Solid 7/10 some big hitter and some heartfelt American Rock

Perfect simple thrashy melodic songs I love her drumming oatterns

Really not my cup of tea, only made it through 3 tracks

Bonafide classic...was in every bedroom as a teenager loved it

Absolute classic my favourite Radiohead album so many great songs

Great shoegazing early 90s vibe still sounds pretty cool, very enjoyable

Far rockier than I remember really enjoyed it, Black Hole song is a great tune can't believe it's 32 years old

Beautiful songs by a true songbird, loved it as I don't tend to listen to JM albums as such more songs within playlists etc.

More promotion of guns violence and mysogyny the final straw was "9 months later, I wish I hadn't banged, got me reaching in my wardrobe for a coat hanger" tongue in cheek maybe but not really funny of any time period not for me although there are some genuinely cool flows and beats 8 can't get past the subject matter

Nostalgia overload used to listen this on the way to college, some fillers on there but a thoroughly solid debut album

Atmospheric and moody not someone I have a lot of prior knowledge of so was intrigued to give it a spin, enjoyed it. A proper musos album I reckon

Went into this only knowing one track was pleasantly surprised there are some good songs on here brilliantly performed

Not my fave fan 4 album, but it's importance cannot be underplayed a youthful energetic movement that changed music forever

Funky soulful album, enjoyed it as a soundtrack to the train journey home

It's got a bit of everything sometimes sounds like the album has skipped tracks but sounds like it would have been an incredibly fun record to make.

Loved this especially as I'd recently watched the man on the run documentary where they talked about recording in Maccas kitchen on the farm with birdsong in the background etc.

Experimental, artistic and real musicianship I haven't listened any Brian Eno but found it really interesting

Really enjoyed this I've never heard of the band there was a 60s sensibility to it so looked up the release date (1980)

Well I hate to be critical but it's a long way from their best songwriting. The song about 'the landing' nearly tipped me over the edge!

It was more melodic in places than I initially thought it would be and I understand the importance of the band and their influence but it did nothing for me

Was not what I was expecting from the album cover but actually quite enjoyed it. There were some really interesting beats and melodies with a black power theme
