My Generation
The Who“It’s Not True” and “I Can’t Explain” were two that stood out. Thought that the mixing of the album was great and had a good grit to er.

Vocals are sub par. Not a fan of the grunge nature of the first couple songs. First three songs I would give a 2/5 at best. One positive thing that does stand out tho is the progression of the instruments and songs. I feel like it’s got a good mix but the screaming vocals just drown out the song where maybe a different singer could be beneficial. Androgynomoys was the song that I saved which I liked
Good instrumentals and very creative but just not my taste. I thought that it would be great for a Disney soundtrack
Thought that it was a great mix of experimental jazz and mixes of rock and pop. Lots of creativity throughout the album and was engaging with its upbeat songs. Standout for me was Take Me Out which I recognized from somewhere but can’t put my finger on where it’s from
Umm….. Garbage, unlistenable, disengaging. These words describe what this album is. Talking about holding doo doo in hand, a song that’s just auditable porn, and beats that just sound like a tin man busker on the streets of Galway. This was by far the worst shit I’ve listened to up to date. Hard pass.
Definitely one of the best that I’ve heard out of the past week. Lots of it isn’t my taste but you can’t go wrong with the Hallelujah cover. I think that this would be most suited for people of a young teenage age going through there first break up.
Overall, great piece of work with tons of lyrical meaning and Dylan-Esque to it. I thought that So Long, Marianne was the song that stood out the most. A guy and his guitar, ya can’t go wrong.
Really enjoyed listening to this one. It’s got some great study jams and thought that the riffs were all pretty much engaging. Would listen to again
Thought that the instrumental was top notch and did a good job and keeping the sound they were trying to get across consistent throughout the album. Production was different, although I thought that it fit their sound nicely. Move Me on Down the Line and La Grange stood out
Thought that it was a good listen. Hear a mix of Dylan and Tom Petty in his vocal, and also heard lots of Beatles references within the songs like “Birthday” and “Carry that Weight” which was pretty cool. Each track felt unique and different from what came before.
Whole lotta screamo that I can’t be loving
Probably not a re-listen. Album had its moments with a few good samples from the Beatles and such, but was not my jam.
Really enjoyed listening to this one. Whole album was short in the number of songs but each song was unique and had great instrumental. Loved the harmonies too. Highest rating I’ve given up to date.
Par album with some great tunes. Never really listened to too much Sabbath but I feel like this album gives you the best taste of what their sound is. Paranoid was my top hit for this one.
First time that I’ve give the Arctic Monkeys a full album listen from start to finish! Thought that it was well produced with some great songs. Tunes that I stood out were Fake Tales Of San Francisco and Riot.
Great representations of The Beach Boys creativity with pop music and extremely good melodies. Help me Rhonda was one that stood out
Thought that each song had its own creativity behind it and that the songwriting and lyrical content was on par with the feeling that they were trying to get across. The drive of the upbeat drums along with the guitar tones and vocals was excellent. I would say they stand out amongst themselves in the rock genre and reminds me of those youthful days. Many of the songs have an emotional impact along its them as well which ties into those days when I was a kid.
Definitely top notch album here. Besides from hits like “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Wake me Up When September Ends”, songs such as “Give Me Novacaine” really make this album great.
Good album with some decent tunes but didn’t think anything really stood out.
Different kind of punk rock that started out strong with “Bad Habit” as the third track that was an instant playlist ad. Recognized “Self-Esteem” which was a unique tune as well. The songwriting, creativity of the guitar licks, and upbeat drum tempos made this album stand out with some average uniqueness.
Outstanding album. First time I’ve listened to Amy Winehouse fully and am quite impressed. Solid 4
Solid album with a good mix of tunes. Jealous Again, Hard to Handle, and She Talks To Angels were favs.
“It’s Not True” and “I Can’t Explain” were two that stood out. Thought that the mixing of the album was great and had a good grit to er.
One of the closest things I’ve heard compared to Paul McCartney. Songs “L.A.” and “Junk Bond Trader stood out.
Ahhhhh bore and a snore
The calm before the storm, where Dylan is on the brink of going electric. This last breath of folk is solidified in time as one of his best with classics such as “Tamborine Man”, and “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue”. Have and will be listening again.
Superb album with a fantastic mix of instruments and vocals. You cant go wrong with “The Weight” and “We can Talk”.
It was an alright album. Never can top Oasis….
Whole lotta hogwalash
