Hunky Dory
David Bowiethe first of (i assume) many bowie albums. more mellow than his later ziggy and aladdin sane records. beautiful and soulful melodies. the first half is somewhat stronger than the latter.

honestly pretty close in quality to ''nevermind''
nothing spectacular and her voice is a bit irritating at times
a unique and somewhat soporific album. far too lengthy and unfocused/meandering to really stand out, but it makes for an interesting listen nevertheless.
might be overrated but the impact it had is undeniably huge
more of a 3.5/5, consistently solid
lush and grandiose, a classic elo album
a unique and somewhat soporific album. far too lengthy and unfocused/meandering to really stand out, but it makes for an interesting listen nevertheless.
cohesive and well-crafted
among the greatest pop albums of all time. an almost perfect run, with the only lackluster song being the ''girl is mine''.
3.5/5
the first of (i assume) many bowie albums. more mellow than his later ziggy and aladdin sane records. beautiful and soulful melodies. the first half is somewhat stronger than the latter.
pretty corny
sounds somewhat dated but it is decently groovy
fun and polished listen
pretty nice album, nothing that stands out too much
generally an interesting and enjoyable listen. feels disjointed at times. and the cover, well, speaks for itself
an album composed entirely of mildly enjoyable guitar solos
an all around great album
sparse and soothing
full of the 80s synthy excess. really catchy.
abrasive and somewhat outdated. some lyrics just fall flat and sound edgy for nothing
nothing noteworthy
not quite a 4 star. their more acclaimed efforts are more distinctive and impactful, but this one is still enjoyable to listen to.
easily listenable, no stand outs
enjoyable and catchy. maybe not as refined as their later works but a top jazz rock album nonetheless.
nicely varied, very fun listen
detached and lamenting
a worthy addition to the wu-tang repertoire, stays consistently solid, with good delivery. run time is just too long though.
great and groovy
immaculate vibes
talented for sure but i don't think i need a 2 hour long listen
might be overrated but the impact it had is undeniably huge
déroutant mais intéressant. une courte histoire assez obscène, avec un son expérimental.
solid 3.5/5
morose
easy listen
honestly pretty close in quality to ''nevermind''
almost a 4 star. very strong start but the end lost me
it's ok
there's some pretty good stuff in here, some interesting mash ups of different genres, but i find most of it too irritating to really appreciate.
one of the dan's best. close in quality to the royal scam.
bland, forgettable, 2.5/5
nothing special except the title track
decent 3.5/5
very interesting listening experience
catchy, but also comes from a certified scumbag
pretty run of the mill but rather enjoyable
nothing notable
country schlock, not inherently unlistenable but surely doesn't deserve a place on this list.
an obviously incredible album that is hugely influential. stays palatable through almost 2 hours of back to back bangers. a great listen that channels overwhelming joy and soulfulness. could possibly be trimmed up a bit, but since this was stevie's last hurrah of sorts, where he put out every single idea he had, it deserves a 5 star for the sheer quality of the work.
doesn't quite justify the length but there's plenty of solid stuff in here.
classic, banana
pretty cool voice
pretty unique, makes me feel like a landlubber
my least favourite jimi hendrix album but a banger nonetheless
solid
good listen, gets a bit stale
grating, unique, not a bad listen overall
decent rough punk
nothing too special, pretty fun
l'un des rares albums francais de la liste. inoffensif, assez plaisant à écouter et bonne énergie. mais surement il y avait meilleur dans son catalogue que ce live album?
has some synthy instrumentals but is extremely cheesy and dated
outkast doesn't miss, still would've liked for aquemini to be on here too
obviously nothing special, but it's a cohesive, decently enjoyable album.
not bad
decent, kinda mixes up together after a while
kinda overhated, it's pretty decent
a bit better than the previous one, still pretty unremarkable
peak 60s psychedelia
not bad
not the biggest fan of the vocals but appreciated the experimentation and instrumentals
meh
not quite as good as ''ram'' but comes in at a solid second
nothing spectacular and her voice is a bit irritating at times
not bad
decent but drags on and doesn't stand out much, don't really see the point of including this on the list
grandiose, majestic sounding stuff
solid album overall, has some less enjoyable moments but better than ''reggatta de blanc''
consistent, no stand outs but an enjoyable listen
generally solid
entrancing atmosphere top review is wild though
some interesting beats
unremarkable
certainly deserves its flowers, but not in my beatles top 3
pretty good though subdued, nice blend of genres
talented but bland
catchy as hell
a classic, just didn't resonate with it that much
solid with some nice electronic instrumentals, 3.5 stars
decent collection of songs
an all timer with a classic medley. obviously one of their best.
a solid psychedelic rock album, among the first to start the genre
a good time though less polished than their other albums
iconic
consistently good, but i definitely won't be coming back to this
solid
pretty much on par with velvet projects
pretty harmless
rather dated but not unenjoyable
unremarkable
