Popular Reviews

Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits

it's different and weird but not in an insufferable way

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf

Idk why I thought meat loaf was a comedian (like weird al vibes) but this obviously exceeded my expectations His voice kinda gives Phil Collins in Tarzan

25 by Adele

Oh adele the woman that you are When I was in middle school, I was at a cheer competition and there was a scoring delay so they had a talent show. Each team had to send one girl to compete and I was voluntold to go up and I sang the chorus of Hello (it was Fall 2015 so of course I did). Then 2 turns later, this girl from Exeter same the same song😭 anyway I won the talent show and my team won the competitionšŸ’†šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Anyway, I think people are haters and this album is great. This is the first time I intentionally listened to the whole thing and I too am going through a breakup in my 20s so I just appreciated it a little bit more. Awesome vocalist and it makes me kinda sad that she doesn't do too much vocally but it's still good!

In 4th grade chorus, we sang a mash up of Blowin' in the Wind and My Country Tis of Thee and it actually went so hard I still think about it. I think it made me woke as a 9 year old for sure

Idk if it's over listening or the fact that I listened to Bad last night but I was just bored I really do love a lot of these songs but I think it lacks cohesion The cultural impact of this album is crazy though and I do understand a lot of the hype. Never heard of them before which is kinda surprising. I really enjoyed the listen Recorded in a church (source: wikipedia) and I think that it added to the sound. that with the orchestral elements (violin, cello, organ, etc.) I really liked the blending with modern through style but the classical instrumentation Sucks that the guy is a sexual predator. I probably would've listened to it differently had I known that

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Jun 28 2025

I feel like I've always had it ingrained in my mind that Simon & Garfunkel were all time best songwriters and I mean yeah they're good but I don't think I could name more than 3 songs off the top of my mind at any given time I definitely enjoyed this listen but at the same time I don't think it's an all-timer. A few of the last.fm shouts are saying it's their best and I just refuse to believe that I took a costume design elective my senior fall of college and we did a project where we had to pick a famous duo and find their outfits for under $500 and I recreated their Central Park Concert look. My professor loved it but I did drop the class

Nov 05 2025

i don't know if i've ever listened to this full album before but it really is just banger after banger after banger

Yeezus by Kanye West
Nov 07 2025

Really struggled to rate this one. I think it’s arguably a great album and I’m so mad that I like it. I so wish I could give it 5 stars but it gets -1 for the misogynistic lines and a -1 bc Kanye is a terrible person and I’m incapable of separating the art from the artist
