Brothers by The Black Keys
Jun 30 2026

I like The Black Keys, I like their style and many songs of theirs I would recommend to others, so I was looking forward to dive into their discography. Unfortunately, besides a couple of songs, this album is not one of those I'd recommend. It's not that it's bad; it just feels like half of the album is missing: after "Howlin' for You" it gets forgettable, it gets repetitive, it loses the punch the first songs built up. Don't get me wrong, overall the album is not bad. It's definitely more of a background though: an enjoyable one, but still a background.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jul 01 2026

I'm not the biggest fan of either the genre or the artist, I had to listen to the album twice to start enjoying it. Definitely deserves its spot on the list, that's for sure. But still, it didn't make me see the magic others see in Kanye.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Jul 03 2026

Album that suffers from the "you listened to one song, you listened to them all" syndrome. Enjoyable but anonymous, it's 2.5 stars at best.

Dookie by Green Day
Jul 07 2026
The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Jul 09 2026

Album definitely too deep for a single listen, it feels like I was not able to fully appreciate it. Will be more thoroughly revisited in the future, maybe when other Kate Bush albums come up.

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Jul 10 2026

I was really looking forward to listen to this album, when it popped up aaand... kind of a bummer. It feels wrong though: gotta go with a 3 and a promise to myself that I'll revisit it.

25 by Adele
Jul 13 2026

Skipped through it, I promise to myself that I'll revisit this record sometime in the future.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Jul 16 2026

Initially I gave this album a 2-star rating and a promise to revisit it. Well, I revisited it and surely it does not deserve to be a 2-star rated album.

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
Jul 17 2026

It feels like this album deserves more - I'll surely revisit it.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 21 2026

Over the past few years, every time I looked at Fleetwood Mac I always thought that "overrated": I could not understand why Rumours was so widely praised, why Dreams had a decillion listens on every streaming platform and I could not see the magic everyone seemed to find in this album and this band. However, recently I gave this album the shot it deserved and really sat through listening to it. And still, I feel like I partially can't understand - but at least I added a 5-star album to my collection.

The Grand Tour by George Jones
Jul 23 2026

3.5: definitely not bad, it's just not a genre of music I'd listen to all day.

Bad by Michael Jackson
Jul 27 2026

Not bad. In fact, it's kind of the opposite of "bad".

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Aug 03 2026

Took me a couple of full listens to start appreciating the genre and the album. Not gonna lie, I love the record.

Countdown To Ecstasy by Steely Dan
Aug 05 2026

I sit and wonder why I never heard of Steely Dan before.

California by American Music Club
Aug 07 2026

A fine record, would definitely buy a vinyl of it.

Tommy by The Who
Aug 11 2026
Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Aug 20 2026

A rather interesting album: not something you'd listen to all day every day, but the kind of genre that carves out its niche moment where it does deserve to be listened to, a kind of vibe on its own.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Aug 24 2026
Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Aug 26 2026
Aug 31 2026

Not the biggest fan of Queen, but can't say it's not enjoyable.

Play by Moby
Sep 01 2026
Sep 07 2026

Never been a fan but, rather unexpectedly, I find myself to deem it worthy of 4 stars? How? Does that mean I actually like Coldplay? Man.....

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Sep 08 2026

There's only one rating for this album.

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Sep 11 2026
Synchronicity by The Police
Sep 15 2026

Not gonna lie, I was relieved when the album ended. However, Every Breath You Take is just the classic it is. Not a bad album, I just don't like it. I'm not their biggest fan, I don't like the sound and I don't really like Sting. I don't know, I just don't like their songs.
