Def some standard 60's pop, but they've got the stones' edge even if behind bubblegum pop. A just fine start to a great career - even if they just wanted to be the beatles soo bad.
Good, but kinda some filler. A lot of it sounds the same and its really long. BUT the length paired with the sound makes it kinda a vibe. middle of the road for me
While I can appreciate sick riffage of most any kind, and I found this easier to listen to than I expected, this stuff just isn't for me yet. Too aggressive, and sounds like a guy with gauges and Osiris shoes outside a 711 smells.

Very bladerunner. Also very same-y. Lots of the songs had the same beat, key, and chord progression. I really like the quality of this synth stuff tho, its mysterious and exciting. Just too much on the album - literally is a song called "Random" that feels like when I would mess around in a logic session late at night.
This album wasnt bad. It is really cool and feels like a world within itself. Even if every song sounds like a ringtone, Bjork is a fantastic artist and vocalist. Did I enjoy it? Not really, but it is objectively a good album. Still, I must rate it low just based on my own enjoyment.

The Zep just doesn't connect with me, which is weird cause I love some facemelting rock. Idk, I just can't shake the song stealing stuff, and maybe it's just SO rock that it's somehow too vanilla? Crazy to say but thats how I feel at least for now. Can't deny it's a great album though.

Haunting album. I think I just sorta always assumed this was overhyped but I honestly can't say that anymore. This is just good. Straight up. All the tracks feel the same in a good way.

I know Bruce's discog pretty well, and this one def feels like a culmination of the street kid age. Everything comes together in a more accurate mature way, there's genuine moments of grandeur on this thing. There's also funky, bluesy riffs and rock that are just at the heart of 70's popular rock music. Does what it's supposed to and more. Clarence might be the true star of this album though.
Totally hits the heights of swagger and macho and the depths of yearning in one album. Best of theirs imo
