David BowieUnique in the way that I didn't know one could use such experimental instrumentation and still bore me. 2/5
Unique in the way that I didn't know one could use such experimental instrumentation and still bore me. 2/5
damn good - 9/10
I've never sat down and listened to anything similar to this It sounds beautiful but given that I relate to practically none of the lyrics, I don't see myself giving this any repeat listens. 3/5
Good vocals and performance, however I don't get anything out of this type of music. 2/5
Sounds like fallout music. And like fallout music, I do have to be quite distracted while listening to enjoy it. 1/5
Sounds consistently pretty good but nothing jumps out at or hooks me. 3/5
I was vibing pretty hard the whole time. The bass tickled my brain quite nicely. 4/5
Unique in the way that I didn't know one could use such experimental instrumentation and still bore me. 2/5
Aside from a few standout tracks this was a pretty meh to average rock album. 3/5
meh 2/5
Some decent tracks and some worse tracks. 2/5
In a vacuum the instruments are great and the vocals are fairly good. However there are times when it feels like they don't entirely fit together. 3/5
Interesting beat choices/instrumental stuff are the only thing holding the vocals and lyrics from leaping headfirst into a 1 star rating. Barely 2/5
A drunk stranger that only eats lit cigarettes rambles at you for 44 minutes in a jazz bar as you uncomfortably try to escape. 4/5 Would have been a 5 if it wasn't for Jersey Girl being somewhat bad.
Almost impressively inconsistent. There's a couple great tracks (Angels, Let Me Entertain You) and a bunch of slop. The good singles are a good enough addition to a playlist to drag the album up to a 3 though. 3/5
I know nothing about the making of music so I don't know why this caught me to the extent that it did but this is an easy 5/5 Takes me back to the time I fell down a flight of stairs as a teenager.
A few absolute bangers, but good lord this gets repetitive fast. 3/5
Fairly dated and fairly boring. 2/5
I'm sure this would be great within the context of the film but it's pretty boring by itself. There is a rare highlight to toss in an instrumental playlist though. 2/5
A pretty dope album when it wasn't trying it's hardest to give me a headache. So half dope. 2/5
I can't believe 'Jesus Built My Hotrod' invented Nu metal. Fairly well headbangable. Gets a bit repetitive at times. Some songs feel like they could be a bit shorter. 3/5
A good voice isn't enough to stop music being boring. What's the point of pop without hooks? 1/5
Not my thing, sounded fine though. 2/5
Well crafted vibes. 4/5
It's aight. 3/5
Very repetitive. The vocals are very impressive though. Maybe I just don't get this type of music. 2/5
My first full Queen album. It's a whole lot more than than the sum of its parts, which makes me quite excited about their other albums, given how good the hits are. 4/5
Damn I think this guy liked marijuana. Just kinda the same sound for 40 minutes. 2/5
Super atmospheric and pretty. 4/5
While I'm a fan of the writing and the melodies, I really dislike the overly shiny production side of things. 3/5
Not my flavour of jazz. 2/5
Pleasant and relaxing but it really starts to drag. 3/5
The energy in this is absolutely electric. I've not heard much Johnny cash but you can tell that he and everyone involved is having the time of their lives. This was a great experience, even though the music isn't my thing. 4/5
Man I wish they turned Savoir Faire into a full album. The instruments (especially the bass) are fantastic. Most of these tracks would benefit from being cut in half though. 3/5
Not my style of rock. 2/5
Weird but neat. 3/5
I thought there was potential at first. 2/5
The album is in two discs on Spotify so I'm going to listen to them separately. A-side: fairly good soft rock. I think my expectations were a bit high, given The Beatles reputation. 3.5/5 B-side: Didn't like it as much, Revolution 9 was really cool though, whatever it was. 3/5 Total: 3/5
The first song jumpscared me lol. I love how unhinged and raw this album sounds. I appreciate how direct the lyrics are as well. I don't think I've ever been horny enough to give this a 5 though. 4/5
I would love to schedule an appointment with my therapist but they moved to a different city recently 5/5
Odd, I think I'd like an instrumental version a lot more. 3/5
I am struggling to stay awake long enough to listen through this album. It does make for an alright lullaby though. 1/5
