A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector
Various ArtistsLove the album. Phil Spector, not so much. Felt appropriate to listen to this while taking down Christmas decorations.

An absolute favorite. Both in music and cover art.
Chaotic to say the least!
Calming. A good one to re-visit during the dregs of winter when I need a transport.
Super fun. Reminded me of something that a Martin Scorsese soundtrack would introduce me to.
Guttural, dance-y and fun. Makes me want a cold beer and a summer day.
Really enjoyed this. Felt like a "Pretty in Pink" 80s time capsule.
Moodier than what I wanted today, but vibe-y and fun. And dig the Bauhaus-y album art.
Experimental and clang-y.
Here for the pop hits, not the slow ballads.
Trippier than I expected. I enjoyed the spoken word portion.
A tried and true favorite. Brings back all the college memories. Bought this on CD at WalMart on a whim.
Not really my vibe, but interesting!
Wild!
I love every Beatles album forever and ever.
Felt on-brand for them, but not my fave.
Was Green Day a bonafide rock band and I didn't really notice it?! "American Idiot" still holds and is relevant as ever. I didn't remember that "Holiday" and "Boulevard of broken dreams" flowed right into each other. Cool.
Way more fun and dance-y than I anticipated. Really enjoyed.
"Once in a Lifetime" is the first song I remember loving as a kid. This one will always have a special place.
Fun!
Who doesn't love some Beach Boys? Especially during "in-between-mas." This one has one of my favorites: "Do you wanna dance?" I also love "Dance, dance, dance."
A super fun listen. Makes me wish I was riding in a convertible somewhere sunny on the west coast.
Nostalgic for me.
Groovy and bluesy and fun.
Noisy, clangy and fun.

Not my favorite, but trippy and fun.
Definitely feels like an early 90s time capsule. "Mysterious Ways" will always be a favorite.
A couple of grooves, but not really my kinda honky tonk.
Okay this was an immediate love. So fun. Filing this away for repeat listening. Also love the album art.
Fairly certain the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will always be a 5/5 for me.
I can see why this one is on the list. A very groovy listen.
Well-suited for an early January day.
Another appropriate early January listen.
Needed on a blue day.
Perfect for a snowy chore day.
A definite rock-n-roll album. Another nostalgic one. I remember this one being on repeat on CD growing up.
Another immediate love. Excited to put this on repeat.
Kinda cracked me up at some parts. Enjoyed way more than expected. Kinda captured my mood for the day, too.
Enjoyed this. Reminded me a bit of some of the jazz in the Andy Griffith Show?
Not my fave Stevie album, but love Stevie. And "Don't you worry 'bout a thing" is one of my favorites.
Can't say I gave this one a fair listen. It was more background music. But I enjoyed the overall vibes and the songs I recognized.
Poppy, bubbly and fun. Would make a great house party soundtrack.
I 100% confused Savage Garden with Soundgarden and did not expect this to be grunge. Lol
Love.
Vibes on vibes on vibes. "Super Rich Kids" and "Forrest Gump" are favorites.
Almost reminds me of early Alt J?! Dig.
Trippy!
Nina!
Didn't make it through the whole thing, but definitely an enjoyable listen.
Admittedly don't love a two disc set. Too long! :P But love some Van.
Not my vibe.
What I needed yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Love. Forgot about "beat on the brat."
Completely exceeded expectations. Especially enjoyed the first couple of tracks and the last track. Why don't we talk about The Pretenders more?
Thoroughly enjoyed. Excited for a re-listen when I'm less distracted.
