I get why my dad loves Springsteen. If I were in my teens listening to this I'd be like wow, this really gets my teenage urge to get out of this place. Says "little girl" just a few too many times

I like this so much more than Aja. Aja is like a 3.5 and this is a 4.5

Look, it's a vibe. Maybe everyone else has a different rating scale than I do but I fuck heavy with a vibe album. Someone else mentioned Air, I'd toss Panda Bear in as well. Something I can put on, lay back, and enjoy in a hammock

Have never heard this band before, but will check out their other stuff. Generally enjoy the southwestern vibes and bits of mariachi in there. Unexpectedly good

I have no idea if this was musically a huge deal when it came out or I'm lacking in musical knowledge to appreciate this, but ultimately to me it ends up feeling generic. Not something I would ever go out of my way to listen to and, for having come out more recently than some of these other albums, still manages to sound more dated.

Well... It's got all the hallmarks of something I'd really love, folk songs, guitar, etc, but something about it just isn't clicking, which is disappointing. I like it. I don't love it. But I really like it.
