Raps not my thing but if I’m going to listen to rap this is a style I don’t mind. Enjoyed quite a few songs. But holy cow I don’t have the attention span for that entire album it had like 27 long songs. Did not finish.

Nice background music while working, feels like Jungle got a lot of inspiration from Portishead. Good for when you want something different.

Great 90's album. Grace, Lover you should've come over, Eternal Life all stood out in addition to Hallelujah of course. Good variety of songs, some strong jam blues influence, some grunge feel. Musical variety and composition was great.

Just fantastic. Queen is unique and extravagant in the best ways.

This is one of the weirdest things I've ever listened to. It's like if Mystery Science Theater was turned into music made by depressed theater kids doing too many drugs. I don't think I'm cool enough for this album. Parts were enjoyable, but it is unlikely that I'll ever listen to this again.

This is pretty cool album. Everyone remembers Heads Will Roll, but there are some other bangers on there too. Dull Life is great.

3.5 stars. Some good ones on here. Traveling Man is a blast. A better place to live, cheesy but accurate, if only people understood that one. She Never Met a Man was great. Love that you can clearly hear the bass and it is a driving instrument in a lot of these songs. Would listen again.

I like Björk, but honestly this album was just a little too weird for me to really enjoy. It never really got into a rhythm, and never drew me in. People who like weird artsy vocals probably love this album.

One of my favorite albums. Such good instrumentals, tons of feeling throughout.

Quite enjoyed this. Relay was great. Ladies was a nice slow groove that showed off her voice. Heavy Balloon is a banger. There was a lot of variety between songs with a lot of blues influence. The lyrics absolutely capture your attention. Refreshingly different.

First three songs are bangers. Rest of the album kind of wanders and doesn’t really do it for me.

Nice moments, totally fine. Just kinda boring overall, but generally quite nice. Dusty’s vocals are still great.

Enjoyed some songs more than others, quite liked Stoned to Say the Least and Nothing Can Stop Us.

Oof, not my favorite. All kinda sounds the same, but disjointed at times and lacking in rhythm and melody.

So good, can't believe I haven't listened to this whole album before. Starts off fast and catchy. Great melodies throughout, fun instrumental use. Another album that I have the feeling of being weird enough to be interesting and different, to catch your attention, but not so weird that it's distracting or hard to enjoy. Love how Tentative Decisions closes with a piano jam. The Book I Read has a great intro. Overall fantastic album.

Enjoyed this more than I expected to. Death Don't have no Mercy was great, but the album did drag a bit at times. Overall enjoyable listen.

Alright pretty fun album. Orange Skies and She Comes in Colors were good, had that distinctive 60's sound. Revelation was great with some really enjoyable instrumental bits and solos throughout.

Beautiful album, really fantastic songwriting. I was torn between 4 and 5 starts, because it didn't quite have that wow factor that captures you for the entirety of the album. I ultimately decided it was a 5 star album because every song is really fantastic even if they don't wow you. I love a good piano driven album. You can really hear how talented of a songwriter Carole is.

I mean I think it's just not for me, but trying to listen objectively. Couple songs with good rhythm and melodies, some good bass lines. I liked Juicy, Big Poppa, and Respect. But overall, I was just bored for most of this album. I am definitely not a fan of all the random conversations and sex sounds? mixed in throughout the album. Not everything is for everyone and that's okay, this album just wasn't for me.

I enjoyed this one. Decent variety, some weird, unique and rougher rock songs that I loved. Chemical world was a chaotic blast. Oily Water was great.

Mary's Place stood out on this album. Overall music was really enjoyable.

I have never really understood the intensity with which Radiohead fans will scream at you about how good Radiohead is. It was fine. Some of the musical aspects were pretty cool, some jazz inspired instrumentals. I am not a fan of the kind of "droning" singing style of this album. It felt like all the lyrics were long, droning notes, and sad sounding. Overall, just pretty boring.

Good album, interesting to hear their shift in sound from the more mellow style of "My Girl" to a more funk sound with songs like I Gotta Find a Way and Cloud Nine. Thoroughly enjoyed Cloud Nine, I Gotta Find A Way, Runaway Child, Running Wild.

Enjoyable and interesting album, mix of early jangle pop and sad British guy, a bit Smiths-like. Speedboat and Rattelsnakes were standouts. Really liked the string instruments mixed in throughout the album. 3.5 stars.

Enjoyed it quite a bit. Like The Arctic Monkeys with a bigger sound, but less catchy.

4.5 stars. Really well made pop album. Has a few absolute bangers, a couple earworms (Rumor has it will be in my head all day) and some beautiful piano ballads. Adele's voice is unique and amazing as always, and never too show-boaty. Her vocals always seem to match the song well. Main thing holding it back from 5 stars is that it just didn't evoke any intense emotional response that makes an album really stick with me. Its almost too polished for that. Great listen though.

Such a rad album. Super unique with fantastic variety, never boring. Sure Shot, Sabotage, Heart Attack Man are kind of what you expect from the Beastie Boys and again super cool songs. Then Sabrosa comes in as a groovy instrumental. The Update has beautiful lyrics (I think society missed the message on this one). Futterman's Rule is an absolute funky jam and might be my favorite song on the album, love the keys.

Some pretty rad moments. Big Sleep was great with a fantastic bass line. I can see how this would have been a very influential album for the next couple decades.

Pokin around was probably my favorite song on the album. Cool raw, rushed sound, not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed it. Nothing earth shattering though.

Such a rad album. More variety and catchier than I expected. Feels like such a good pop rock album all the way through, really well made but never feels so polished to be boring. I know but I know was an unexpected jam. The instrumentals and solos mixed in on all the songs are great, really enjoyed how a song might go from kind of light and boppy, to being heavy and full of guitar riffs. 11:59 builds so well and changes tone throughout. Will anything happen gets kind of heavy with a great drum solo. Overall the guitar riffs were great, vocals were great and suited the music, fantastic album.

