1001 Albums Summary

Disc 1 is amazing, disc 2 also has great songs but some disc 2 songs are just ok. Fantastic album nonetheless.

No songs that I would play on purpose, but I’d be happy to listen to most of them on the radio or at a party is they came up

Terrible, sounded like a nightmare before Christmas soundtrack and not in a good way. Very weird songs.

I can see why people love David Bowie but his music just isn’t my thing. Didn’t enjoy listening to the album but it’s undeniably well made and Bowie has undeniable talent

Alright listen, no noteworthy elements to praise. The screaming on scentless apprentice was pretty bad though, didn’t like it at all. This album pales in comparison to Nevermind in every way. Quite a disappointment.

Don’t get why other reviewers absolutely hated it, but I also didn’t love it. A solid three stars, didn’t dislike it but it’s an ok listen. “Someone” is the highlight of the album.

Bad album, didn’t like any of the songs. Doesn’t deserve to be on this list, at least some of the other bad albums were interesting or experimental in some noteworthy way. This one is just bad while being exceptionally boring. Longest 38 minutes of my life. Not as bad as a Tom Waits album, but still a disappointing one star.

Absolutely love Dire Straits, so happy this came up and loved listening to this album again

Great blues style album, really fantastic listen. So glad this popped up, never would have discovered this on my own
