do not find this as their best album probably i think i like the sounds of diff albums more but this isnt bad and i like the cover and aesthetic and ofc killer queen is the cuntiest song ever. i like the song titles though. mot a big fan of the sad slow songs bc i very rarely listen to queen for the sad songs but then again friends is beautiful lool. id overall give it an 80 out of 100
after a while some of these start to blend in to tgt or become forgettable imo but i still rlly like most of these and i also rlly liked the closing track i love instrumentals i love i love i love thats such a good end to the album but the music was rlly good as well just a few forgettable songs but i think for a debut this is rlly rlly good and i am an elliott smith meatrider so blehhh :p
i didn’t like the voice and indie kinda isn’t my thing now so it just made me like it even less
the world was changed forever
ouuuuuuuuuu well not my thing i’ll say that nuch
honestly i kind of liked this i didnt save every song and some of the influences (such as tame impala) were very obvious but i reaaaaallly liked a few tracks.
the opening track negative space felt as if it was underwater it was something i really liked however the next song was almost exactly the same so i was like meh idk
the soft season and opener together worked really well, the first is probably my fav song from this album
instrumental track reunion was really good and shortcomings had some very fun instrumentation i felt like i could listen to on a car ride home
overall not as bad as i thought it was gonna be + unrelated but the album cover is rlly pretty :-)
pls never make me sit through that again
my will to go on with this slowly decreases with every goddamn live album. good songs but theres no reason for all this and i DO in fact want to kms now thank you so much for nothing pls just make the song a normal lenfth nobody wanted the extended versions i hace never wanted to die more in my life please make it stop PLEASE
fire thank you so much foo fighters however i still prefer the colour and the shape solely because of the bonus title track that was just straight screaming. but i loved this still
i mean okay like
listen i like slipknot for the most part other than my ex bf was obsessed with them and now i hate them (i dont)
ALSO there are way better metal bands EVEEN nu metal bands
i have always found some of slipknot's lyrics to be a little cringe like why areyou trying sooo hard to seem edgy idk it def does come off as very childish but hey at the end of the day this album is still fun and they are one of the first metal bands i ever liked soososososoo it isnt entirely bad. SCISSORS IS DEF A STANDOUT 8 minutes of perfection (kinda) but yeah def not as bad as everyone says it is (in my opinion)
i actually really really liked this and anyone who says it is too pretentious is prob 6 mentally and would not survive any beatles album in the world
THE LIME LIPS BENDS
i love thsi alvum
nice dreamis my fav song
blakc star sounds like fall
i lovethe melodies
i love thom yorkes vocals
im a radiohead fanboy
i love this album
blessup
this is life
beauty
first few songs were actually pretty unbearable and then i suddenly was sat. fav tracks drive you home (i think its called), history and the closing track
this was reccomended to me at the perfect time im going through such a trip hop phase and revisiting this album is what i needed. glory box def one of the best closers of all time and numb and pedestal are just spectacular. the best way to enjoy this album is a cool summer night with your window cracked open
in theory i should like this but something about it made me really miserable i cant really place why it took me so long to get through this entire thing. fav tracks are the last 3 probably i wanna grow old and marry someone and listen to this song on snowy mornings on winter vacations w our kid in the backseat. this is so beautiful i cant wait to be an old man and finally grow an appreciation for this type of music
its a 2 everyone knows this
i really really liked this i think my only issue is there were very few standout tracks they all sort of embodied the same formula (other than that one psychedelic song i really loved). but what can you say its marvin gaye of course its good
honestly this is sooo good also did i just find the cover art of the century lmk sarah is staring at me weird and sticking her tongue out will somebody make her a rabies Vaccine about it can we get undiseasedplease its that time of peee
leonard cohen is a natural treasure and despite how dated this album is, it (unsurprisingly) remains timeless to me. teachers is just one of the many highlights here and wow he really was a legend i cannot believe it took me this long for my first cohen album
feels a little bloated and repetitive. i guess i dont understand why this album made this list because it is just fine with absolutely nothing new to provide. the old material it recycles is not particularly my taste anyway
i think its a little bloated and the songs sound waayyy too similar i liked dusty in memphis a lot more than this album
i grew out of the arctic monkeys' music a while ago at this point. solid album and i understand the appeal however they do not really align with my tastes and the older i get the more grading i find alex turners voice but alas what can you do
certified classic and it never fails to amaze me how cool this band is. i love jim morrison i love the doors i love psych rock i love it all!!
