The whole thing was fine. I thought it was fairly repetitive.
All I think about is the scene in the office with Michael and Darryl in the moving truck when Darryl is teaching Michael the Blues. It's the same song.
Love this album, so many great songs. It's crazy to think of all the hits he got out of this one.
I really liked this one. I had heard of them but never gave them much thought when I was younger. I should have
I liked this more than I thought I would. I hadn't heard of them at all, but it was right up my alley
I liked this a lot. Felt very blues-rocky to me. Almost a 5
Really not my style. I can respect it and she's very talented but I will likely never listen to it again
Good, fits right in with a lot of the stuff from that era. Considering I had never heard of them and they don't sound out of place next to any of those bands is kind of sad. Surprised they didn't make it bigger
I really liked this one. I have been meaning to listen to more Sonic Youth, I'm glad I did. This was close to a 5 for me.
not as good as the other bob marley album but still excellent
It's fine, just not something I'm ever going to listen to again or really appreciate.
there's no bad excuse for another listen of Nevermind, 6 stars.
super disappointed in this one. 1 star bonus for being 90s
I had 0 clue what to expect with this but it certainly wasn't that. I felt this was the most up and down album so far. Some tracks I was thinking wtf am I listening to while others I really enjoyed. Unlikely to ever listen to it again though
I've heard most of it, but still a great album. No notes.
I did not see this one coming. I kind of assumed I wasn't going to like this but it was funky and fun, definitely enjoyed listening to it. Went through it a couple of times.
This is another one I only knew the hits off of, excellent album all around though. I think Orange Crush might be my favorite REM song.
I didn't hate it but I've been disappointed with the radiohead stuff so far. I don't know much of their catalog so I've been excited to try them
this was just plain boring to me, I couldn't wait to be done with it.
I think this is my favorite album we have done so far. Banger after banger
This was pretty decent, definitely better than I expected
I'll be honest, I listened to 2 songs. This genre is NOT for me
I enjoyed this, classic 70s stuff here
Not a ton to say about this one. I had never heard of them before. I like it, almost a 4, but I don't know that I'll seek them out
Another genre just not for me, I did listen to the whole thing this time though
I don't usually love 80s metal, it's fine, but not my favorite. This was really good. I knew number of the beast well. Hallowed Be Thy Name sounds really familiar to me. I wonder if it was on rock band/guitar hero.
Not much more needs to be said about this. I don't even typically like pop music, but this is another level.
I am pretty sure track 1 is the worst thing I have ever heard. The album has some moments that are okay but this was a tough listen. It reminds me of a french Rammstein but way way way worse.
I didn't expect to like this at all. I was very pleasantly surprised. I don't know what it is, but I was into most of the songs
Dolly actually does my favorite country song (of which I don't like many) but I didn't like this album much at all. It felt whiney and awful. Granted, country has to be my least favorite genre so it's already fighting an uphill battle for me
such a great album, classic from my high school days. Awesome to revisit it. I never really did listen to the whole thing front to back but it's got a lot of hits on it.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I need to listen to more Lenny
somewhere between a 1-2. He's such a bad singer I have a real hard time listening to him. His songs make for great covers though so that's why I went 2.
I've never been a huge beatles fan. I'm sure it was great when they were novel but at this point the music sounds derivative because music is derivative of them. Still a good album though. Lots of hits and I enjoyed listening to it
It's good, I won't really ever seek out this kind of music but it's impressive. I did give it a bonus star because I pictured snoopy the entire time
The 60s music is really just not for me. I like the Boxer, not much else.
More 60s music, I still can't get into it, this is worse.
Love me some reggae, this is another great one.
Love Metallica, love this album, perfect 6 stars. I always get albums mixed up because i almost never just listen to an album, but i didn't realize how many of their big songs was on this one. I also thought Enter Sandman was more recent (like mid to late 90s).
I didn't recognize the artist immediately but as soon Connected started playing I knew instantly. This genre isn't usually up my alley but this was an enjoyable listen.
