Oh boy a great album from one of the GOATs! Such a musical mind!
Loved this album then and love it now!!
Some tracks were a little “yelly” for me but it was overall interesting.
Lots of variety and I had no idea they did Alright! Liked how much Strange Ones shifted around but didn’t care for the chorus much.
Well this was hard to get through. Long intros and llooonnggg songs! If I had to pick a title it would be Children of the Damned
So good! A little twangy at first musically but then her voice takes over!

Didn’t listen
Um, just no! The music was so splintered so I was hoping there would be some lyrics? Oddly, the only song I felt was reasonable was Kuntz!
Pretty enjoyable and material didn’t seem dated, like it belonged in a particular era
Decent and not f course their two top hits where there too, also liked “What!”
Such a full bodied sound with all the brass and those keyboards! Great listen!
Nice early Marley. Was surprised by the different version of Woman No Cry, not what it’s become known as. Lively Up Your Life was a good mantra song.
Not bad for a punky type album.
Not a fan…
Melodically very pleasant. Liked West Country Girl and Far From Me but not my genre overall.
Meh
Interesting arrangements but vocals ranged no from shrieking to juvenile sounding banter. Night of the Swallow was my selected favorite.
Interesting and some good listens
Not bad, seemed like a lot of variety, which surprised me.
Some great oldies! Very iconic voice!
This sounded like overstructured, overdone arrangements, over and over again! Not….my…cup…of…tea! Better than Bjork though.
Lots more variety than I thought there would be. Folksy, bluesy, light rock. I wouldn’t seek it out to listen to though.
Good listen. I know they’re considered punk but it felt more grungy/rock/little bit punk to me.
Meh. Tracks were a bit disjointed for my taste, especially Chance Meeting. Would You Believe was my favorite on the album
Reasonable listen but nothing stuck out other than the lyrics, which were downright funny at times. Girlfriend in a Coma was the most enjoyable!
This was so peppy and fun to listen to!
🥴 All the drum tracks sounded the same. I was skipping through the tracks in an effort to get through them and kept coming upon the same instrumentals!
Kinda fun! I Left My Wallet in El Segundo and Bonita Applebum were my favorites! Pretty clever lyricists!
Some good ones on this album. Very enjoyable and really not too 60’s ish.
Liked Love You, not the additional takes, just Love You.
Some good ones on this album! A couple of weirder ones too but overall good!
Not a fan, just too over mixed and engineered for my taste. So Easy was okay.
Pretty easy listening from an artist I’ve never heard anyone f.
Meh….🤷🏻♀️
Great classic!! Brings back memories!
Couldn’t find this on a free service.
The echo machine was prevalent on this one. Liked Dixie Drug Store the most.
Awfully angsty and sounded mournful. I did enjoy We Float.
Endless enjoyment on this iconic hit filled album. Just soooo good on all fronts!
This was a fun listen! Great voice and such unique, yet acceptable lyrics!
Pleasant enough but nothing worth saving to a playlist IMHO
Thank you for Sending Me an Angel and of course Take Me to the River but otherwise “meh.”
Couldn’t find this album on free listening sites so couldn’t listen/review.
A little too jazzy for me but still respectable!
Liked this oldie. Very ground breaking!
Second album from the Smiths….doubling up already?
Good Times and My Feet Keep Dancing were the best tracks. Nice album!
Too ominous for me. Madonna, Sean, and me was somewhat enjoyable
Bona fide GOLD! Was least familiar with Four Sticks but loved/knew every track. Enjoyed the simplicity of Going To California as I always have!
Really liked this one! E-Pro, Girl and Missing
Thought I would enjoy these guys, not so much. All such melancholy tracks! Go To Sleep was the best of them.
All sounded the same but a couple of standouts.
Pretty enjoyable, such a great voice, relaxes me!
I really liked this one! Mambo Sun and Bang a Gong 👍🏼
👍🏼 Least favorite was such a well known song, Aja!
Enjoyed the mandolin and the indie sound but not the way the vocalist broke up the syllables in the lyrics so distinctly. Winter White Hymnal, I believe, was my favorite
Liked the title track but other than that, nothing remarkable.
Listenable for sure with a couple of stand out tracks
A little too old school for me
I really liked this album! Kind of gave me a Music Festival vibe, lots of variety!
Started to listen and made it through the first one, much too jazzy and instrumental for me
Oh boy a great album from one of the GOATs! Such a musical mind!
I know they probably spent countless hours on this album but it sure sounds like they just kinda made most of it up on the spot!
Another GOAT album just packed with iconic tracks!!
This was a great album. Almost every track had something unique, yet Bowie to offer!
Voice got a little old but the horns thrown in here and there made it interesting. Liked “When Seasons Change “ the best.
Kinda fun. Liked Little Queen of Darness and Sunny Afternoon the most. Some of it was too 60’s for me though.
Haven’t really listened to Cold Play much and I really enjoyed it. Love having a strong but not overbearing piano in there!
The Other Side and Girls Like Me were nice listening but overall pretty self deprecating lyrics, especially the short little “chats” sprinkled in as tracks.
Hmmm, pretty boring and non descriptive.
Interesting….
Toooo jazzy/bluesy/horny/long.
Man Who Sailed Around His Soul was retro but also current. A World Wrapped In Grey also good.
Not a huge Pink Floyd fan but a solid classic nonetheless.
Overall good folksy rockish album.
Interesting….
Very nice listen!!
REALLY liked this album. No idea what the lyrics were, of course, but the music was intoxicating!
Very enjoyable with good variety and some iconic songs. Never thought of myself as a Steely Dan fan but I added a couple of tracks to my playlist!
Lots or repetition within each song. The little short tracks spring led in were a nice little surprise but kind of odd music (organs I think?) Liked Nw Low the best.
Fun and eclectic listen. Liked Waiting for the Heartaches to Come. Also liked the ties and references to the sea that kept recurring.
Meh
Very different than what I expected. More of a rock sound.
Interesting and typical early Bowie.
Some rather screechy tracks, some rocker tracks, some almost lullaby tracks.
Iconic stuff there!
Some good tracks for sure. Each track, however, was so different from the others. At times it was a bit disorienting, like “Who am I actually listening to?” Enjoyed it for the most part
Enjoyed this album. Rap that wasn’t too offensive or derogatory. Also liked the horns
Just the best of the best. All tracks, every one!
Just a little too much psych!
Enjoyable listen, nothing too jarring
Very much enjoyed this album, particularly Strength of Strings.
Such long endings and some solids but not a big fan
Very loungy indeed! Whoever was the drummer for him had a really cush gig!
This was not the iconic McCartney sound I expected. Kind of took me aback. Some good tracks on there of course, “Maybe I’m Amazed”
Just kind of meh!!
So this was A LOT of Christina! Some good ones though!
Very Doors!
Could hear traces of that great harmony but overall a disappointing album. Odd tracks/subjects to sing about. Liked the tree one though
Couldn’t find actual album on Spotify but pieced it together to listen.