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Pink Floyd... In theory I should love them, it's right up my alley. But everytime I listen to them I end up thinking was this 3 minute boring intro to this song necessary? And the answer is no, it was not. I mean Young Lust is such a cool, fantastic song. Then two songs later you have Don't Leave me now which is a 4 minute slog through nothing. Yes I get it's thematic, and the whole thing goes together to create an overall experience. But man some of this album is super boring, and then some of it is super good. Mixed bag of feelings on this one for sure. Overall though, I love a lot of this album and the good songs far outweigh the boring ones, so it still gets 4 stars since the high moments are pretty high.

Cool, very bluesy Dylan album. Enjoyed a lot of it, Cold Irons Bound was solid.

I haven't listened to much Supertramp. Enjoyed a lot of this, I'm a fan of the piano heavy pop rock style of music. Album starts off super strong with School and Bloody Well Right. The album lags a little as it goes on, but overall solid album.

Love it, Janis's voice so unique and absolutely incredible.

Is this the best album of all time? I don't know, but it's certainly in my top 5. What a thing of beauty. Everything that could be said about this album has already been said, there's not much for me to add. Just going to say that I absolutely love this album.

Enjoyed a lot of this, actually liked it more than the other Dusty album on the list. The fact that some of the best songs on the album are covers holds it back from a 4th star for me though.

Well, like they said on the album, this ones not for me. And that's okay! Different strokes for different folks and whatnot.

Some great lyrics here. Stand out songs were Life's a bitch, The world is yours, and It Ain't Hard to Tell.

Enjoyed the variety and elements or rock, R&B and rap all on one album. Some of the musicianship on drums and bass is really cool.

Love the raw energy on this album. The early heavy punk sound is rad and some of these songs make you want to run through a wall.

What a nice surprise. Had never listened to Nick Cave outside of Red Right Hand thanks to Dumb and Dumber. Loved this album. Good variety. Some amazing high energy songs with a huge sound. Love an upbeat piano based song. Clever lyrics. This album is both made well made and makes you feel something. It's also just kind of different and feels like a breath of fresh air. Standout songs include: Get Ready for Love Hiding All Away (personal favorite) There She Goes, My Beautiful World Nature Boy Supernaturally Carry Me

Otis's voice is so unique, he has an enchanting way of singing. Loved the album, but just can't give 5 stars to an album composed of mostly covers, so this gets 4 stars.

Loved the early punk/ska with horns sound. Energy was great.

Overall not bad, a little all over the place.. A few songs stood out to me much more than others. Tides was fantastic, will listen to that one again. Enjoyed the piano heavy bits.

Whenever I listen to Iron Maiden I remember that I should be listening to more Iron Maiden. Great album, melodic and catchy while still having fast metal instrument parts.

Way more piano and jazz influence than I expected. Really enjoyed it, Jack White is a talented musician.

So the jamming piano is big fun and I understand he was influential. But honestly most of his singing was impossible to understand.

Not bad, but definitely not my favorite work of Missy's. What makes Missy Eliott special is that her best music is pretty unique and catchy, it doesn't sound like it follows the normal R&B formula. This however sounds pretty generic compared to her later work and leans heavily on featured artists.

Pretty fun high energy early punk. Standout songs: Get Over You Here Comes the Summer Jimmy Jimmy (She's a) Runaround

Really beautiful guitar work throughout this album. Some of it gets a little too kind of out there for me where it starts to sound more experimental than musical, like Mind Gardens. That said the range on this album is impressive, to have a psychedelic experimental style of song like Mind Gardens on the same album as the country style Time Between makes for an interesting listen. The Doors are kind of hit or miss for me. I love a few songs on this album, Light My Fire is fantastic. However outside of those few bangers it just doesn't do it for me.

So I've never been big on hair metal, but this is good hair metal. And yes, it's full of bangers. Plus half a star for Bon Jovi seeming like pretty good dude, which seems rare in the world of classic rock stars. 3.5 stars

Easy listening rock. The hits are the hits for a reason, and the non-hits don't really stand up in comparison.

It's fine. Couple hits, couple misses. Certain artists like Coldplay that get exceedingly popular also seem to get exceedingly hated on (Nickelback, Taylor Swift, etc.). I personally think this hate is almost always over the top. Save your hate for true trash like Kid Rock. I definitely didn't hate this, but it also didn't really do anything for me. Just very average.

Loved this. So high energy and catchy. Feels like a great representation of the 00's fast paced alt/indie rock genre. stand out songs: - I bet you look good on the dancefloor - Dancing Shoes - When the Sun Goes Down - A Certain Romance

This album starts off so strong. Even if the lyrics are kind of dumb sometimes the music is undeniably fantastic. Flea is incredible here. It's catchy, and different and so interesting to listen to. Really enjoy this album, and yes nostalgia may be a bit of a factor in how much I enjoy it.

I was a little surprised this album was on this list, but I do think Kasey Musgraves is an important artist so I get it. Country is a male dominated genre full of absolutely garbage music (I say this as a country fan, I just think 95% of it now is terrible because it's bro-pop-country trash). So Kasey Musgraves is a breath of fresh air in the genre. This album makes you feel nostalgic for summers gone by. I also think the songwriting is better than most will give it credit for.

Pretty enjoyable overall. Favorite was Child in Time and Flight of the Rat. You don't see long form rock jam songs very often anymore.

Weird album for me... Loved a couple songs like If it Takes All Night and Prairie Rose. But most of them just felt overdone, but not in the fun way like Queen. Not sure how to feel about it.

I enjoyed this more than I expected to, so props to Madonna for surprising me.
