Is This It
The StrokesLove it! Classic with many hits, including the title track, "last nite", "selfless". Love the slightly distorted voice

Not too bad, but also nothing too outstanding.
Nice 90s grunge-y vibe! Will need to listen a bit more!
Pre-90s Bjoerk. Not too bad, probably better after a few listens.
Never really listened to a full Pixies album before. Some classics "Gouge Away" and "Here comes my man". Overall enjoyed, but probably takes a few more repeat cycles to fully click.
First Beatles album, I listened to back to back. I enjoyed "Drive my car", "Girl" and "I'm looking through you". Overall better than anticipated.
Never really listened to a full Pixies album before. Some classics "Gouge Away" and "Here comes my man". Overall enjoyed, but probably takes a few more repeat cycles to fully click.
Lots of classics, "so fresh so clean", "gasoline dreams", "ms jackson". Nice to listen to the full album, will definitely keep this one in the rotation.
Very groovy. Nice pick, that I would have not listened to other wise.
Very chill and relaxed
Not my cup of tea. Too much hippy.
Probably revolutionary back then, but too much old school for me.
Never listened to much Blur beyond Song 2. Not super overwhelmed with this album, but you can hear a lot of influences on other brit rock bands. Needs more listens.
Not my cup of tea, even though it's very good from a technical point of view.
Quite bland. Nothing that really stood out to me.
Banger. Tiny Dancer and Indian Sunset are awesome! Really nice album.
Pre-90s Bjoerk. Not too bad, probably better after a few listens.
Like it. No stand out songs, but overall good-mood music. Probably liked Sunday Shining best.
Nice classic, lots of good hits and drug references
Nice late 80s album! Love "The One I Love" and "The End of The World".
A bit too much hippie for me, but not bad music per se.
I like Elliot Smith and that's a nice album. Not too many stand out songs, and probably not my favorite album of his, but still very nice
A bit too pompous and not many standout songs.
Nice one! Never listened to a full album by the Boss
Little bit too much country for me, but a few nice songs.
Has quite a bit of Joy Division, but not my favorite Sonic Youth record.
Mostly elevator music...
Liked it, but maybe needs another 2-3 listens. Subculture and This Time of Night were best.
Didn't like the Jazz part as much, but the reggae influence was interesting
Not my favorite kind of music, but appreciate some Sinatra!
A bit too bland for me!
A very wild mix of music, from old school rap, to jazz, to pop stuff. Some nice tunes, in particular "The Whole Point of No Return".
Nice to listen to the full album. "She's always a woman to me" very classic!
Not too bad, but also nothing too outstanding.
Classic punk rock with three chords. "Now I want to sniff some glue" and "blitzkrieg bob" will never get old.
Not my favorite Bowie album, but crazy to imagine that this was released just before his death..
Nice one! Very much like "Strange Ones" and "Mansize Rooster". Will have to listen to this more, but seems very influential on the entire 90s brit rock scene.
Pretty bland and not my favorite Beck album.
Good music, but not my specific cup of tea!
Too much Jazz. But still good on a music level.
Despite this being a country album, quite enjoyed some of the songs, especially the last song, Jackson.
Love Tom Waits, didn't know this album before. Not my favorite Album of his, still good.
Nice one! Was not aware of the band behind the classic Tony Hawk soundtrack song. Overall reminds me a bit of Dead Kennedys
Nice! Quite groovy and rocky.
Another Elton John album. Enjoyed "I've seen that movie too" and "Candle in the wind", but overall not as good as the previous one.
First Santana record I listened too. Knew "Black Magic Women" and "Oye Como Va". "Samba Pa Ti" has a killer guitar sound and feel but beyond this this album did not move me too much.
Enjoyed this, especially "Sisters of the moon" and "beautiful child". Not as many hits as Rumours though
Lot's of big hits on this one. Will need to listen deeper. "Sexy Boy" and "All I need" are staples of the 90s.
Too much Jazz
"If you see her say hello" has been a long time favorite. Overall nice album.
Nice album. Not too much standout songs, but good study music.
Nice 90s grunge-y vibe! Will need to listen a bit more!
Very wild, and seemed a little unfocused. But enjoyed some of the Gilmour-like guitar on the opening track.
Absolute classic and 5 star album. Bombtrack, Killing in the name of, Bullet in the head, know your enemy, wake up, freedom, take the power back. One hit after another.
Nothing to stand out here, but enjoyed the album. Probably needs another few spins.
Liked this quite a bit! Very aggressive, old school UK rap. "I Luv U" was great. Will put this into the rotation.
Not my most favorite. A bit too much hippy.
Love it! Classic with many hits, including the title track, "last nite", "selfless". Love the slightly distorted voice
Very dark and melodramatic. Liked the opening track, "Siamese Twins".
Very classic hip hop album. Juicy is a big hit ("it was all a dream"). Strong title track.
Another classic hip hop album. Ice cube, Dr. Dre, Easy-E, Mc Ren. Only knew the title track and "Fuck Tha Police", but also other good tracks including "Express Yourself".
