Five Leaves Left
Nick DrakeOne of the smoothest vocalists. Guitar playing is mesmerizing. Introspective and dreamy

This is a great record. Stan Getz is incredible, amazing tone. The guitar work is sweet too. Rhythms keep the whole thing groovin’

Poetic visions take you for a ride. I like the dynamics of the songs. Emotional and punchy. I dug it
Texture Titans. I understand why fans say this is their favorite album. A band I occasionally dive into and am glad to come back around to them. They are sonic decorators/soundscape travelers. Wayne expresses it all so simply. Great work
Classic. Almost every song on this album was a hit. Great song writing and lyrics
Such a powerful voice in terms of vocals and guitar. I love the in between banter and the crowd reactions. One of the most influential and important blues albums
Ooof. This was a tough one to get through. Not my jam
There are a couple tracks I enjoyed. Her voice opens up further into the album. Sweet singing
Classic. Theatrical rock with Meatloaf belting it out. Interesting arrangements and backup vocals
Solid album. I liked the guitar tones and effects. Groovy bass lines. Tight drums.
It was alright. Probably wouldn’t listen again
This is like punk rock Rolling Stones. I enjoyed the energy on the songs. Wild and fun vocals
What a wild ride. So many different paths to travel. Chaotic/serene. Fast/slow. Beautiful solo parts by every instrument and then collision of group effort. One of a kind
Classic 60’s psychedelic album. I can’t say too much about it. It’s a good listen but I don’t often go back to it. I like the acoustic guitar and chord progressions. Solid
Great live album. Amazing energy and playing by everyone. Got better and better as it went
Powerhouse of an album is
Jeff Beck doing his thing with great vox by Rod Stewart
Solid songwriting. Important topics and messages
Eh
I haven’t listened to Dolly Parton very much. This album is awesome. Pretty funky bass parts at times and the songs came off as psychedelic rock/old country collisions. Wonderful singing of course
Such a vibe. Pretty much perfect. Vocals are spot on and all the instruments blend so well. Very playful but very tight compositions
Gritty and energetic. This is an album that has grown on me over time. I’ve tried many times to get into the Stones. I appreciate the writing and melodies they provide, yet are they a band I’d go back to listen to? I can’t say for sure at this time. I think they will eventually click for me. Either way it’s a solid album
Elvis is alright
A wild fever dream of intense over produced synth sounds. Intriguing though I must admit. Prince like at times but the instruments sound so tinny. It’s so weird. I like the vocals. Especially the harmonies and catchy double vocal parts/backup singing
This was pretty sweet. Fusion on top of fusion. Loved the arrangements and vocals. Will definitely check out some more R.D. Burman
Grandaddy mixed with The Beach Boys. Not nearly as interesting to me though. This was a hard one to get through for some reason. It’s like cheap indie psych rock. Looked up a live performance and was even more disappointed. Eh it’s okay
One of the best albums ever written. Pink Floyd are incredible sound appreciators. Such patience and thought put into each transition. I love the reoccurring themes. A tribute to a dear friend.
Catchy riffs. Cool solos. This was a fun album to listen to. Sweet Emotion is one of the best songs ever
Wanted to like it more than I did. I’m sure there’s a mood to be in to enjoy it but I wasn’t in that mood
This is groovy. I love the rhythms
Nah
So funking good. Classic
It’s The Beatles. Easy 5
…so uh yeah
Experimental madman. Making sounds and going far out in every direction
I randomly bought this CD a long time ago. I don’t know if I’ve ever listened to it in one sitting. It has its moments
I really enjoyed this album. Sent me on a journey through more of their stuff and artists like them
I enjoy the production of this. Gets a bit repetitive but the arrangements are interesting
Hmmm yeah idk. Just for how big of an explosion this band had I’ll give it a 3. However, let’s subtract 1 because I think they screwed up the indie band influence for a while there
One of my favorite albums. Super melodic voyages. I could listen to this one over and over
The OG record. Somehow never really listened to this one but loved their following records. So raw. Simple at times but punchy and fun. Grungy and I don’t care who reads this I like Meg White’s drumming
That’s going to be a no for me dawg
Great music to nothing and everything too. Chill and explorative. I’ll probably check out more from them
I really enjoyed this. Great lyrics/cool messages. I liked the live performance from Chappelle show towards the end
It’s alright. Was kinda into the lyrics until he started saying some shitty things. Not as good as the other one I listened to
Beautiful voice. Top notch vocal arrangements. I really liked listening to this
I tried
Supreme album
Not my cup of tea but the vocals are intriguing at times. Drums are insane/incredible
Yeah I would listen to this again. Dang good
So freakin’ good. Poetic and weird. One of my favorite voices
Flawless in my opinion. I love Neil.
Mmm yeah. Sing me the blues Muddy
Absolutely incredible. 19 years old when he made this…woah. This is a prime example of an album that should be listened to before you die
Another home run from Bowie. Definitely an album of his that made me want to dive deeper into his music
Brings me back to when I was a teen. Lots of catchy hits. These guys were on a big wave back then. It’s a good album but I can’t get into it fully. All These Things I’ve Done is a timeless song
When it first started I was a bit intrigued. Vocals got old pretty fast and kind of wished it was an instrumental after a while
I’ve come across this album before. Safe From Harm is such a groovy song. I like the song Five Man Army but other than that idk…it gets a bit cheesy for me. I always enjoyed the conspiracy that Bansky is the singer from Massive Attack
Super sweet. Love the guitar tone and the playing is top notch. Yeahhhh Mark
Mesmerizingly beautiful. I could listen to this every day. I wish it was more accessible online though
This was kinda cool. Tempos were all similar which at first I thought was annoying but grew on me over time
Classic. Great production by Dr. Dre. Some of the lyrics were ridiculous but still a vibe
This was refreshing. Beautiful stuff
Uhh am I starting to like electronica music? This is darn good
This was pretty groovy. I liked the variety of the songs. Cool writing and sampling
This band reminds me of an old friend who liked them. A decent group never really my full vibe but I like a few of their songs. I really like Say Something Loving on this album. They had sweet performances back on Jools Holland’s show back in the day
Cool riffs. Quirky punk with catchy vocals. I liked it more than I thought I would
Such a fun album. I remember seeing them during the tour of this album. This got many plays when I was a kid. I never got into much past this album but I loved all their others records
This album was huge when I was younger. Had its angst and appeal at moments. Now that I’m older it’s a little like woahhh is this what was going into the younger generations brain? Catchy songs, sweet vocals, I like the guitar mixing but damn it’s a bummer album
The vocals crack me up
Such a wonderful dreamy vibe. I’ll be checking out more of their stuff
Maybe their best album. So damn good. The Pixies always make me so happy. Such pure weirdness and no fucks given about how to write a song. I love this album
Great production. Killer flows. I enjoyed most of this
Pink Floydesque. Chill stuff. Kinda weird. I’ve come across Air before. Interesting band
