Not bad. Lots of the songs sounded similar, but I loved the production. Every song on its own was good
Really enjoyed this. I've liked funk but never really dove into it before. Groovy, good pacing mixups, good flow from song to song.
Lots of influences and ideas. Cohesive despite the experimental approach. Very interesting but not sure how often I'll revisit
Nice blues influences. Classic rock singers all sound the same
Good, but I wasn't super into it.
Lots of fun psychedelic stuff in here.
My feet can't stop dancing
Great musicianship, 10 minute drum solo
If I was a jackal I would chew off my paw to escape from this live performance
Musicality was good, but I didn't like the symphonic stuff that much although I appreciate them trying to bring something new to their well known songs. The mixing wasn't great, but that's expected for a live album.
I think I just don't like live albums.
Anyone who thinks Coldplay is bad should not be trusted
Not a big fan. Also it seemed racist?
Heavier rolling stones. Interesting
Is this what started the mid 2000s folks ensemble indie rock trend
TIL all those great songs I could never assign to an artist were Justice
Maybe the Metallica live album would have been better if they had collaborated with them, and maybe call the album "...and Justice for All"
Are they called REM because they made me fall asleep?
Gonna have to re listen to this one a few times. I like it.
Yeah I mean it's acdc
Blasted this one for Jr
Hell yeah another live album
I tried but I just can't. Two songs in and I'm done
Really enjoyed this. Funky, good melodies. Never really listened to Stevie Wonder before and that was a mistake I'm happy to rectify now.
Really love the instrumentation but it's a shame the producer is a pos
Is this an interesting album that puts a lens on a certain time period and its musical styles? Yes. Did it accomplish what it set out to do? Yes (I think). Did I enjoy it? Sometimes. Did I need to listen to this album before I died? No.
Really like this album. I love early Kanye. The production, the beats, some good turns of phrase. The sampling and use of the human voice as its own unique instrument is always good.
However, it's a shame he became the type of person he spoke out against within this album.
Nirvana is best when plugged in
Liked this more than I thought I would, but probably won't listen again
Liked parts, meh on others.
Why choose adversity when you can be white in the 70s?
The vocalist sounds like someone singing bad on purpose.
I remember being 10 and liking this album
There are some parts that were interesting and started to pull me back in, and then it would just be awful bars set to the worst beat available in 1989
Totally fine. In fact, it gives me hope that my musical techniques could give me fame and notoriety some day.
Really really enjoyed this. Gonna have to keep listening.
Very fun. Madi described this as Brazilian Abba
Liked parts of it, meh on a lot. Being stuck in a clean room listening to Pigs and I Could Kill A Man on repeat for 45 minutes probably didn't help
Boy oh boy did I not enjoy 80% of this. Why are the songs so long? Why is this a double album?
Queen Elizabeth and her Billy Corgies
I thought this was lovely
If the song "Ice Cream Man" didn't exist this album may have lost a star
Very fun
Big fan of any artist that makes sure you know they are
Nice melancholy. Decent to have on in the background while working.
This album walked so that other artists could run away from the choices made here and create good music
Slightly distorted electric guitar
I remember being obsessed with this album in 2013. It's still good, but not great.
It's really quite surprising how despite nearly all of my favorite bands growing up being Radiohead clones, I never really listened to Radiohead until my mid to late 20s
Had no idea what to expect from the name but I'm here for it
Pretty decent. Liked parts, meh on a some.
Block 15 Sticky Fingers is the best beer
I enjoy this album a fair bit, and a number of years ago I would have given this a 4 or 5. El Camino is better imo
Best thing it did for me was get me into Muddy Waters years ago.
At first I didn't think a 5+ minute drum solo would be for me
but if it's not for me, then who is it for?
