Really groovy and chill vibes. Not a huge fan of hip hop so, this got old after 4 minutes.
you need to have severe brain fungus tot think, that writing an 20 minute song about any rend is a good idea in any way shape or form. and the rest of the album is kind of meh and forgettable.

This album feels like watching paint dry, because nothing happens. If you listen to the first 10 seconds of one song you basically listened to the whole song, because there is barely any sonic variations in the songs. This album drags itself through your ears for 45 minutes with the best moment being the end.

him pulling his music from Spotify wasn't a loss and his return unnecessary. also the instrumental has potential, if it would lean into a more raunchy or grungy sound, but like this you have a horrible vocalist and a boring guitar lulling you into sleep.
this is the second Neil young and crazy horse album b2b and everything I said about the first one still stays true. still bad vocalist, still boring instrumental, but with the added bonus of the afore mentioned war crime fiddle. after that song I want a requiem for myself

has really interesting ideas that glimmer trough on parts of the album, but is also incredibly wonky, with a mediocre singer and a cluttered instrumental. the first half of the album also seems really repetitive, however the album gets much clearer and more listenable on the second half.

this is a really mixed bag, where some tracks are really good and others are really bad. also the intro tracks are just piano on a rock/grunge album??? way too long and the vocalist really hates hitting notes.

Courtney Love is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the grunge realm as both this album and "Violet" are absolute bangers. Now there are a few songs that meander on a bit, but overall this was a very pleasant listen.

While it at times definitely is an "it insists upon itself" album, it also has a lot of bangers. It just seems like he got to much into his head with some of these tracks and just started added things that don't even make sense.

I only ever heard of Sonic Youth because of Kim Gordon and her fantastic record "The Collective", now I knew that that record as a very different sound than SY's stuff, but I still expected lots of great things and was honestly kind of disappointed by this thing. It isn't bad, but for the most part this just sounds like arbitrary noise with now clear arrangement or purpose to be found. Now there are some cute songs I liked, mainly "Starpower" and "Express to Yr. Skull", with the second half generally being stronger.
Not only they aren't siblings, but they also DIVORCED when doing this album? You got me fooled Mr. White and you too Mrs. White. Death to all of them. The album itself is kinda aight.
