Beck has an interesting sound. I like it in smaller doses than an entire album.
Can only listen to 1 or 2 Van Halen songs and then I’m done.
This seemed like pretty typical 70’s folk music. A little boring, and nothing too special.
Smooth jazz album
I haven’t listened to this album in a very long time. I never really liked Beck that much when he first came out and listening to this album again reminded me that I still don’t like him that much. Some of his songs are kind of fun, but they all start sounding the same after awhile.
Love Blondie! I don’t think I had ever listened to this entire album though. The entire album is fun 80’s rock!
I certainly know the most famous songs that were played on the radio from this album. This is great workout and running music. Always did like the Arctic Monkeys for that. Not necessarily an album I would just sit down and listen to for enjoyment though.
Boy, does this album bring me back. I kind of forgot how many of the lyrics are explicit. But I do love a young Lauryn Hill.
Classic rock album at the beginning of the punk scene. I enjoyed listening to this entire album while doing a workout which is was great for.
Never heard of this artist. Not a fan at all. Don’t like his voice, don’t like the music, don’t like the lyrics (too much a book-style and not very lyrical), not very melodic. Somewhat depressing lyrics overall, political or, if not political, social commentary that I just was bored by. Will never listen to this again. Ever.
This is awful!! I would like her voice, but the songs are so terrible that I can’t even enjoy the timbre and tone of her voice.
Always like CCR. For some reason they remind me of my father.
This brings you back. I had never heard the term “trip hop” prior to listening to the album today. Good chill music.
I don’t like all 80’s rock, but I do enjoy some AC/DC from time to time. Definitely don’t like every song on the album though. Listened as a workout album today which worked well for my weight workout.
This is not my favorite type of jazz. It sounds good what it is just, not my preference. I think it does make good soundtrack or background music. Spotify took me to one of his solo albums afterwards, and I liked this artist as a piano soloist much better, rather than as part of a jazz ensemble.
Never heard of this group. Not a fan.
I understand that Bollywood music is influential for pop music. But it’s just not a genre that I listen to.
Didn’t recognize this band name when I saw it. But I do know the song “Bang a Gong (Get It On).” Which is a fun song though the rest of the album was fairly dull.
Being a child of 80s and 90s, I’ve always been a Prince fan. I still don’t like every song on the album but this is classic Prince for sure.
I love Paul Simon’s “Graceland” album (it was one of the first CDs I ever purchased!). I had no idea this group existed as I assumed Paul Simon had just hired individual musicians to sing on the album. This is cool music, not something I would listen to regularly, but definitely skilled and fun.
I know this group was considered influential for the 60’s counter culture movement, but this is just noise to me.
Oh the Violent Femmes and their iconic 80s songs! I didn’t realize how many of their most popular songs were on the same album.
I have always loved this album. Fat Boy Slim has a fun sound.
Classic Aerosmith. This kind of music is exactly what you want it to be for specific times/places. Made a good workout album.
Did not one this album existed. I love these old American classic songs and Willie Nelson does a nice job covering them. Definitely a country twang feel and I prefer other artists singing these songs, but it was fine. Moonlight In Vermont was probably the best.
The intro to this album is hilarious considering that this music is not at all soothing. Offspring is not my favorite band, nor is this my favorite genre of music. It has its place, but overall not my preference.
I like Cheap Trick when I’m in the right mood and it make good workout music.
Not my favorite
I like a handful of Linkin Park songs, but overall, this music has too much yelling.
This brings me back. I can only listen to Alanis Morissette in small doses.
Eh. Kind of boring.
Never been a fan of the grunge rock genre.
Loved the entire album. It’s Stevie!
I have never heard of this alternative band. Makes decent background music. Reminds me of that 90’s movie with Ethan Hawke and Winona Ryder “Reality Bites.”
Meh. Not a fan
I know this live album recorded in a real prison was groundbreaking, but I can only listen to Johnny Cash in small doses.
Fun & funky. Didn’t like all the songs.
Love The Beatles. Not the entire album, but I do like a lot of the songs.
I’ve always enjoyed Amy Winehouse’s sound. It’s a shame that mental health and substance abuse issues cut her life short before she could produce more.
Not a fan
Love Billy Joel.
Chillin’ with Bob Marley.
Very Devo
Meh. This is pretty typical 90s alternative, without any real standout songs.
Have always LOVED this album!!
I’ve always been partial to the band. It reminds me of my college years.
Love this album!!!!!
I’ve always liked The Talking Heads.
Only kind of like a few songs from this album, even when it first came out.
Really like Amy Winehouse. Sad life for the artist.
A lot of weird songs on this album.
I enjoy some Radiohead, but I can’t always listen to an entire album.
Fun, but wouldn’t own it.
Decent 80’s sound
I like Patti Smith’s voice, and the overall sound, but I don’t actually like a lot of the songs individually.
I like this band more now than I did when they were active in my teenage years. Grunge is still not my favorite style of music.
This was way more chill of an album than I was expecting. I enjoyed it.
Country Springsteen. Not bad.
Did not enjoy any these songs.
Meh
Beck has an interesting sound. I like it in smaller doses than an entire album.

Unsure of this one
You cannot deny that Kanye West is talented. This album has some really interesting samples and music riffs. It’s such a shame that he has such mental health issues that have been allowed to go untreated for so long.
Can only listen to 1 or 2 Van Halen songs and then I’m done.
Very old school cowboy country
Never really been a fan of Jethro Tull and this album didn’t change my mind.
Ah, Practical Magic!!!
I wasn’t expecting much from this. I’m not so I ended up liking it more than I thought I would.
Fun Dusty Springfield songs I hadn’t heard.
David Bowie is always good for a listen.
Meh
It’s Michael!
Have always liked Tracy Chapman sound. Don’t love every song, but love the overall vibe of the album.
Skipped through this album. Didn’t really enjoy it.
Really only knew the one famous song from this album. Made for good music today.
Enjoyed this album, Not every song certainly, but overall. It is definitely 1960s folk music. I really like the female vocalist’s sound.
Meh
Classic Radiohead
Classic Rolling Stones
Meh
Meh
I haven’t thought of Goldfrapp in a long time!
It’s Elvis
Definitely The Stones.
This was fine
I have always liked the Chicago sound with the brass section. This album was a little too freeform for me. I definitely like their later stuff.

This was a chill album.
Never heard of ‘em. Kinda fun.
Never heard of this band yet they sound very familiar.
Basic funk
Love Joni Mitchell’s voice.
Meh
Not the style of techno I like.
