The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan

Very bladerunner. Also very same-y. Lots of the songs had the same beat, key, and chord progression. I really like the quality of this synth stuff tho, its mysterious and exciting. Just too much on the album - literally is a song called "Random" that feels like when I would mess around in a logic session late at night.

In Utero by Nirvana
May 20 2026

Pretty noisy and not as poppy as Nevermind, but still fantastic and gritty

Fragile by Yes
May 22 2026

Maybe a little too crazy for me - really cool stuff but just not enough to catch on for the ear for me

21 by Adele
May 26 2026
New Boots And Panties by Ian Dury
May 28 2026

Good, but just kinda gross... and most Bri'ish sounding guy ever.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
May 29 2026

She is so sad - Stand Out Tracks: Shadowboxer, Criminal, The First Taste, Carrion

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jun 02 2026

I hate RHCP, not sure why. They just dont sound good or interesting to me.

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jun 03 2026

Dont really get the hype - just kinda normal for this era. But not bad or anything

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Jun 04 2026

Just kinda nothing special, almost sounds like Daft Punk but really just feels like a dollar store in the early 2000's.

Metal Box by Public Image Ltd.
Jun 05 2026

Obv experimental, but kinda unlistenable. Not quite well constructed enough to apologize for its roughness

2112 by Rush
Jun 09 2026
Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Jun 10 2026

Really like this guy's voice, not sure how I hadn't heard of him. Going to be listening more. Operatic and theatre like. My songs in class were always described as operatic. This guy also sounds a lot like Thom Yorke

The Rolling Stones by The Rolling Stones
Jun 11 2026

Def some standard 60's pop, but they've got the stones' edge even if behind bubblegum pop. A just fine start to a great career - even if they just wanted to be the beatles soo bad.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jun 18 2026

Good, but kinda some filler. A lot of it sounds the same and its really long. BUT the length paired with the sound makes it kinda a vibe. middle of the road for me

All Hope Is Gone by Slipknot
Jun 19 2026

While I can appreciate sick riffage of most any kind, and I found this easier to listen to than I expected, this stuff just isn't for me yet. Too aggressive, and sounds like a guy with gauges and Osiris shoes outside a 711 smells.

Jun 22 2026

Pretty fun - kinda like bikini kill, lots of talk of milk. Kinda same-y though

Moon Safari by Air
Jun 23 2026

Kinda sounds like bad TV show music. Remember is a cool track tho

Logical Progression by LTJ Bukem
Jun 24 2026

Sacred text of Jungle and electronica - snowboarding to this would be peak

One World by John Martyn
Jun 25 2026

Not quite like Solid Air which is very important to me - still cool but lacks the soul of what I know as John Martyn

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Jun 30 2026

Starts off so hot but REALLY drops off, and I actually like Steely Dan

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Jul 01 2026

A lot of comments talk about this sounding like the Flaming Lips which made me really dislike this album. Started cool but what I don't like about FL I dont like about this.

Stephen Stills by Stephen Stills
Jul 02 2026

Pretty great, wasnt expecting such a vibrant and fun album honestly

Fly Or Die by N.E.R.D
Jul 03 2026

Sounds like every song is in Despicable Me

Disintegration by The Cure
Jul 06 2026

Really wanted this to blow me away but was kinda wishy washy. Mid

Odelay by Beck
Jul 07 2026

I had heard this one before, but it kicked it up with the rock for me this time. Raw and gritty in a way I can love a little more than before

Faith by George Michael
Jul 08 2026

Listened over two sittings, and actually really dug it more the second half. These songs are just *so* on the nose and trying to be *so* virtuous but also...sexy for some reason? idk, weird but fun

Abbey Road by Beatles
Jul 09 2026

I think this listen really showed me that while not as dramatic as the white album, this is the BEST Beatles album. Simple as

Future Days by Can
Jul 10 2026

Really love moonshake obv, and this is one of those bands I "know" is cool (LCD Soundsystem) but this work needs just one more tight track to bring it together for me. Still epic though

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 13 2026

What can you say? May be greatest of all time

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Jul 14 2026

Pretty solid, great hits, second half drags a little - on the higher side of 3 but lower side of 4

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Jul 15 2026
The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Jul 16 2026

Very bladerunner. Also very same-y. Lots of the songs had the same beat, key, and chord progression. I really like the quality of this synth stuff tho, its mysterious and exciting. Just too much on the album - literally is a song called "Random" that feels like when I would mess around in a logic session late at night.

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces
Jul 22 2026

V British, but in a kind of good way. Some cool tracks on here for sure. Need to learn more about who they are, I know they're really important to British music but why? Also the little story book stuff is funny and weird

Jul 30 2026

Super fun. Great beats, and wild rock song in there? Just a little too long but the skits were funny. Did Biggie rip my guy Ice T off? idk

The Doors by The Doors
Jul 31 2026

Mmm, a different flavor of 70s, like some haunted roadhouse by the side of a dusty ill-lit highway.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Aug 07 2026

Mystical Artist fr, though some of this felt kinda filler. Still killer tho