i love jazz and i love these songs i find the artistic direction in its entirety very beautiful and i'm glad it made this list!
beautiful, cathartic and life affirming music. i could play this any time of the day and still be happy
beautiful trip hop album with a good amount of diversity that leans into all aspects of the genre and its influences to create a well rounded love letter to downtempo and its many forms. i love this
really good and i feel like i got this reccomended to me at such a perfect time of the year. this is a certified beach classic
close to you is like the greatest love song ever made but other than that this was fairly predictable easy listening sweet stuff
perfectly fine psych rock album (which truly isnt my genre anyways) but it's inoffensive
i am so glad this website gives me the chance to hear albums i wouldve never found or thought of listening to. this has some of the most beautiful guitar work and the overall vibe is simply great
i think joni mitchell is so cool and she consistently makes some of the coolest music i've ever heard. the instrumentation and composition of these songs make me so happy. she is my personal jesus
songs of this genre tend to bore me out of my mind but something about the eccentricity of this project made it work for me a lot more than i thought it would. beautiful stuff!!!
i love this album!! my friend had reccomended this to me a while ago and revisiting it made me think of her. thanks for this saanvi ;-) listening to this album made me ten times cooler its just such a certified classic and has one of the best feels to it
I FUCKING LOVE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN I AM A GAY MAN WHO DOES NOT PLAY ABOUT BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND I AM NOT SORRY
how is this remarkable in any way?
thought this was a reinhart one at first and got proven very wrong. genuine question guys.. why do these mid rock bands from the 2000s-2010s somehow end up w spots on this list?
i wish the tracks had a bit more variety in between them but regardless good instrumentation i like it im liking it
fucking beautiful this has to be psych rock at some of its best
i love to dance i love music i love paris i love blanket i love to sleep in paris
my favourite teacher in highschools favourite album of course i love this
i love country music. this feels warm, sweet, intimate and ultimately just makes me feel good. got this reccomended to me on a nice autumn day, cant complain!
iconic and perfect album.
one of taylors better albums. This sound fits her extremely well and this album was also unironically the birth of MANY many many bangers. new romantics is also the greatest thing shes ever recorded. admittely not the biggest on ms swift myself but i think this album is pleasant.
i love this man more than words can express.
have been really in the mood for country/more rustic music in general today and woow what a perfect amalgamation of multiple genres this album is!!!!! its prog its folky with beautiful instrumentation. the vocals are a little bit forgettable but not bad by any means. these are automatically going into my driving in the autumn playlist
the title holds true this album is juuust legendary man
my friend and i always make fun of this album cover. idk we have one sided beef with it. i havent actually listened to this album in full because the las are such an irrelevant band but im glad i got this reccomended to me during october at least
this is my favourite madonna album i jus think the vibe and the sound are so perfectly curated. i wish cyber raga was included toooooo!!! my fav songs are amazing, nobodys perfect and that cover of american pie ofcourse
honestly this album isnt my taste anymore but the cover art and overall influence this album had on my life makes this a five. such an iconic album im so glad i found this when i did.
i love how noisy this is. that closer is batshit crazy.
quite generic compared to a lot of the albums that have made this list but i still enjoyed it a lot. the songs sound a bit similar to each other as well.. which despite being a weakness, manages to uphold a certain atmosphere which i appreciated. i can see myself spinning a few tracks off this here and there
iconic!!! such a cool atmosphere and this album as a whole makes me think of my childhood. forever will have a soft spot.
