Day 1:
Very solid start to this journey. Incredibly solid production and sound quality meant it was a joy to listen through all the way through, and I had no urge to skip on any of the tracks. Although a few tracks stood out positively, nothing blew me away or overwhelmed me though. Overall enjoyed more than anticipated as this isn't a genre of music I have much experience with.

Was not moved by the opening track unfortunately. Maybe if I was either tripping or played the guitar (or both) I would have appreciated it more. Apparently its one of the greatest bits of guitar work of all time so a shame to not have enjoyed it. The rest of the album was great however, phenomenal production quality and some very catchy guitar riffs and drumming and whatnot.

Adore the first half of this but after that it starts to drag on for me personally. Firestarter does manage to provide an element of reinvigoration to the latter half of this but I found myself bored with some of the tracks towards the end of this. Still, solid album overall and not hard to see why its so iconic.

My favourite songs from this album will always have a special place in my heart as I have loved them since I was a child, but I have to say the rest of the album was quite dissapointing and forgettable. Also have no idea why some of the tracks are as long as they are, they drag on and the album as a whole really started to bore me in its latter stages. I like though how if you search this album into Reddit to top posts are all talking about how the fat obese smoker on the cover is unidentified to this day as opposed to any reviews of the album itself lol

A very relaxing and calmfull listen. Have to say I'm not particularly familiar with the genre of Spiritual Afro-Islamic Soul but was pleasantly suprised by this. Will definately be listening to this whilst working/studying in the future.
Hard to pinpoint any favourite/least favourite tracks as the whole album flows in an incredibly seamless way.
