When I was in middle school, I was at a cheer competition and there was a scoring delay so they had a talent show. Each team had to send one girl to compete and I was voluntold to go up and I sang the chorus of Hello (it was Fall 2015 so of course I did). Then 2 turns later, this girl from Exeter same the same song😭 anyway I won the talent show and my team won the competition💆🏻♀️
Anyway, I think people are haters and this album is great. This is the first time I intentionally listened to the whole thing and I too am going through a breakup in my 20s so I just appreciated it a little bit more. Awesome vocalist and it makes me kinda sad that she doesn't do too much vocally but it's still good!

In 4th grade chorus, we sang a mash up of Blowin' in the Wind and My Country Tis of Thee and it actually went so hard I still think about it. I think it made me woke as a 9 year old for sure

I really do love a lot of these songs but I think it lacks cohesion
The cultural impact of this album is crazy though and I do understand a lot of the hype. Banger after banger as far as recognizable songs go but it just wasn't doing it for me today

Never heard of them before which is kinda surprising. I really enjoyed the listen
Recorded in a church (source: wikipedia) and I think that it added to the sound. that with the orchestral elements (violin, cello, organ, etc.) I really liked the blending with modern through style but the classical instrumentation

I feel like I've always had it ingrained in my mind that Simon & Garfunkel were all time best songwriters and I mean yeah they're good but I don't think I could name more than 3 songs off the top of my mind at any given time
