Sounds like an acid trip set to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Interesting but I personally don't find it essential to hear before death.

This album shows the clear influence as it's all over the place. Blues, rock, psychedelia, etc While I don't prefer to listen to The Beatles, I can see why this album is so loved by critics

Got this coincidentally two days after Midnights release. Honestly I love this album. It's all catchy and a hard right turn from her country albums. It's produced very well and the lyrical content matches the Top 40/ Pop genre matches the sound.