Alright, but nothing too standout. Favorite is probably "I know I'm losing you"
Nice 90s grunge/anxiety. Die in the summer time, was probably my favorite. Need to listen to more of MSP!
Love Nick Cave. "Into my arms" and "Are you the one that I've been waiting for" are classics.
Nice, but not my type of music
Not my favorite Cardigans album, but still a few nice songs on it, including classic Lovefool.
Not bad overall, just not my taste preference. After Hours is probably the favorite on this one.
Great album. Love "I wanna be your dog".
Obviously "One" is a good song, but I just don't like U2.
MMh not bad, but nothing that really stuck with me.
Classic Boston album. Probably enjoyed most "Hospital" and "Dance with me"
Quite nice, atmospheric music.
Classic 70s concept album! Love it!
"Despair" is very dark. Apart from this. not too much standout.
Realizing that Jan Delay covered the beat from "Till Death Do us Part". Apart from this a bit too poppy for me, but not a bad record per se.
Nothing too standout for me, but I enjoyed the title track "Bad Company"!
"The Kindness of Strangers" and "Where the Wild Roses Grow" are favorite. Another nice album by Nick Cave.
Nice album! Starman is a classic and a favorite of mine, but also very nice opener and many other good songs.
Very surprising and great album. Loved "Crucify", "Winter".
Nothing too standout.
Not my favorite Bowie album, with much less standout songs than previous one (Ziggy Stardust)
Lots of great hits, including the title song, "The Boxer", "Cecilia". Love it.
Very weird, eclectic mix. Liked Longue Route, but not that much beyond it.
Not my cup of tea, really.
Nice singer songwriter stuff. Enjoyed "Todo Los dolores", "Will is my friend",
Objectively good music, but not my cup of tea. "Blame it on the sun" was probably my favorite.
Nice, but not too many songs stood really out. Liked "Peace Like a River"
A bit too artsy for me
Groovy! Not their biggest hits on this, still very enjoyable
Not my cup of tea, and a bit all over the place.
A bit too much hippy/indie for me, but not bad. Liked to opener and "We rule the school"
Interesting, old school rap. Very political. Beats are a bit too outdated for me, but I can see this being quite fresh in the early 90s
Always tough starting with a live album, but liked this one. "I want you to want me" and "Surrender" are probably the two biggest hits on this one!
Too much Jazz
Nice one, with a few classics! Factory Girl is a new discovery.
Weird eclectic mix. A bit too much background / OST for me.
Not bad, but nothing that particularly stuck with me
Angry, early 90s music. Will have to listen to this more. Liked the opener, but then it faded out a bit.
Nice classic rock! Layla is killer song!
"Music is love" was nice. But nothing too standout on a first listen.
Love it! Besides the hits, Rollin & Scratchin was nice
A bit sappy, but will give it another listen
Not bad, but a bit too much hippy for me.
Not bad, but also not mindblowing. Liked Freedom Rider.
Old school hip hop. Probably quite fresh in 1990, and some cool tracks, but not my favorite rap era.
A bit too sappy for me! But some nice 80s tunes
Too much hippy for me!
Not fully up my alley, but objectively not bad
Nice Flaming Lips album. Definitely need to give this one more listens.
Not too much my cup of tea. Reminds me quite a bit of Depeche Mode, late 80s synth stuff.
Nothing too memorable, nothing too bad/good.
Liked quite a bit, even though mostly instrumental! Classic bell tune
Not bad, a few classics (go West), but nothing that blew my mind, despite being very British
Not my cup of tea. A bit too much post punk
Nice one with lots of classics. Surprisingly short songs, except for the End!
Nice live album. Will give this a few more listens. "Baby I love your way" as the biggest hit.
Despite being a big pink floyd fan, their early stuff is just too esoteric for me. Hurts to give Pink Floyd three stars
Classic. Many good songs on it! Baby I'm Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, Communication Breakdown. Heavy!
Nothing that blew me out of the water, but not bad either!
The album that started an entire genre. First listen, and actually quite liked it. Countess Bathory was great.
Nice, old school rock. Will listen one more time at least!
Nothing too outstanding!
Nothing too noteworthy for me.
Quite funky, upbeat jazz.
Rock and roll classic!
Not bad, but a bit too hippie
Apache is a cool track, but besides this not my favorite kind. More like OST music.
IGY is great! Very smooth album!
Not my favorite Dylan album, but I love "Stuck inside of Mobile" and "Just like a woman"
Nothing too standout for me. A bit too indie, but I can see why people like it.
Liked this much more than anticipated. Somehow, I never listened to any ZZ Top before. But they had some nice and groovy songs like "sharp dressed man" or "legs"
90s hip hop has not aged well. While I understand that it was probably influential and novel when it came out, on today's standard is (musically, not lyrically) less relevant
Sounds about three decades too late. Good mix of 70s and 90s punk In 2009. Lost and Found, Know your product as strong openers
As much as I love Metallica (and this was one of my first Metallica albums I listened to from start to finish), S&M is just overloaded. A lot of the orchestra stuff does not fit, especially in the faster songs. Obviously, some of the ballads (Nothing Else Matters, One, ..) the orchestra is brilliant, but on a whole it's often more a distraction than an addition.