This is bizarre. I am genuinely not sure how I feel about it. I guess I'll give it a decent rating solely due to my never having heard anything like this before. 3/5
I'm too sick atm to give a good review so. It was a'ight. 3/5
I'm still too sick to write a proper review. It bops. 4/5
Fun but waaay too long. 3/5
Fairly good noisy rock. Seemingly nothing too special but not a bad way to spend an afternoon. 3/5
Sounds all right but it isn't my thing. 2/5
I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Super dramatic and far more melancholic than I've heard from anything else in the genre. Also these lyrics are fantastic. 5/5
Very over dramatic in places. A lot of good songs too though. 3/5
This sounds pretty decent for a few songs but man it starts to drag. 2/5
Maybe I'm just too young to understand music without bleeps and bloops but this was pretty boring. 2/5
I like the sound but none of the songs really stuck with me. 3/5
Meh
Good vibes. 3/5
Oh fuck, Grandpa's off his meds again. 3/5
Unfortunately relevant today. 4/5
A good rock album all round. 4/5
Good songs played well. I wouldn't choose to listen to this over a studio recorded album but that's just me. 4/5
It's fine. I wouldn't play it myself but I wouldn't complain if I heard it again. 3/5
Very relaxing. 4/5
The tonal whiplash is pretty wild. Good music though. 4/5
Fantastic rock album. Love all the details in the back of the music. 5/5
Alright rock. Nothing too special but that's not a bad thing sometimes. 3/5
Not my kind of jazz. 2/5
It's fine. 3/5
Fairly standard rock music. Starts blending together a bit by the end but there's some solid tracks. 3/5
It sounds quite good, but it's fairly boring. 3/5
Meh
Incredible atmosphere. 4/5
Fantastic mix of chill, catchy and complex. 5/5
Should be 5 stars but there's a couple tracks that drag it down into a 4.
I expected a bit better given the reviews and the genre, but I just didn't feel a connection for whatever reason. 3/5
Pretty good vibe. I zoned out a bit, not gonna lie. 3/5
Decent rock, if not a bit generic. The only real standout was Hoover Dam. 3/5
Not my favorite Metallica album but it's still bloody good. It's status is definitely earned. 4/5
A decent vibey album. There are more than a few moments where it becomes too sparse in sound though. 3/5
I don't think I'm qualified to rate this album. Bizarre as hell, but I had fun. 3/5
Fantastic sound, though it could probably be a little better with some more focus on sounding good rather than technical ability. Still great though. 4/5
It's not truly live so I'll knock it down a point but it's still fun, though somewhat basic, rock. 3/5
Started to lose me towards the end with the low energy back half but a good album regardless. 3/5
Alright to have on in the background. Not great for much else. 2/5
Fun and weird. The second to last track was pretty boring though. 4/5
Misogyny aside, this goes pretty hard. 4/5
Started fine but it's not a great sign when an album starts dragging 3 songs in. 2/5
I can't say that I enjoyed this album exactly, but it was an experience that I'm glad I have had. 3/5
Consistently good and interesting instrumentals, but I don't mesh with the vocals. 3/5
Background music. 2/5
Goths in their natural habitat. 4/5
It definitely doesn't deviate from its sound. That would probably be a good thing for somebody who liked the sound. 2/5
Great album with some weaker tracks. 4/5
There are five songs worth of ideas in each track and they somehow manage to make it work half the time which is fairly impressive. 3/5
Pleasant enough
Average sad boy indie rock. 3/5
Another British rock band trying to put me to sleep. 2/5
Relatable.
Not for me
I don't think I'm smart enough to fully appreciate this. 3/5
Good vibes and atmosphere but nothing grabbed me outside of that. 3/5
It's alright. 3/5
Dope
Nostalgic as hell. 4/5
Fantastic storytelling. 4/5
Is pop not supposed to be catchy? 2/5
Groovy, but I don't have the energy to groove for a full hour. 3/5
Fantastic. 5/5
It sounds fine, but it isn't my thing. 2/5
A pretty nothing rock album with some decent moments scattered throughout. 2/5
Really fun with fantastic guitar. 4/5
good, but it's not my thing. 3/5
Disc 1. I'm enjoying this a lot, although the vocals are throwing me off slightly on first listen. 4/5 Disc 2. I got used to the vocals but the second half didn't hold my interest as well as the first. 3.5/5 All together 4/5
