Popular Reviews

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan

I didn't know a single one of these tracks, but they all felt like timeless poetry. Truely one of the greats.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye

There's a time and a place for this album. It was not the bus to work.

Dookie by Green Day
Apr 25 2026

Not a lot of dynamic variation. Couple of good songs stood out but not a big fan overall.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Apr 26 2026

Great album. Weirdly the only one I knew (Sympathy for the Devil) was probably my least favourite. Really enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzle.

Apr 27 2026

Wasn't familiar with Hole. Great lyrics, fantastic guy wrenching vocals and some interesting tunes. Not really my style particularly, but enjoyed regardless.

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Apr 28 2026

Disjointed and awkward. Feels like I wondered into a jam session attended entirely be people who were insanely high and thought that they had just played the best sound ever made, then instantly forgot what it was and spent the next five minutes trying to find it again. Awful.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
May 01 2026

Quite enjoyable, fairly easy listening. Not particularly memorable though. Wouldn't change the station, but wouldn't buy a ticket

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
May 02 2026

Not my usual genre at all, but I surprisingly enjoyed my time listening to this one. Very rhythmic and flowy.

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
May 03 2026

Not a genre I even knew existed, yet several of the tracks were hauntingly familiar. Very good, but felt more like background music or maybe a soundtrack than something I want to listen to actively.

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
May 04 2026

I didn't know a single one of these tracks, but they all felt like timeless poetry. Truely one of the greats.

1984 by Van Halen
May 05 2026

Fabulously energetic and just all around fun album, that despite having some insanely complex musical arrangements, somehow feels super approachable.

OK Computer by Radiohead
May 09 2026

Stunning flow, provocative lyrics, intricate instrumentals. Absolutely one of the greats.

Graceland by Paul Simon
May 10 2026

Good, nice energy and interesting themes - but felt somewhat twee and samey after a while.

En-Tact by The Shamen
May 11 2026

Dreadful. If this was hold music, I'd hang up.

Van Halen by Van Halen
May 12 2026

It's like if Red Bull was an album. It straight up creates energy!

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
May 13 2026

Great relaxing album. Apparently I prefer Simon and Garfunkel quite alot against Paul Simon's solo efforts.

Real Life by Magazine
May 14 2026

If I could score the music 4 and the vocals 0 I would.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
May 15 2026

Fantastic album. Only knew the singles, now I'm looking for the vinyl!

Black Monk Time by The Monks
May 17 2026

Weirdly abrupt transitions between stanzas. Nice to hear an organ though!

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
May 18 2026

There's a time and a place for this album. It was not the bus to work.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
May 19 2026

I've never really found the genre to be captivating, but this was a nice easy listening experience.

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
May 20 2026

Very much enjoyed. Not what I expected having only heard their bigger hit singles. Reminded me a bit of Living Colour which was neat.

Risque by CHIC
May 21 2026

Funky AF. Made my 20km cycle to work feel like one big dance party.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
May 27 2026

All sounded like one very long monotonous track, with the occasional record scratch.

Jun 07 2026

Outstanding. The complex and engaging instrumental arrangements paired with thoughtful and playful lyrics and Queen's iconic vocal harmonies make for one of the all-time greatest albums ever made.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jun 09 2026

Great album. Much more melodic than anticipated, and while Ozzy's voice is often grating to me it didn't bother me here.

Murmur by R.E.M.

1977 by Ash
Jun 18 2026

Felt like I should like I like it, as it was similar in style to Jimmy Eat World which is one of my favourites. But I just couldn't really get into it.

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Jun 19 2026

I enjoy Neil Young's style, and while I wasn't familiar with this album, it felt like talking with an old friend.