Quite nice folk/country mix. Enjoyed "Because of you"
Quite nice synth driven pop. Will have to give it a few more listens!
First time actually listening through the Slim Shady LP and paying attention to the lyrics. Good album, and clearly set the foundation for Marshall Matters LP.
Pretty wild mix. Need to give it a few more listens, but pretty funky all over. Paper plans as big hit, probably because it's most approachable.
Too much country/pop. Not my favorite cup of tea, but some few catchy songs
A bit too old school / country for me. I liked "In the Pines" though because of the Nirvana relevance
Nice one! Lots of quality songs; not the massive hits as other albums, but very solid overall!
The album that started heavy metal. Love the rain on the opening track, followed by the haunting riffs.
Haven't had listened to Kanye's first album yet. All Falls Down and Jesus Walks as highlights. Will definitely give it another listen.
Nice songs on it, love the rendition of "In the Ghetto", but overall a bit too old school for me
Very nice! Haven't listened to this album yet, but quite a big fan. Definitely can tell that Bon Iver has been influenced by this.
Objectively not bad, but not my preference in music.
Really not my cup of tea. Lots of noise, and not the good kind. (Despite usually liking most Nick Cave stuff)
Very classic album. Lilac Wine, Hallelujah, and many other great songs.
I personally prefer the vibe of the earlier albums, but this is still quite good. Enjoyed "Tomorrow's Dream", "Supernaut".
Nothing to standout for me. "Only A Hobo" was my favorite on a first listen.
Not so much cup of tea. A bit too much avantgarde.
Not really my jam. Too old school 50/60s stuff.
Many many hits on this one. Spoonman, Fell on Black Days (favorite), Black Hole Sun. Great grunge milestone.
Objectively not bad, but does not move me emotionally much. Quite relaxing and smooth.
Anyway, here's Wonderwall. Joking aside, there are so many hits on this album. Don't look back in anger, hello, morning glory, champagne supernova! Very strong album and great encapsulation of the brit pop era
Not very accessible. Would probably benefit from a few more repeats. Not my favorite Dinosaur Jr (on a first listen)
Too hippy
Unfortunately could not listen to the full album, but I enjoyed "Our House"
Pretty easy going 70s rock with some funky grooves. Will listen again.
Love it! Roots bloody roots! Not my favorite Sepultura album (chaos ad), but still very good with cool tribal influence
didn't fully click with me!
A bit too cheesy 70s rock for me, but pretty decent (or average) rock n roll album
Classics \"America\" and \"Mrs. Robinson\". Hallmark of the hippy era.
Just because of Tuesday’s Gone and Free Bird this is a strong album. Buy also enjoyed Simple Man. Strong, but 1-2 fillers as well.
Very nice and dark. Paper bag and Deer Stop as two favorites. Will put this into the rotation!
Two weeks as a standout hit, but not bad all around! Also enjoyed About Face. Could use a bit more variety though.
Nice Album with American Girl as obvious classic.
Not my favorite, too much country.
First Beatles album, I listened to back to back. I enjoyed "Drive my car", "Girl" and "I'm looking through you". Overall better than anticipated.
Great album with lots of bangers on it. Front to back very cohesive record!
Objectively not too bad, but I just can't get over Bono. Probably "In a little while" my surprise song from this album
Usually like Tom Waits, but somehow couldn't get too much out of this one. Too avantgarde
Nice country songs. "Georgia on my mind", "Moonlight in vermont", "blue skies". Liked it.
Like it! Quite folky. "Meadowlarks" was one of my favs
Enjoyed hot burrito #1 (Bb minor)
Disarm is the song that made me discover Smashing Pumpkins. Love the fuzzy guitars
No my favorite type of music. But objectively not bad!
Fantastic rap album. Slightly prefer good kid mad city, but still a great album, with many good songs (Alright, Momma, How Much A Dollar Cost)
Liked "one of us", apart from that, not much for me.
Classic, late 1990s Brit Pop. Will have to give it a deeper listend beyond "why does it always rain on me"
Quite like Portishead's album Dummy, but never have listened to any of their other stuff. Also very much like this, but slightly different vibes with less electro influence. Strong songs like The Rip.
Enjoyed "The Big Country" and "Thank you for Sending me Angel"
Many many classics: Heart shaped box, Pennyroal tea, rape me. For me not as strong as Nevermind, but still massive album
Spotify did not have the full album, only some mixed records. Not bad, but really tough to tell from very rough live songs.
Not my cup of tea. As most more "old school" rap albums, this one does not click with me
Love it. Lemmy and Motorhead live are a true force. RIP Lemmy
Very strong album. Great fuzz guitars, stellar songwriting. "Next girl" my favorite, but many bangers on it.
Not my cup of tea. Too much disco disco.
Cheesy, but I liked it
Too much "talking" / avantgarde stuff.