I liked this a lot. Going into it I was thinking I barely knew any santana songs, and the ones I did know were on this album. Good stuff
60s but I enjoyed it. Was pleasantly surprised. Nothing remarkable about this one though.
60s music strikes again. I still don't love it. The who are pretty good though. Barely makes a 3 for me.
not really up my alley here.
I like the title track and Stand by Me a lot. I knew both of them coming in, but nothing else really stood out as spectacular
I started out enjoying it but it got really samey and boring, next!
Decent listening while working. Won't seek it out to play again though.
Classic stuff here. I hadn't listened to much of them before but this was really good.
This one was decent enough. More stuff I just won't seek out to listen to again
Jazz is gonna be a tough sell for me. It's good but it blends in to the background.
nah
I don't know much about Bowie but I liked this one
I just don't love jazz. As far as jazz goes this seems good though. He's quite talented.
This was better than I expected
There was no subtlety at all with these lyrics, they just felt really try hard to me. The music was okay but the "america is stupid" over and over was jarring, and I'm usually not one to pay much attention to lyrics.
This one varied in quality for me wildly but definitely more good than bad. I had never heard much of prince outside of the hits so this was definitely a fun listen for me
I definitely liked this more than I thought I would.
This whole album is peak 80s. Smash hits and the rest of the songs were great too.
Love me some Jane's Addiction. Jane Says and Mountain Song were the only ones I knew coming in, but the rest were good too.
This isn't quite peak Jimi for me but still really good
This was surprisingly good. I didn't really expect to like it.
This is a pretty average 70s rock album. I enjoy it well enough.
I didn't expect to love this nearly as much as I did. I need to listen to more Stevie
finally some good 60s music. I think they do get better from this album but it's still really good
I honestly barely listened to this, but there might not be a genre that is worse for me.
This showed promise but fell really hard really fast. I can’t quite give it a 1 but it’s extremely close
Very much blended into the background for me. I didn't hate it but I won't be listening again.
This was a really fun album. I was surprised that the covers were done just a year after the initial release. Usually the songs get a little time to breathe before they're covered.
Decent 60s music but still not totally up my alley
This was surprising and really good! I have never heard of them before which is kind of surprising. This music fits right in with everything else that was popular.
loved this all the way through, almost a 5
This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to find with this project. Newerish music that I hadn't heard before but is really good.
Pretty okay overall. I liked a few of the songs, really disliked a few as well, but overall I could listen to it while working.
This was excellent, I had only known the radio hits but the rest was really good
I really liked this a lot. Most of the songs had me rockin and I had to look at what it was, then I remembered I was still listening to this. The super deluxe was like 30 songs, not sure if the original was as well.
Obviously Layla is the standout here, but plenty of others were very good as well.
Docked 1 star for Clapton being a dick
The album as a whole was good and very much listenable. Some of it was kind of boring but Rikki reminds me of my mom so the album is getting a 4.
Good album, Psycho Killer was the only one I knew before.
I like most of this, only knew brimful of asha before this. There were just a few really weird tracks sprinkled in there I didn't much care for bringing it down to a 4 for me.
Prince has typically not been my favorite, but this project has me kind of coming around on him. A lot of the videos I've seen of his live performances are on a completely different tier too.
meh, not really my thing, I can appreciate the experimentation though
I liked this radiohead album much better than the rest so far. Karma Police, Paranoid Android, No Surprises and Airbag are bangers, the rest is meh but not awful.
Not really much to say. It fits right in with what I typically listen to. Good stuff.
I have always thought the beatles were way over rated. I don't think they're bad, just not the greatest gift to music to be universally loved.
I do think they generally suffer from being the first to do so many things that have become so commonplace that it's not novel anymore.
That said, almost all of my favorite beatles songs are on this album. I can't give it a 5 because there are a bunch of songs I really do no like. Come Together, Something, I Want You, Here Comes The Sun are peak music. The rest, I don't care as much for.
This is right up my alley, Last Nite is one of the best. I have only really heard their radio songs, but all of these are very good.
It's fine for what it is, but really not my thing.
They managed to take everything I dislike about 60s music and modernize it. Pass.
I liked this better than I thought I would though still not a ton
