Gorillaz
GorillazThere's a couple 10/10 tracks on here, and Clint Eastwood is a 12/10 for me, but the quality is not consistent, so a lot of the album feels like weird experimental Albarn filler. Bonus star for the entire virtual band concept.

the energy and guitars on this are incredible, but I cannot get into the rush guy's voice
You can call me unimpressed
this album is really good. these guys should do another one like this
I think I still prefer Doolittle but this is better than I remember. Lots of fun songs. Pixies are just not really something I would ever put on as an album personally.
now this is jazz! loved it but have to dock a star for the last track which completely killed the vibe for me
you gotta hand it to em
this one's just not for me!
it's fine. lorde is fine.
The Manyika tracks are the highlight for me. The rest is crazy bland and boring.
OK, look, it's a really good album. But for me this lives in the uncanny valley where it's too old to be novel but too new to evoke nostalgia. I can't separate it from the twee hipster bullshit of the late 2000s, and I've personally heard enough Sufjan for a lifetime already. If you're hearing it for the first time I'm happy for you. Maybe listen to it 1000 times this year and then come back in 20 years and see if you're still giving it 5 stars or whatever.
felt familiar even though I've never heard it
FINALLY a british rock band
damn 2007? this has been in regular rotation for years. certified classic.
this album is like learning a villain's origin story and then you feel bad for them
