Great album that we already have on CD and Vinyl. I'll rock it post haste
Better than I remember, some solid sleepers.
It was fair, maybe just heard a bunch of others who followed in path.
Solid. Old, interesting, groovy and a fusion of different styles.
Great stuff and Robbie's a mensch but entirely pop which is not my bag.
Great listen, makes their evolution even more interesting to follow.
Cool country, but overall, not really my thing.
Mellow but cool album with 1 hit.
Didn't realize Titanium Expose was on this one.
Solid blues with some great guest appearances.
Master Bluesman practicing his craft
It was so overplayed at the time that I kind of blocked it out, but it's or course better than I remembered, with many more deep tracks showing a maturing artist with a deep bag of songwriting and playing and a tightly assembled crew.
Already on the cusp of greatness. "Can't Stop Til You Get Enough" should have been the clue that deep grooves were imminent.
Some great ones and many good
A masterpiece in a string of masterpieces.
Bob's singing at it's prototypical
Beautiful spazzy jams mixed with with some more melodics.
Good, what you would expect from the Kinks, a couple of radio friendly unit movers along with some more experimentals.
Cool, but not really my thing.
Certainly a top 10 album of all time.
Froggy Blues, good stuff.
Alone again tonight or is nice
Some good songs lead off by perhaps the greatest song ever written.
Fun album, more songs I recognized than I thought.
Love it. Great jazz album.
The most Johnny Cash move ever
Some solid ones and as expected, lot's of little interesting jams.
9 unsuccessful jazz albums on Columbia and then Atlantic and Jerry Wexler roll out the MF Queen of Soul. RS said "It rings out like revealed truth happening in real time, a declaration of independence." A masterpiece.
Old school hip hop from the Queen.
A great find. I was not that familiar with Paul Simon outside his major hits and radio songs from Graceland. A lot of the roots of that album here, good songcraft, an interesting variety of rhythms and instrumentation.
White heat with barely a cigarette paper in between songs. Must have blow people away and pissed them off simultaneously.
Big band not really my thing, but there were some nice jazzier numbers. Quite the crowd, one of the tracks is Riot Prevention and I get the sense it literally was. Must have been a scene.
Some quality headbanging, but not my thing.
