Smooth classic jazz that would be great while reading or background dinner music.

Very beatle-esqe. I never really listened to much of the early Kinks, but still enjoyable.

A masterful tour de force of funky soulful grooves. Africano is a great funky instrumental that stands out. The first two songs two songs on this album represent some of their best work.

I've heard a few of these songs when I was a kid in the 70s. It's a crime that i waited this long to hear this album after all of these years. Very well written melodies. At 57, I finally understand what the beef was with Lynard Skynard...."I hope Neil Young will remember..." Anyway, loved the album!

Convinced she is getting residuals from Starbucks. Well-crafted moody jazz, but honestly seemed to be variations on the same melodies. Somewhat snoozy.

I recognized Cut Your Hair, but not much else . Maybe I have to listen to it more to grow on me, but otherwise I didn't get the adoration. Seemed lazy and unfinished.

I'm not a huge country fan, but I have to give respect to the three powerhouse female vocalists. It was well produced and the harmonies were amazing. It's only fitting that this album was suggested on the day Dolly passed. Rest in piece Dolly.

A rock, blues, and gospel infused album. I never really listened to Nick Cave and was pleasantly surprised.

Alot of great hits and an album that feels like a warm blanket of nostalgia. Love Stipe's voice.

An energetic blend of rock, blues, punk, and grunge. The singer is a blend of Mick Jagger, Jack Black, and a dash of Elvis. Some songs were too experimental for me that prevented me from giving a 5.

Very budget Bowie. I am a fan of 70s rock and was eager to listen to something I really never listened to before, but I got bored. Sorry fellas.

Dark and broody debut, but a great album that influenced rock, alternative, and industrial music. Peter Hook was fantastic to see in concert. Amazing bass lines that keep the tracks moving.

Young energetic soundtrack of my youth. Sold alot of speakers in my home audio days using this disc to demo them. Fresh funky and fun. RHCP at their peak. Flea truly is one of the best bassists.

Michael at his best. The impact this album had on culture was immense and solidified him as a pop icon. Quincy Jones, Toto, Paul McCartney, and even Vincent Price contributed to its success. Every song seems to be a hit. The videos this album generated put MTV on the map and to this day, we listen to Thriller every Halloween. Must have in any record collection.

Amazing vocals that so many try to emulate today. She is a classic. Just so sad that her demons got the best of her and we will never know more of her music. Timeless.

Pretty much a whole album that sounds like " You Got A Friend In Me." Very ragtime and harks back to an old fashioned style of music, but not my cup of tea.

I really haven't listened to a full Black Sabbath album to be honest. But as far as heavy metal goes, this was an amazing album. It was dark, happy, sad, melodic, and full of great guitar work. This album is a testament to the great Ozzy Osbourne and truly shows off why his voice was so important in rock. He will be missed. Changes will make you cry, knowing how Yungblood performed it in tribute to Ozzy.

Full of classic hits that take me back to driving in the car with my parents. Fun, catchy, rock songs. Loved it!

If you could mix in part John Wick movie, part roof top bar downtown, and part shopping for jeans at Abercrombie, then you would have this soulless mess.

Classic songs and classic album.

One of Bruce's most commercially successful and powerful albums. It was a staple of the 80's and on constant radio and MTV rotation. A songwriter that reflects the common working class in the USA. One of his best.

Great songwriting and singing by a classic. However, I don't think it was one of his best, compared to Graceland for example.

Well written country/folk, but not my cup of tea.

This is the Mt. Olympus of classic rock. Every song on here is melodic and is filled grand arrangements, roaring guitars, and a voice I wish I could replicate. More Than a Feeling is one of my favorite songs ever. I cant stop myself from cranking it on the car radio when it comes on. Loved it.

Ethereal, operatic, 80s synth pop with a drum machine. Still well crafted.

Cash is an icon. Great songs with some funny banter since at a prison.He will always be a classic, even though I'm not a huge country fan.

Very orchestral and well crafted debut alternative album by a great band. Soaring vocals and choruses. Melodic and satisfying.

Great fusion of alternative, rock, jazz, and progressive music. Very talented bunch of musicians. Enjoyed even though I have never heard of them before.

Great listen and fun. Blondie is a band that achieved stellar success from the punk and new wave era of music. Every song is catchy with great guitar and drum work. Heart of Glass brings back alot of memories because I can still hear my mother singing that song while I was in the back seat of the car as it played on the radio. That album cover was everywhere as I walked through the album collections at Kmart, Sears, Venture, etc.

Finally, a Beatles album! Of course, I going to have to be biased here, because they are my favorite band ever. There are lovely ballads, rock songs, psychedelic songs, Indian- influenced songs, and quirky songs (I still think Yellow Submarine was my Wiggles when I was a boy and was written for that age group). I know each and every song on this album and is a standard that I may subconsciously measure every album I listen too on here.

It's great background music, but somewhat soulless and repetitive.

It's a bit boring. This is my first listen through of this band and I was at least hoping "Missing" was on this one. Still a few good beats to give a chill vibe.

A great dark and Gothic intro to the band with alot of minor chord written melodies. Not their best in my opinion. The only song from this album that I recognized was A Forest.

Very bluesy introduction to the Stones. Loved it even though I didnt recognize most of the music as being huge hits for them.

A great, soulful voice wasted on booty and p***y songs. I wanted to like it, but a huge distraction that she didn't need to sing about. Her talent is above the lyrics.

Ahhhhhaaaaa, we are the budget Beatles, ahhhhhaaaaa. It's like they listened to Sgt. Pepper and said, let's do the SAME thing but only crappier and with completely unremarkable songs. Let's even......(ahhhaaaa) use sitars, (ahhhaaaa) use the same John and Paul singing voices, (ahhhhhhaaaahhhh) Ringo drum beats, and (ahhhhaaaaaahhhahahaaaa), even use similar lyrics. It's a bloody disaster.

What's not to love? My favorite band, making my favorite music. Every song is catchy and pleasant. I grew up loving the movie and the music is icing on the cake. This is the best band in history. I know some may find it old fashioned compared to today's rock, but I still love it for it's innocence. We need more songs about love. This is a time capsule thats captures brilliance in a bottle.

I wanted this album to be closer to one of my favorite albums "So". It wasn't. It was his debut and was very experimental to be sure. I wanted it to have more "Solsbury Hill" caliber songs, which is easily one of his best. He is an amazing artist overall , and his voice can be incredibly soothing at times.

Incredible songwriting and harmonies. I didn't think this album would take me back to my childhood when my dad drove the car, and I sat in the backseat on long trips. Thanks for the memory.

A great album that displays the great guitar work of Eric Clapton, a guitar god. Layla is one of those songs that you cannot turn off when it's on the radio. The blues influences are very clear and give homage to those roots.

I wanted to hate it because it was sooooo commercially successful, but I loved her voice. Very soulful textured, and emotional.

Very reminiscent of early REM but the songs aren't as good and the singer sounds terrible, like a budget Stipe.

Amazing, fun, blues, rock album by the Stones. It has two of my favorite songs, "Gimme Shelter" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want". It gets a 5 for it's replayabilty as well.

Take he same two measures of music and extend it for 4 minutes, add some echo and chorus to your voice, and drone on. Rinse repeat.

Started hopeful. Shades of Peter Gabriel. However, devolved into fun with a loop machine. Falsetto is unbearable. Also, sounds like the base player was off that day, so I'll just hum the part. Dull.

Fun after some real clunkers lately. Didn't understand a word, but a happy vibe.
