Exile On Main Street
The Rolling StonesYou can’t go wrong with The Rolling Stones but there are much better albums out there from them.

A true classic
One of the great voices in music
Not only is there not a bad song on this entire album but most are absolute 80’s classics.
Definitely some great tracks here but some song were just too noisy for me.
A solid album chocked full of moody 80’s gothic anthems
I think Kate Bush is trying to out weird Bjork. Very bizarre style. I know she can sing but not on this album. She sounds like she took singing lessons from Yoko Ono. There is not a single song on this album I would willingly listen to again.
Dylan is one of the great song writers for sure. His vocals, much like Neil Young, can take some getting used to like an acquired taste. Solid album.

First time hearing her music. This album is a solid sound of folk mixed with a little 70’s funk. A good listen.
Kind of sounds like John Mellencamp With a country twang.
Very eclectic sound morphing from an almost soft jazz sound into new age and atmospheric mood. Loved every bit of it.
Can’t believe I missed this band. Their semi punk, garage sound is reminiscent of early Clash, The The and The Call. Really great stuff with a huge catalog of albums and singles. Again, I don’t know how I missed this band.
Not my jam.
You gotta love the Mama’s and the Papa’s. One of the best vocal groups of their time.
It is fun to listen to this early album and hear how their unique sound was being developed.
Love the Black Keys. Destined to be one of the great sounds of this century.
One of the most underrated musicians of our time. His songwriting is superior and no one plays the slide guitar like George.
Great vocals. Decent album. It all just seems to start sounding the same.
If I want to hear someone yell obscenities at me I’ll go hang out at the local Jr high school.
Some 80’s gems in this one to be sure.
Great album with songs I hadn’t heard before. Very different sound from what you generally associate with The Beach Boys.
Good stuff.
Great album with some of the classics of the 70’s but full of hidden treasures as well.
Has some good soul groove sounds but couldn’t get into some the more ballad type songs.
No bad. But not great either.
Not bad but not great either.
One of the best albums out there.
He’s a legend but not my style.
Iconic album from an iconic band.
Great stuff. Happy to see they have an extensive catalogue.
Nice Latin sound. Wish I understood what they were singing.
Great stuff. I really liked the addition of the piano in a few of the songs.
Never been a big Rush fan but this album does have some gems.
A surprising fun listen.
Interesting sound. Not a bad album. Not sure they were really as influential or cutting edge as their bio wants us to believe but not bad stuff.
This album felt like the band was just going through the motions. Every song is slow, boring and uneventful.
Petty is always solid
The sounds of my youth. Great album.
The last song is an epic classic but the rest didn’t do anything for me.
There is much better stuff from the WHO.
Some great classics in there.
Some absolute gems in this album mixed in with some noisy filler.
Good stuff
Some of it was okay but most of the songs on this album are slow, boring and don’t seem to go anywhere.
Solid album but just can’t love Radiohead overall.
It wouldn’t have been the 70’s without Parliament. Absolute best funk you can find.
Seems a bit unamerican but injustice cant get into Bruce Springsteen for some reason.
Album as a whole is okay but lacks the energy associated with Black Sabbath and especially that of Ozzy himself.
Good ambiance/background music while you’re working.
Not what I expected from Zappa. Much more instrumental.
For theatrical metal it doesn’t get much better than this.
Good stuff. There is a hint of Nirvana and maybe Stone Temple Pilots in their sound but they have created their own sound.
Kids shown monotone and boring to be honest. I really wanted to like this one but just couldn’t get into it.
Soundgarden was instrumental in introducing a new “modern metal” sound that broke away from the traditional heavy metal of the late 80’s and early 90’s. This album represents that new metal sound perfectly.
This was an absolutely bizarre combination of hip hop and electronic. It was the audio version of a circus side show. I did not expect to like this but I found it oddly entertaining.
Not for me.
Not my jam.
Definitely some gems in this one.
This album has a sweetness to it that is irresistible.
Some absolutely iconic gems in there among a lot of very mediocre songs. A greatest hits album would be a better option, if the Eagles have enough good stuff to fill a greatest hits album.
Solid work
Madness always hits right.
Classic rock goodness
Not bad if you’re into sultry latin music. It all started sounding the same.
Definitely some good stuff in this album but overall a bit weak.
Solid
Bob is pretty alright.
A nearly perfect album.
Would have been better if every song wasn’t reminiscent of the ending track to a Monty Python movie, meandering with no end in sight.
Solid 90’s Brit-pop sound
A younger Ray before he developed that deep gravelly voice in his later years. Still good stuff.
Good stuff. Maybe a little rougher or raw than Young’s solo stuff but still very good.
Classic goodness
Good classic stuff
Fantastic funk! Doesn’t get any better.
Interesting concept but not really my jam
