Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Feb 18 2024

Really enjoyed this entire album. As someone with limited exposure to ZZ Top (other than mtv in the 80s) this was great. Brought me back in time and reminded me how much good old rock music is missing today. Didn’t realize how long they were around, as this album came out the year i was born. Almost ahead of its time in some ways.

Kid A by Radiohead
Feb 19 2024

While i appreciate Radiohead, most of their music has never resonated with me. Extremely talented and successful band but not my speed. Take this review with a grain of salt.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 20 2024

I bought this CD when it came out. Over 30 years later, getting to listen to it is a treat and extremely nostalgic. I’m right back in college at house parties.

1984 by Van Halen
Feb 21 2024

Never realized how little music is on this album. 33 minutes. That said, for me, when i think of Van Halen i think of Jump, Panama and Hot for Teacher.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 22 2024

I bought this CD when it came out and I’m not sure i ever listened to every song. There are so many classic but in listening to it through all these years later i really enjoyed the creative variety. Even the songs i didn’t love, i appreciate. A gem.

British Steel by Judas Priest
Feb 23 2024

My expectation having never really listed or was a fan was that this album would be a struggle. It’s amazing. Not one bad song, variety. Add me to the JP fam club.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Feb 24 2024

Some classics in here - never thought i knew his music. Enjoyed it.

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Feb 25 2024

Perfect background music on a lazy Sunday.

All Directions by The Temptations
Feb 28 2024

Quick and enjoyable. Miss classic Motown music.

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Feb 29 2024

Not a memorable song or one I’d want to hear again.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Mar 01 2024

All time album from top to bottom. All time band and lead singer. RIP Chris Cornell.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Mar 02 2024

McCartney is a genius and this album is easy, fun and really good.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Mar 06 2024

I think i like punk rock, depending on the mood and in small doses. This epitomizes punk rock to me. Really enjoyed it more than i thought i would.

Tragic Songs of Life by The Louvin Brothers
Mar 07 2024

Old school country; the soft strumming, harmonizing and story telling. Enjoyed it. Not a ton of versatility in the music but a good listen and look into 1950s country music.

Mott by Mott The Hoople
Mar 08 2024

Would listen to this again. I heard Dylan and Bowie in some songs. These guys are versatile.

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Mar 10 2024

More indie than rock for me. Just a couple appealing tunes for me.

Mar 16 2024

Putting aside that Kanye being a pos human with zero moral compass, this album and music are really really good. I am rating the music, not the person. The person is a zero.
