I enjoyed that, a good album. 4*

Some good funky tunes, but did lose me along journey in parts. The better songs make it 3*

Wouldn't normally throw on a Coldplay album, tend to find them boring after a couple of songs but this was more enjoyable than I expected, forgetting their big singles were on this album. They go a long way for making up for the more tedious songs but even those are well written.

Picturing myself in an American bar with you all I could happily listen to this in the background of our ramble. I wouldn't choose to put it on but also wouldn't complain if somebody else had. Prefer the uptempo tunes with this genre not a fan of the slower Cash style. 2* but by no means bad.

Nope. As awful as I expected, never been a fan of Iggy and this did nothing to sway me. I was wrong I will be giving out a 1* on this list!

Punk is one of those genres that I've never got on with, this album did nothing to change that. The songs are short lived but unfortunately there's a lot of them and they all sound very similar. 1*

Enjoyed this, musicianship is really good they're obviously a talented bunch, it did lose me a little in parts so it's just shy of a 4* for me but a strong 3* for sure

Not as awful as I expected but only enjoyed parts of it. Never a whole song either. It was ok, there's plenty worse out there. Enjoyed some of the riffage. 2*

Had some funky sections especially some of the bass lines which I enjoyed but largely bored me. The tracks do sound to me like they were made with films in mind. The odd track here and there were decent enough for that but not interesting enough as an album to listen to start to finish. 2*

Found this boring, I appreciated some of the music throughout but they didn't really get developed much if at all. For what I'd say is fairly minimalist in its approach I'd need to connect more to the vocals but I didn't get much emotion from the singer albeit a seemingly good singer. 2* just not my thing I guess but not awful.

I enjoyed Smug and Don't let the rain bring you down but I lost interest in between. Tinny lead guitar sound was off putting in places too. I would've enjoyed darkness darkness more if the guitar was lower in the mix and not drowning out the vocals. Also some odd choice of vocal delay on that track. Not awful but as a whole it was just OK rather than good 2*

It was ok, didn't really get anything from this album, wasn't horrible to listen to though just forgettable.

Not a Pulp fan but the music in parts saved this from being a 1*. Don't get on with his voice which doesn't help

Some parts I enjoyed but punk never seems to strike a chord with me though I found this a less agonising punk album to listen to as it seemed to lean towards rock in areas. It was ok 2*

Enjoyed the music to this but couldn't get on with the vocals for a whole album. Was ok though, surprise surprise another 2*.

Enjoyed the beats and bass lines conjured up by this album of soul. There are some misses on here or less enjoyable at least so gets a solid 3* from me.

I was ready to give this 3* as I enjoyed the first handful of songs which I didn't expect but by the end of the album I'd had enough of his voice and the songs weren't different enough to keep my interest despite that. 2*

It was ok, nothing really stood out to me and although there were parts that I enjoyed somewhat it was short lived for the majority of the album. 2*

Strong start Tina, unfortunately as the album went on it fell a bit flat for me in places. The good songs on there do just about enough for me to give it 3*

Musicianship was good, clear talent throughout the album but even still a tough listen for me. Did not keep my interest at all really though I enjoyed parts of some songs.

Was decent, didn't love all of it but liked enough of it to enjoy it on the whole. Reminded me of the strokes-era alternate/indie rock vibe from bands around at that time. 3*

Enjoyed this, not listened to these two before though I've heard of Premier. Good 3*

Not offensive but a bit too bland to have a significant opinion either way about it. Collectively summed up as 'meh'. 2*

It's ok, I was never really a big fan of this style at the time and it hasn't convinced me otherwise this time round. 2*

Didn't get much out of this some of the music was fine, he seemed drunk, some of the vocals were a bit mumbled/slurred in parts which was distracting. 2*

It's a shame that this is 2 hours too long. I was mostly enjoying this, enough for 3* I'd say but it has to go down as a 1* overall for the sheer stamina required to get through from start to finish.

I was surprised that I actually enjoyed this up until nothing compares 2 u, after that there were songs that didn't fit on the same album and it fell flat. Enough on there to enjoy though 3*

It gets a 2* for the talent. Not my cup of tea for an album to listen to.

Shame, there was pockets of delight in some of theses funk fests but they fell flat often. Cholly was a particular highlight. 2*

I mostly enjoyed this, I've discovered the closer Bowie gets to his "Fame" vibe the more I enjoy him. Big tune.

Pretty middle of the road for this genre wasn't bad but equally not interesting.

I love this stuff in film scores alongside its context but it has to be pretty good to grab me enough to interest me to listen to as an album and this wasn't it.

Enjoyed this, it brought back a lot of 90s nostalgia.

Solid album, definitely oreger the funkier vibes when they appear like southbound again.

Come out to play and self esteem are particular highlights for me as they are more the vibe of offspring I prefer. The rest of the album is filled with the more thrashier side of punk which I'm less bothered about.

Enjoyed most of this, gets a bit too long for me to listen to this style but I still enjoyed plenty of it

Never been a fan of Cash and this didn't sway me otherwise.

Not a fan of these, in particular the vocals, music was ok though

Some good musicianship. Hit and miss with the songs but some strong ones in there to make up for the weaker ones. Pinball Wizard is a worldie. Album makes more sense as a soundtrack.

I enjoy the first half of this album more than the second. I imagine a road trip in America back in the 80s would've vibed on this album at some point. Solid album with plenty of cheesy big choruses 3*

Spotify only gave me a few songs from this album to listen to? And what I did listen to, I wasn't a fan of.

Had to source this elsewhere as for some reason Spotify didn't have any songs to play from it. I didn't enjoy the vocals, the songs on the whole didn't interest me either but some of them were okay.

Didn't mind this album at all. Sucker for harmonies and this type of music usually has something going for it for me when done well which I think this is. Good album 3*

Jazz instrumentals don't usually hold me interest but I enjoyed the samba vibe. Would enjoy this in a bar with drinks please.

This never really grabbed me, some decent musicianship but very forgettable songs.

This largely bored the nips off of my tits. 'I got you' was ok.

I enjoyed this, some great songs on here, I listened to the 2011 remastered version and it was not consistent enough for how long it was for me but the hits were big and the misses slight. Just kisses out on a 5 for me.

One or two songs interested me somewhat but outside of those I found it boring, this side of Bowie I'm not that fussed about.
