1999 by Prince
Jan 07 2025
Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jan 08 2025

Other than Disintegration, the only other Cure album I've really listened to is Greatest Hits, in which i held the opinion that A Forest is one of the best produced songs ever made. 17 Seconds definitely has good production, but I feel i need to listen to it several more times to fully appreciate it.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jan 23 2025

Not my cup of tea.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Feb 05 2025

The singles are great. The album tracks are fillers

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Feb 12 2025

Im pretty terrible at any musical instrument despite how much I wish I wasn't. This album shows me I should stop worrying about my skill level.

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Feb 18 2025

This started out with promise - the first song was a nice Radio 2 pop song. The album then devolved into b-side quality before settling on some jazz jams.

Guero by Beck
Mar 10 2025

Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the music.

Different Class by Pulp
Mar 13 2025

This was way better than I was expecting as i never really got into Britpop. I knew a couple of the singles and thought they were decent but I enjoy the album too. Coming of age songs that feel relatable and mainly hold up (as long as you ignore the reference to beepers), this album will help other people who still feel 20 years younger than they actually are to feel 20 years younger than they actually are

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Mar 19 2025
Truth by Jeff Beck
Mar 21 2025
Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Mar 24 2025

Dunno if it's just my age, but it's just noise to me. After a track and a half, I skipped to the one song I'd heard of to see if it might explain why the Pixies had achieved a place on this list. It gave a little redemption, but can't say I'd ever listen to this album all the way through

Faith by George Michael
Mar 26 2025
Ramones by Ramones
Mar 27 2025

I love Blitzkreig Bop, but never got around to listening to any other Ramones. Think I'll just stick with Blitzkreig Bop tbh

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Apr 03 2025
Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 07 2025
Harvest by Neil Young
Apr 15 2025
Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Apr 21 2025

I can appreciate the talent and skill here, but it isn't for me

evermore by Taylor Swift
Apr 24 2025

Bit samey tbh, started to feel sleepy whilst listening

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
May 09 2025

I can definitely hear shades of Echo and the Bunnymen and The Cure in this album. Probably wouldn't listen again as no one track truly stands out to me, but not bad.

xx by The xx
May 13 2025

My guess is the average XX fan sits in the corner of an independent coffee shop, reading the Bell Jar, spends his days patronising women and thinking he is superior for listening to the XX

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
May 15 2025

I think id have loved this when I was 19 and full of angst and a superiority complex. Its not bad, but doesn't fit my tastes anymore.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
May 16 2025
Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
May 20 2025
Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi
Jun 04 2025

The singles are great. The rest is pretty filler.

Rocks by Aerosmith
Jun 06 2025
Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jun 18 2025

Welcome to the Machine is one of the best songs ever written

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jun 30 2025

Not a group I've listened to before, but im guessing this is where Pale Waves got their inspiration from

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Jul 02 2025

Leonard Cohen really just wrote two songs and called it a day, didnt he? All the same cadence, some short, some long. No variation in tone. How he became so revered as a songwriter is beyond me
