You can feel the energy through the speaker
It just makes you wanna get up and move
The songs toward the end go on a bit long
The grooves are nuts
The blueprint
Interesting sound
Good jams on here I could see people dancing to this in the 80s
I wouldn’t have listened to this if it wasn’t for this site but it’s good to expand the taste

She has such a distinctive singing voice and the instrumentation is grand
Well I mean it’s the Beatles
My favorite band and one of the first albums I ever went out and bought with my own money, but over the years I’ve come to favor albums like Revolver and Let It Be over it. Iconic songs amongst some half baked ones. A classic—essential listening
Solid project
Roundabout is a feat of music and the rest of the album doesn’t really reach the same heights that song does
Feels like a bunch of pretty good or ok songs sandwiched between two prog rock masterpieces
I can see why people like them
The catchier songs I found myself liking and jamming with more than the heavier ones
Not too bad

Trouble seeing how they’re considered one of the
Greatest bands ever
Jack White has a nice voice
A bunch of goats jamming for almost two hours
Not songs I’d go back to often cause of the length but I’m glad I listened to this
One of the first jazz fusion albums — cool funk grooves
Cool ideas but didn’t keep my attention
Had some cool moments but didn’t keep my attention
I can see why it’s influential
Distinctive sound and I like the guitar work
Kind of wears thin by the end
We Will Fall is too long and sounds out of place
I mean, it’s Prince
He’s my favorite artist and this is his weirdest album
Songs go long but the grooves are excellent and his musicianship is excellent
Not my favorite album by him but a brilliant work nonetheless
Solid project
Inviting songwriting and a good first impression of the band
I can see why it’s important
Sounds ahead of its time sonically
Some cool songs but I’d rather listen to the shoegaze stuff this album helped inspire
Great dance music
High energy and unique sounding
If I heard this in the club it would get me to move
I just couldn’t connect with it
Solid gold big band jazz

Picks up towards the end
I liked the track with Pharrell
Not a bad project but I just didn’t connect with it
Unique sound
Some cool ideas on here and some standout tracks
Lovely, soulful album
Her voice reminds me of Joni
Warm and comforting
There’s some really cool songs and sounds on here but some just go on far too long
This album doesn’t need to be over an hour long
I like it though it really picks up in the second half
Rock solid jazz album
Some really cool pockets and the bassist is excellent
All of them are locked in
Most of the album didn’t stand out to me

Brilliant album
Deserving of the flowers it receives and the story behind it is riveting
I like more songs from the Self Titled
Love Steely Dan
My second favorite band
Great debut but they’ve made better
It’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard and one of my favorite albums of all time
This turned them into goats
