1001 Albums Summary

Dec 26, 2025, not my first time with this album, but the first time I have listened with intent. Behind Blue Eyes & Won't Get Fooled Again stole the show for me. I personally wouldn't reach for this album- but I respect it. 3.1/5

Ir was alright. Not particularly my jam. I found myself skipping Charlie Freak. Best song was the opener. Would not add to my personal collection 2/5

I love this album. It brings me back to when I would hang out at the local record shop and thrive in the sounds of psych. Highly rated but not in my current personal taste. I have this record in my collection.

The opening track was a little bit too much for me. The rest of the album was a great listen. I would add to my collection but I could also see it being slightly forgettable.

This was such a surprising listen. As with a few of these albums, I went in completely completely blind and was immediately drawn in and connected to the music. Its layered, soulful, alternative. I cant believe that I have never heard this before. Must add to my collection

This took me back... my dad's favorite song was Come on Eileen growing up. Very nostalgic. As far as the full album....The second half was much better than the first.

THE WAY I GASPED. I have been in love with this album since day 1. This is my kind of music

This was a challenge to get through only because there was a lack of variation through the whole album. This felt like a weird mix of NIN, Massive attack and Pearl jam but not as satisfying
