practices though
I resonate so profoundly with the double question marks
On Battleship Hill sounded vaguely like Riptide by Vance Joy, no?
Elephant Love Medley (which samples Heroes) > Heroes by David Bowie, sorry
We’re gonna get that Beastie Boys album, right?
Yeah, if by talking, you mean singing
Sometimes the singer sounded like Patrick Stump and other times like Jon Bon Jovi, but I didn’t really like it (all the time)
Bombastic side eye @ All In the Family
Was really liking it, didn’t realize the album ended, a Flaming Lips song auto-played after and I was like “damn I really, REALLY like this” (just really liked it)

“The glamour of the gay night life has lured you” 😏
Effectively reduced cortisol levels at the office 👍
One star for music, an additional star for band name (a bit of a stretch!) and album name (very creative!)
Good, would have been better if I was there
The maid song deserves criticism but I’m going to use this opportunity to call out a later album by him titled “Harvest Moon” … like, try harder?
If it’s not Low Rider, I don’t want it
Sometimes it was like 50% Hugh Grant’s pop band (Pop!) in Music & Lyrics, 50% Challengers soundtrack. I don’t know if I really enjoyed that
Great hand/head/full body out the car window tunes on a warm spring day :,)
Tried and failed to get through the vault tracks
I’m shaking my head no
Bit of a snoozefest
My Back Pages is a 5 which brings a 3 album to a 4 rating
Liked it! Liked the stuff that auto-played after (Jimmy Hughes, Garnet Mimms & the Enchanters, Little Willie John, James Hunter) a little more!

After Chris Cornell passed, my mom bought every Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog cd and it was the only music she would listen to, in the car and at home, for like two years. I moved out during that time
Liked the music AND the lyrics
Always get nervous when I see Disc 1/Disc etc. but the opening/title track is SO GOOD. Disc 1 is easily a 5/5, second half loses me (2.5), so a 4/5 it gets
The first band I liked on my own after gaining consciousness at like 9 years old. They’re getting nothing but 5’s from me, always 😤
Really hard to look up if their stuff gets used in movie soundtracks when there are “My Bloody Valentine” movies
Could have sworn he sang half of these in Rocky Horror Picture Show
My expectations were through the floor, deep underground (but I liked it)
But Deceptacon!
Of any relation to Lil Nas X?
Confused because I thought I liked folk rock??
Big fan of tortoises, even bigger fan of songs that have words in them
“Milk” 🤝 “Safe As Milk”
Nothing for me to be afraid of!
My favorites in order: -the name of the band -the name of the album - - -the music
Jake Whiting must do this guy’s album art
“Machine machine machine machine” doesn’t really do it for me lyric-wise
I added “Be Sweet” to a playlist??!
Pretending the strictly instrumental ones didn’t exist
Who did they pay to appear on this more than once?
Fond memory alert: my dad, who *does not* play instruments, taught me Smoke on the Water when I was an itty bitty child on like a $40 Walmart guitar
Idk maybe we could have workshopped the lyrics to You Know Who I Am a little more
The first 8 seconds of Please Mister Postman is such a little dopamine hit for me, like 🥁🗣️ wait❗️👬👬 how cute :-)
TFTI, sounded like a real good time 🙄
Used to play “Movin’ Out” while driving around by myself feeling like a REAL adult at 17 (I wouldn’t move out for 4 more years)

You gotta read Kunetz's review
I'm shrugging emphatically
I'm shrugging less emphatically
Good but you knew that, didn’t you?
There were two songs in the beginning that kind of reminded me of Green Day and the Gin Blossoms?? 👍👍 but then it got bad 👎👎
Should have been the album with Tom’s Diner on it
Great album title, I feel like Harry would have loved twitter
Should have been the album with Make Me Feel on it
🙂↔️👎
Johnny, I owe you an apology
Julian, my man, how do you Cope with putting out another bad album? :/
Started bad, ended worse, but there was some okay stuff in the middle!
Rent (Farleigh’s Version) >>>>

Was electric! Bet he lands ladies!!
I would like to go back and give Electric Ladyland a 5
“Loop-ay”? Have I been pronouncing the neopet wrong this whole time?
Me, refusing to look at the album cover: there were three of them, I just know it
I’m behind so I can see Amy’s Back to Black is next and it is very much that distracted boyfriend meme: I want to let go of Portishead’s hand so bad. Seriously though, the ONLY song I wasn’t itching to skip was Deep Water. Didn’t like this album
I won’t see the movie, love & respect ya too much <3
The interludes were fab
Definitely my favorite article (“the”), definitely not an album I enjoyed
Me, :09 seconds into Stardust: oh no, is this an instrumental album? Me, 0:14 seconds into Stardust: maybe it should have been
Legend says no one's ever made it to the bottom of his discography on Spotify. I'm still scrolling!
I wish I a) had a friend in a band and b) could say the band sounded like this
