Amazing classic hip-hop album of 90s
Sound of 80s. Good solid songs with multiple complex backtracks. I have enjoyed this one.
Didn’t like it actually
Sounds obsolete, nothing attractive for me
Haha…..classic
Too many songs!
Good old psychodelic rock))
Very boring songs. I don't like Country, actually.
2 good songs and rest of them are not even close to hits. Sound like 2 different bands.
Despite there are some great guitar riffs and beautiful rhythms, I certainly hate drum lines of this kind. It reminds me the worst impression of Slayer. It’s not beauty of music, it’s just rough sound for rough sound.
One songs was added to my list, anyway.
Consistent quality
Not really my choice
Lovely classic rock album!
Sister Luck production was copied for Knocking on the Heavens Door song by GnR
Noisy, grungy - good texture
Shitty vocals, weak guitar lines
Good drums though
Amazing album. It was pleasure to listen to it.
One track added to my collection.
However, sounds outdated and it is not my genre.
Definitely one of the TOP-50 albums of all time.
Easy “chill” sound…
Simple music…
Lyrics inspired by MJ and LSD….
I could listen to it sometimes but I didn’t feel anything special
Just usual british pop/punk rock, even with some post punk vibes in it
Adorable voice of Janis Joplin such a pleasure to listen to.
Band is not that great sounding unfortunately. This is the only reason why I don’t rate this masterpiece 5/5.
RIP LEGEND!
2 beautiful hits
2 songs I have second chance (6&8)
Rest set list maintains decent standard, but nothing interesting for me.
The entire album sounds like one old good love song. Legendary voice of Frank Sinatra cannot be mistaken.
Unfortunately, this kind of music is outdated for me and I can’t really enjoy it.
Only 1 good song which is very famous.
Rest of album is boring
Sound is ok. Samples are ok. Vocals are fine. Reminds me Dummy by Portishead, which is far better than this.
Great production.
I can’t recall any HIT song, but you can easily pick any song and enjoy listening to its instrumentals. Vocals are not that extraordinary. Just marching with band vibes. Added to my collection .
Sounds like Michael Jackson to me. Added few songs which deserved 2nd chance.
Album is easy to listen to. Good melodies and 60s vocals (Beatles like)
I would say it reminds me of The Beatles a lot.
I am going to listen to it again.
Good classic album which I have already listened.
Well, this is very bad as it is written in most of the reviews. I listen to this album while running and running went well. I don’t think I will ever come back to listening to this album because electronic music is not really my type.
This album was definitely something new for its time (1966)
Starting with first song it sets high standard and determines the mood of future material. However, rest of the songs were less attractive for me. I left 4 songs for “second chance”
Album has a lot of orchestra additions which make it sound rich.
Such an amazing record !
I had no idea that glam rock existed in early 70s! Sounds fresh, full of musical ideas, great vocal melodies, chords progressions, production etc
Way ahead of its time and so underrated in my opinion. Mark Bolan RIP.
It was pleasure to travel through Billy Corgan’s Universe.
I don’t think it was necessary to include that many songs into album. However, those “low grade” songs create special vibe within the album. They perfectly fill silence between good songs. By the way, there are many good songs. I’d say 1h15m of good stuff out of 2+hrs.
Sounds great even for my untrained ear. I can’t tell trombone from sax or anything else.
Bass lines were great!
Good record! I would even give it 3.5 out of 5.
Great classic rock sound!
Sounds good and aggressive. Good for gym and running. It looks like lyrics are shit, but I don’t care. Nothing extraordinary to attract my attention, so 3 out of 5.
I would give this album even 4.5/5
Great record! Enjoyed from the first note.
Such a contradicting impressions about this record…
On one hand is boring vocals from the artist. On the other hand great songwriting and strong back vocals. I added Jazz Police song to my collection because is sounds very unusual and have cool female vocal lines.
